I haven't seen how strong really are Sarrukh so I don't know

Pun-Pun, the character build that can achieve unlimited power (at last count, it was achievable at level 1, and the initial character build was Kobold), uses Sarrukh dreadfully-poorly worded racial abilites to literally shatter the game into bloody fragments.



Humans are not objectively strong, anyway; they're actually a little puny in the grands scheme of things. The average human would stuggle to win an arm-wrestle with the average chimp, despite the size disparity, and most animals of roughly human-size are generally stronger.

Equestrian ponies, as previously observed, have super-human strength and endurance/resistance to damage (Rarity is capable of taking the force of a 90º turn at Mach 5 (calculation assuming only a speed of Mach 1 indicated a force of 1600g on that turn, a hundred and sixty times what a human can endure) without injury, Twilight can sustain only minor and easily healed injuries from a piano being dropped on her head, and RD can heal from broken bones in but a few days).

In terms of purely physical abilities, Equestrian ponies are in the upper echelons of meta/superhuman range, or the rang of D&D dragons. (Which begs the question of how much stronger Equestrian dragons are...)

Holy crap. Or unholy crap, in the case of the Commander. That's...something that defies conventional adjectives.

This is a pretty cool idea, though limited by the amount of time people have to spend online. I do think pony Portal, Left4Dead, Starcraft (already happening), TF2, or LoL would all be great though. Not to be terrible or anything, but it's your idea, so start organizing

To cut to the chase, I'm leaving for Japan next Saturday, and I'm not coming back to the States until October. I'll be taking a few classes at a university there, as well as doing my senior year project there. Super excited, incredibly nervous, but it's going to be awesome.

As for what this means for my thread presence, I don't entirely know. For one, my time zone is going to be entirely inverted with respect to sleep schedule, but that'll just effect the when. I'll probably also be busy with projects and sightseeing and whatnot, so I won't exactly be swimming in free time. Our house will have internet, so at least I don't have to go to cafes or try and steal it from neighbors with lousy passwords. I think I'll just have to lurk a lot more, and only post once or twice a day when I can. I'd like to make time for writing when I'm over there, so if nothing else, you guys'll get updates on that. And now I'm starting to ramble again, so I'ma just wrap this up.

tldr: Going to Japan for half a year, I'll likely be scarce around these parts.

I was thinking ponies transformed by Tzeentch/Slaanesh, leaning towards the latter since Discord is involved (heavily) with the former. The Changeling's whole shtick is that they transform into somepony else and feed off of feelings. While the look of a changeling is definitely something a ponified Nurgle would come up with, those powers aren't.

...Though that reminds me, I need somepony in this list to fall to Nurgle... I've got Khorne, at least two Tzeentch, probably will do Slaanesh for this one...

Indeed, my fevered mind was going to put Candace as the Slaanesh follower, formaly a normal earth pony (albet a child of Celestia) but now a faux-alicorn ( speaking of that, that might be a calling card for hir most powerful followers: Blueblood is already a hidden horror) with the power to make anything love something, and that includes her.

Well, technically it isn't quite spectacular. I mean, more or less it's just another person, and especially in regards to stories of whatever kind, since he, as far as I could gather, writes music. Thanqol's already showed himself to be a good author, so it's only natural that a new story of his would be read by a lot of people.

Despite that view on the matter however, it's still a person rather important to creating the show we know and love, and on top of that, whether or not he's a good story writer he's still a well-established person of significant skill, so his comment naturally rates much higher than that of a random person on the Internet, especially among us.

Actually, Balmas, thinking about it, your estimate of Big Mac's strength is probably a bit low. Pony size estimation (through measurement of relative size verses other things) puts them smaller than full-sized real-world ponies (strictly speaking, they are about the size of the smallest breeds of Shetland ponies), at about two-and-half-feet at the shoulder, making them, indeed, "little" ponies and falling into the "small" category in D&D. (Thus their carrying capacity is actually balanced out at the same as a medium biped.)

You might argue Big Mac verges on Medium, but in any case 59 is probably something of a minimum Strength score...

If he's smaller than medium, the house is also proportionately smaller. If I were to guesstimate the house at around 12x12, then the target number changes to 72900. Divide that by four three times, and it drops to 1237--again, within the 29 Strength bracket. He still winds up with 59 Strength, though with a greatly reduced carrying capacity.

The thing about him carrying things is that while he can pull quite a load ( He was pulling a cart with at least three mares in Luna Eclipse, and that was just the smallest thing we have seen him shove or pull around) and was capible of hauling houses in his wake, that single cake was a issue for him. My guess is that it was quite literaly dense with richness, hence it being painful to move no matter what he could do.

Also, on cats: we could assume that she could just use some of that wonderful magic she has to lift all the little hairs and fibers off the ground and simply ball it up and throw it in the trash. Some sort of mass levitation/ cleaning spell involving very small objects ( like, for instance, bobby pins or pieces of hair) would not be out of her range, presumably.

Huh, I knew short haired cats are bad (my cat happens to be short haired), but I didn't know they were worse than long haired breeds. I always just assumed more hair = more mess.
