Grills floated open the red handled briefcase and display the roll of metal tools. "No worries. I brought some. Didn't know if you preferred the Manhattan special. But it is just office doors. Your main reason for being here is his acting talent. Couldn't get an inside pony to hoof the materials directly so I need you to pretend that you work there and snatch the fuel and bags."

Lone Star knocked on the door. He'd smile when Icy came to the door and say Mornin' Icy.

Bad timing, Lone Star. As he knocked the door seemed to grow colder by the second. Then it suddenly froze and shattered as something sailed out of the house. It pinned itself on the stone wall on the opposite side of the street. If Lone Star were to look more closely, there seemed to be the remnant of a letter there, along with some pieces of naughty prose left.

"I'm so going to teach that stallion a lesson," Icy's voice said from within.

After not hearing Silverpine due to a combination of morning and wanting coffee because of the first thing, Mach goes to make the coffee. After a few minutes he returns with the brew stuff on a tray with a few mugs. "If you want you're stable enough to not need anypony else to help with going through the machine again," the pegasus comments to the more recent remarks.

He swallows the pancake he was eating, then puts his left hoof on her shoulder.
"Oh don't worry, at least you're still here fine and awake, and not knowing the enemy is an usual disadvantage, if they had magical armor and weapons, I guess they weren't just mere mooks then.....Wait magical armor and weapons? on the West Gate?"

He's suddenly shocked, and his hoof slides down to the bed.

Valley inside a mountain range, far to the west

Both Ironblade and Whitestone enter a valley through a small ravine that was just cleared of rocks and debris, inside there's an encampment with several ponies in armor, 2 of them with the same armor Ironblade and Whitestone, and others going in and out of a mine that goes inside a mountain on the side of the valley, carrying some shiny ore.

The two go to the center of the encampment, there a Unicorn standing and looking around, with armor that looks like theirs, but more armored.
Both then bow in front of him.

"Lord Doth , We've comple-"
The Unicorn then interrupts him
"I already know, I didn't select you two because of nothing, good work, you're both promoted to Corporal, now go back to your post and tell there what you've seen....And keep the armors, you've earned it"
He deadpans, then both Ironblade and Whitestone bow again, turn and keep going.

He then turns too and goes to a tent with a table and a map of the mountain range, he sits and looks at it, but he seems to be waiting.

Arvadraa slowly facehoofs and slides a bit into a corner. "Why do I have the feeling I'll be too busy healing the poor guards to be of any help.." She mutters.

"Blades is right, though. With all this, you could obviously just buy the vault in its entirety. What's all this actually about? If it's all the same to you, I'd rather not do something like this with false pretenses at worst and lack of information at best." She fixes Grills with her classic unblinking 'Lie-o-tron' stare, looking him over carefully as she waits.

After not hearing Silverpine due to a combination of morning and wanting coffee because of the first thing, Mach goes to make the coffee. After a few minutes he returns with the brew stuff on a tray with a few mugs. "If you want you're stable enough to not need anypony else to help with going through the machine again," the pegasus comments to the more recent remarks.

Gearstride gladly accepted the mug of coffee, it was a welcomed thing on such a chilly day.

Grills then listened to the comments and took in Avadraa's stare. He approached her and brushed back her mane with his hoof and a sorrowful face. "It is a personal matter, sweet beauty. The owner of this casino is the one behind the little war we entertained not long ago. And one of the goals of the battle was to get a hold of the information I had and use me as bait for a chaotic force of nature. Two forces actually. The other hunk of bait was my mother.

The backer of the mercenary army has majority ownership of this casino but legal ninjutsu removes all hoofprints. So I plan to hurt him in a way he will feel it. I hope to keep injuries low and too a minimum but I can't guarantee anything for anypony who is not an innocent civilian. I am better than him in that matter."

"Dark Forces attacked my home, a village kinda far to the west, had a pretty large mine of active shimmerite, they wiped out everything there, I guess they already started using it...."
