You wander the wilds, looking for Pokemon for nearly an hour before you are far enough way from Saffron to find something.

Soon enough you find yourselves in tall grass up to your waist. Thete seems to be nothing, but the radars are picking up 6 small Pokemon running around.

Sparky crawls into your face, completely blocking your view. Normally it'd be cute, but no it was a hinderance.

You see yellow streaks running through the grass, almost two fast to see. They are blurs, but you are able to make out trails of electricity running off them. Then the radar shows them clump together, about 10 meters away, and stop moving.

The Umbroen nodded at Romeo, and hugged close to his legs. He was still holding little Puck in his arms.

'I'm here to heal you up Luna, don't worry about getting hurt. Just give it your best!'

Ethan's eyes dart between his pad, which currently running the radar app, and the area around them. Once the 6 blips clumped and dissapeared ahead he has everyone stop.

They've stopped moving about 10m ahead of us. Lets approach them slowly and cautiously.

Ollie moves forward 1m ahead of Ethan hoping to draw attention of whatever they are incase they are hostile.

Paul draws out another ball slowly, attempting to not disturb the unseen creatures watching them.

Willy, let's have you and Hardcase doing double duty here.

Unless interrupted, the Sandshrew emerges.

You step into a small clearing where the six Pokemon become obvious; Ethan instantly identifies them as Pikachu. They are cowering, bunching together as if in fear.

Then you hear a blip on the nerd's radars. It fades quickly, but there was movement out in the grass. Something, or someone is out there.

The Pikachu dont' send coherent thoughts back to Prolios; a black blur, a Pikachu bleeding out on the ground, and feelings of pure terror all slam into him.

The mind in the grass is definately Pokemon; something smarter than most. It isn't the savage, basic intellect of most; it is the focused, determined mind of a hunter. It recoils at your touch, only to come back, slamming into you with feelings of rage.

Pikachu identify something violent and black colored. No further description. Artemis pets his head and motions for him to stay back. Blood means close combat, and that wasn't Prolios's thing. She lets Aquilla out for what feels like the umpteenth time in the past twenty four hours. "Whatever out there is aggressive and attacked these Pikachu, killing one. I think we should act to defend the Pikachu first, and see where things go from there." Prolios, Double Team. Guard the Pikachu and hold back whatever is out there. He obeys, splitting into three copies, two heading towards the woods and a third carefully aproaching the Pikachu. Don't worry. Friends.

Arte speaks up, and he nods.
"Works for me."

Roger. Ollie, see if you can calm them down but don't get too close. Don't want to spook them. Ollie starts talking to the Pikachu trying to calm them down the best he can. If they get hostile, at least he can take their Thundershocks.

Ethan on the otherhand moves to K10 next to his allies, Quartz following behind as an escort to J10, using Defense Curl on the way. He tries to spot whatever created the blip. He was the best man for the job after all.

None of you see the Pokemon until it is too late. A black blur, faster than your eyes can follow, dashes across the clearing, blasting through Prolios's copy, leaving it dashed behind.

You hear a scream behind you only to see two Pikachu lying on the ground, blood gushing, just barely concious. A blast of electricity flies into the brush, and a large green scythe hangs out from the grass. Ethan, through his studies, is able to instantly identify the blade as one of a Scyther, a deadly pack hunter that has killed many an unprepared trainer.

The radar shows the last location of the two that dissapeared into the brush.

As you play over that flash over and over in your mind, you see the characteristics. The scythes, the head, even the wings. The shape all fits! Only the coloring is off. Due to its position as a pack leader and its odd coloring, you suspect that this is a Shiny Scyther. Not only are Shinies all around stronger, faster, smarter, and hardier than their normal cousins, they are also rare and prized by colectors.

Ethan draws his pistol and takes aim at the leader as he dashes back into the brush. As he fires off a round he informs his teammates of the dangers. It's a pack of Scyther! The Pack Leader is a shiny right behind us! Be careful and stay together. They are using False Swipe, those Pikachu's are barely conscious. I don't think they will use the same luxury on us. Ethan pauses and a look of sheer horror crosses his face. Don't return any of your pokemon! They should know Pursuit!
