Guess he was going to see Sunny earlier than he thought. He trot-hopped over to the door, using one of his forehooves to keep the wound from bleeding all over the place. "I'll be by t'start on the weapons once I'm patched up. Give the wings another spin an' tell me if anythin' goes wrong."

It's sort of a wonder why the big-wig of the guards aren't already swarming the place, but they are sort of short-hoofed. The mare makes her way to the guardhouse where this in no way will be awkward.

The last time he'd talked to the medic, she'd sounded a lot like his mother. And now she was all smiles and rainbows. She'd fit right in with this oddball crew of theirs. Sandy turned to show her his neck, complete with bloody hoofkerchief held over the wound. "I had a bit of an accident with some pliers. Nothin' too bad, just need some patchin' up is all."

Two small, round holes oozed blood on either side of his jugular vein. A hair to the right or left, and he'd be bleeding out. The pliers must've pierced his neck in the tumble, and only the grace of Luna kept them from plunging into his throat. As it stood, the wound was shallow, and easily treatable.
