The boy tiny dinosaur has something akin to a puzzled expression on his face.
"Rawr? Rawwwwr?"*Apples? What are those?
Silly Andy! Tiny dinosaurs don't know what fruits are called!

Andy shows him the apple he had offered him before.

"This is an apple. A fruit we two legs eat. Very delicious, but not your taste."

Toby stands up and turns his bandanna back into the fedora. Then he returns to the camp to take a look around.

"Bye bye." Salix calls to Toby as she hurries after Freddie. Once she's found a good spot near the lake, Salix points out where they should dig. She giggles as she watches the Huldra work. "Okay, that's deep enough." She says after a bit. The dryad puts the whole seed cluster in the hole. "Now fill it again!"

Dogs DO look rather silly when they're digging holes. And the method used by foxes is pretty much exactly the same.

When asked Freddie will fill the hole back in, pushing the dirt and packing it down with his nose. Which ALSO looks rather silly. By the time he's finished he'll have sandy soil all over his face.

Freddie sits down and looks at the patch of recently dug earth.

"So... Do we just wait for a few years now? Or is the seed going to grow really fast?"

Given the Nexus one never knows.

"Oh, I've had lots of those ma'am. Since catwomen vastly outnumber catmen, catmen were expected to come back once a season for a week to breed ma'am. So I have a lot ma'am. Well... had before the incident ma'am." Butler looks briefly sad at the whole catpeople war that caused the death of most all the catpeople he knew. But he recovers from that. "But they're rebuilding and don't quite need me for that purpose anymore ma'am." The levels are more equal right now. It'll take a few generations before they get lopsided again.

Not that Butler paid any care or attention to any of his kittens. That's not how the rather communal tribe worked and Butler really couldn't imagine doing it any other way. Throw them in daycare and let the nurses sort them out!

Vidalia remains quiet, not knowing what else to say to that. She finishes her breakfast.

"We're gonna grow it fast." Salix says cheerily as she kneels in the dirt. She puts her hands on the ground and closes her eyes in concentration. After a minute, the seed starts rapidly growing. It gets about two feet tall before it stops. Salix is rather dazed by the time she finishes.

Toby decides to take a look around for Sophie. He hasn't talked with her in awhile and he doesn't want to miss a step in his rigorous redemption process. But if he can't find her in a public area of the camp he'll just go back to his lab to make vaccines for impoverished children or something.

"Oh, I'm sure. If she's anything like Jamie..." Quinn chuckles.

Reelshka nods, smiling. I'm not sure how Renetta was turned into a Wolfen, but it's good to see her and Waterstrider happy. They really deserve it.

Jamie laughs cheerfully at that, shaking her head. "Just the right size bigger, I think!"

From a fair distance away, the two girls might notice a third young lady watching them. She appears shy, and unless approached after a few moments, will go over to speak with them.

"Um. Hi," The young girl says weakly, brushing a brown lock of hair back behind ear. She studies them with small, quiet blue eyes. "Can I sit with you guys?"

Brinika peers at the new girl. Sure! Come right over!

Well, Tobias can find Sophie sitting in a garden chair and reading a book in front of her cabin. Seems she's catching some sun.

As Tobias wanders around, he'll be stopped by what appears to be a demonic elf, "Hey, you're Tobias, right? Sophie mentioned you. My name's Eric." This will likely be before he runs into Sophie.

Eric is a young man, as far as elves go, and is currently wearing a gray tee-shirt and jeans, though only bare feet. The demonic traits about him are a pair of pointed fangs protruding from his lower lip, red eyes, a pair of small horns, and a tail that ends in an arrowhead shape. As I'm not entirely familiar with Tobias' appearance, a description would be appreciated.

Toby heads towards Sophie, but gets stopped by Eric, whom the Druid stares at suspiciously. Hello Eric. What did she say about me?

Toby appears to be a young human male in his early twenties. He has disheveled red hair that pokes out from under his brown fedora, blue eyes, and a fairly handsome face. He has some sort of tattoo on his neck made up of orange swirling lines. He has a pretty scrawny physique, but he holds himself like an experienced fighter. He also has a few knives on his belt and much more concealed on his person and in his ever present leather satchel. Right now he's wearing a white t-shirt, jeans, and hiking boots.

"A couple thing, but those are private," He says, "She wouldn't let me pry too far because of doctor-patient confidentiality, but I learned enough to pique my interest. I wanted to ask you what you thought of GLoG in general, as well as a couple more specific things."

Toby chuckles. That's amusing. See, I, unlike Sophie, actually am a doctor. Got several degrees hanging on my wall and everything. But if she wants to pretend I'm her patient, okay. As for what I think about GLoG... it's a good place. We do some good work here. Oh, not as much as the leaders would like to think, but the redemption program isn't useless. He grins and watches Eric closely. Why, I haven't committed genocide in months!

Moonless Midnight Where'd the Funny Titles Go?

Marty struggles are the tentacle thingys wrap around him. He can only growl out a few more harsh words as he feels the tentacles start constricting him in his various pressure-points. He keeps struggling but to no avail. "She'll f-find y-you! Quinn....w-whatever you're d-doing....I w-won't let you hurt anyone....Grawr!" He struggles once more before spots begin to appear and he falls silent. He's successfully stuffed into the armor and hidden. The goddess will be able to leave him alone and unconscious. However, after she is long gone, Marty's weight shifts inside the huge (for him) suit of armor. The armor falls down to the ground and starts rolling down the steep hill Marty was trudging up from when he met the goddess. He keeps rolling down until the suit of armor smashers into the muddy little lake he had been returning from. The suit falls into the water. Luckily, the water was not very deep and the armor wedged against a rock. Marty's head barely stuck out of the water and the armor lies slanted on the bank. He'll stay that way until morning. Perhaps someone could come across the strange man in the water?

Reinholdt continues poking Marty with a stick. Poke poke. He seems to not be waking up even after several pages of poking. Reinholdt might want to take Marty to the Infirmary.

Vidalia remains quiet, not knowing what else to say to that. She finishes her breakfast.

"Why, did you want kittens ma'am?" Butler asks Vidalia. That's usually why people bring it up.

Eric takes it in stride, just continuing to smile, "That's good to hear - neither have I, but I'm more here for my soul stealing girlfriend," Eric says, a cool nonchalance permeating his voice, "This, of course, raises the question - Why are you humoring Sophie in the first place if you aren't her patient? It was her you were looking for just now, wasn't it?"

Sophie and I have a strictly personal relationship. No need to let such professional terms like "doctor", "patient", or "ethics" anywhere near us. Toby shrugs. So what are the specific things you want to know?

"I think I already got them, actually," The elf says without much hint as to what he means, "I can't help but notice that you didn't answer my question, however - why are you humoring her?"

The Druid raises an eyebrow at the elf. Take your pick: She said I had to if I'm to stay here, my wife said I had to, my parole officer said so, my God commanded me to, I'm bored and have nothing better to do, or the sex is great.

"Those first four are a professional relationship, Tubs. Looks like you're in denial,"

Or maybe I'm telling amusing lies because I don't see why I should discuss personal things with a complete stranger? Toby is a little confused. He's here for redemption, Sophie is one of the people who handles redemption, of course they have a professional relationship. What kind of answer was this demon looking for?

Eric quirks an eyebrow, "Is not humor the denial of the dense but quick?"

Humor is a method of entertainment more amusing than saying the obvious. He rolls his eyes. Do you actually have a question you don't already know the answer to?

"That's a loaded question, Tubs. People always have questions, whether it's something major or something small. I suspect it's part of the reason you're going to see Sophie, actually. But the problem is readily apparent. Do you think it's helping?"

This idiot isn't making any sense. Part of the reason he's seeing Sophie for redemption is because people have questions? Whatever, just answer his question honestly without joking around and maybe he'll start making more sense. Yes, talking with Sophie has proved beneficial to me thus far.

"A good answer. How so?" Eric continues, rocking back and forth on his feet.

Should Salix be in danger of toppling over due to her wooziness the Huldra will attempt to give her something to lean on in the form of one of those overly abundant tails. Said tails will prove to be very fuzzy and comfortable to lean again.

"So... what does this mean?" Freddie inquires, sniffing at the tree. "Do you have two trees now?"

Jamie grins, and the the redhead waves for her to come and join them. "Sure! What's your name? I'm Jamie -Jamie Misaki Catherine Druid," she introduces herself fully. "And this is Brinika!"

I discovered that I have quite a bit in common with her, which personally makes it easier to discuss my problems. But generally, she's a good person who can both listen without judging and stubbornly keep you from temptation. Which tends to be a good thing when talking about Evil people.

"Nuh uh, I can't have two trees..." She trails off. Salix blinks a couple times, then passes out cold. She'll slump to the ground, pinning Freddie's tail beneath her if it can't support her full weight.
