Pokemon: Successors of the Forgotten (IC)

"We're taking him to the rangers, he was abusing his pokemon, this little guy was so terrified of everyone that it fainted when he introduced himself," she says, indicating the held torchic, "that's the entire reason we're here."

[Regalus]

Damien reluctantly recalls his pokemon and hands the man his pokedex. After hearing Autumn explain, he decides to add his two cents, " I'm the one speaking on behalf of his abused pokemon. So, it's important I can give my testimony on their behalf to the proper authorities when he's arrested."

The guard fishes the mans pokedex out his back pocket.

'You expect me to believe that? That you kids have Ranger authority? Yeah, pull the othe... what?' You can hear chattering over his ear. 'Apparently Sigma says you have full clearance under his authority to head straight to the Fighter side. The Rangers will take this guy and his pokemon into custody at the PokeCenter. Are there any other pokemon of his than just this one?' He eyes the Aipom still out of it's ball with suspicion.

Russ feels like he should explain his part, since the others did. "I was told by my dad's friend Leonard to go find a group of kids coming from Celadon and escort them to the Saffron Pokecenter. When I found them, this guy was already unconscious."

"The Aipom, an Abra which teleported away, a Pikachu that ran off with its family, and a Surskit and Seedot which attached to two in our group. I'd also like to help this little guy recover from the trauma," Autumn explains as she returns her pokemon, "as long as this little guy's sleeping it shouldn't cause any trouble. The aipom is friendly enough, and the other two are in pokeballs already."

The man looks at Russ. "I don't personally care. Just be glad that Sigma seemed to take a liking to you guys."
He turns to Autumn. "We will get them returned to their trainer. Please head to the Fighter Center, and then head immediately to the Dojo. It's on the North west side of town." The man places a map on the desk and marks where the Fighter Center and Dojo respectively are, give you the paperwork to fill out, then presses a button under the desk. There is a buzz, and the door leading into the town unlocks.

You are clearly on the Psychic side of town. You can tell because of the fairly peaceful atmosphere, the very few people are talking out loud (though most seem very happy), etc. Some have groceries floating at their side, or other objects. Many of the buildings are quite colorful, and the roads are very clean and orderly appearing. In the distance, a large, bright blue and green building is visible. "Remember! Straight to the Fighter Side!" Emma nods and give you all a bit of a glare. Best to not get side tracked, though over here it appears very easy to do so. The Psychic Center is also visible, a bright white building that could be found from almost anywhere. In the distance the style quickly changes. Darker buildings, dirtier streets. Neither side has many motor vehicles, though you can hear a few in the distance.

Autumn nods, but her eyes are cold since he said anything about returning the pokemon, that was not going to happen if she had any say in it, no trainer can abuse pokemon and not lose their pokemon, they chose to go off to others, and one was so traumatized it would go unconscious from a loud voice, "lead the way ST." Autumn says, giving him a nickname for his nickname.

"I told you already, my name's SEISMIC TOSS! Though if you really want to shorten it, I guess you can call me by my birth name. It's Russ." Russ marches quickly along, straight into Fighter territory, almost barreling past anyone in the way.

[Regalus]

"Thank you for your help sir; have a nice day," he said cheerfully, as he walked out with the rest of the gang; struggling to keep up with ST as best he could. He was a bit take abcak by the town at first, but considering his hometown, he got used to it pretty quick. While he did want to get this over with and done as quickly as possible, he had a pang of reluctance; he didn't want to have to give the surskit away for it to end up Arceus knows where, but if that was what had to be done he couldn't do much else but follow the rules. Even if he didn't like some of them. That said, he'd try to make as good a case as he could to stop them from going back to the trainer.

As she entered the fighter's side of the city, Sylvia felt torn. On one hand felt at one being surrounded by martial artists and of the sort. On the other she felt disgusted by the surroundings, being raised in a clean and refined environment. especially since she was made to clean the dojo a number of times. "Why is this side so dirty?"

[Regalus]

"I'm guessing class divisions, and that infighting problem the gate keeper talked about; we'd best be careful," he explained with a slight frown as he literally witnessed the living conditions changing around him.

Russ checks the time, not wanting to be late for the next wrestling match as he rushes to the dojo. Man on a mission, that guy.

Someone snaps at Sylvia about the street sweepers having broken down before continuing on. The town quickly became noisier with the sound of people walking around and talking. The buildings here are a lot more scrunched together. Even ignoring the apparently abnormally dirty roads, it didn't seem all to pleasant, though by the looks of it this was the thickest the buildings got. In the distance the buildings get a bit smaller and more spread out, though they still have those subtle differences. Darker color, roughness from the brick not being well painted over. It was like a different town entirely. According to the map, you guys are about two or three blocks from the Center. You're glad to have it; it looks easy to get lost over here.

"Looks like we're almost there," he said commenting to no one in particular. To say that he felt uneasy without Aden by his side in a sector like this was an understatement; he was never a fan of crowded cities like this one, and the presentation only worsened it for him. He really wanted to get to where they were going as quickly as possible.

[Dragonsage]

"Then let hurry and get this over with." Sylvia continued moving through the city towards the fighter's side center.

"Right!" Russ runs through the city, heading quickly over to the Pokemon Center first, and then the dojo! Plus, he really should check in with Leonard.

As you enter the Center, it is clear that even if they don't take good care of the outside of their buildings, the fighters are more advanced than they seem at a glance. The center is a mix of a pharmacy and hospital, one side with specific medications (no potions, antidote, etc.) and the other appears to be a waiting room, though people are quickly entering and exiting. Everything is very efficient looking. "Hey, can we help you? You're blocking the doorway!" A tall man shoves past you and heads towards the woman who was yelling over to you, then quickly moves to the waiting room.

SEISMIC TOSS moves to the lady. "Do you know where Ranger Leonard is? I was told to escort these kids here."

[Regalus]

Damien eyed the center curiously. It was certainly a lot more...frantic then the one back home or over in Celadon. He wondered what could've caused so many people to bring their pokemon in; given what he'd seen of the city, he wouldn't have been surprise if there'd been a riot or something.

[Dragonsage]

Sylvia follows ST over to the waiting room and looks around, impressed that the center is actually pretty well maintained although a bit busy it seems. "Guess we can be rid of the low life." She commented to herself, glaring at the knocked out trainer.

[Esprit15]

"Ranger who? Dat guy ova' there?" she says, pointing to a man in a Ranger uniform. "He been here fa' an hour or so, jus' sittin' there. Freakin' me ou'! Tol' 'im to get ou' or I call the cops on 'im fa' loitrin' but he jus' laughs and says he waitin' fa' som'un and den he'll go, and it don' matta 'cause he's a Ranga." That accent...

The man waves. "You guys seem to be the people I was sent to wait for." He shows you his badge to prove that he is indeed a Ranger and not some weirdo taking passed out teenagers. "And we'll be taking his Pokémon as well. If they were treated as you reported, they will be confiscated from him. Seeing as they bonded with you, they might be sent to you. Thank you." The man lets out a thin, grey, humanoid Pokémon, which heaves the boy over its back like he's as light as a bag of salt. He takes each of your numbers to inform you on the results of things with the boy, then turns to the woman from before, saying something about getting him healed for questioning.

"Uh... hey Mr. Ranger, you know where Leonard is?" No, seriously, where is the guy? Ah, he'd better not be off to the wrestling match without Russ!

"Can i make a request?" Autumn asks, "his torchic is seems to be terrified of people, I would like to try helping in its recovery. The little guy just seemed so scared of him," she says, holding the little bird pokemon, though not stopping the ranger if he takes it, "the little guy lashed out when one of us got close to it, probably from fear, I only got close after it fainted from his introduction."

The man calls back as the boy is admitted. "He mostly does things in Celadon. That's his area. We can't be everywhere."

"We have a few Empaths on call. He'll be fine. If you're worried, I can give you the number for the station that they'll be keeping him." The woman wrinkles her nose at the word Empath. "Sorry, no disrespect."

Russ sighs. "Ah, well, let's go to the dojo!" He starts rushing out the door, to the dojo!

[Regalus]

Damien scans the pokemon with his pokedex after reluctantly handing the surskit's ball to them. " I can attest to that; be sure to be careful with them, the poor things have been through a lot. If there's anything we can do to help with them or the case, you got our numbers,"

"Thank you," Autumn says, bowing to the ranger slightly, "should we remain in town in case you need a testimony or are we free to go about?"

She scans the pokemon he had before he leaves.

[Dragonsage]

Sylvia takes out Kabuki's pokeball looks at it for a moment before holding it out before the ranger. "I can tell you that his pokemon would rather be with us than with him. Personally I think it should be their choice."

[Esprit15]

The man has already entered the door and didn't hear. The Pokémon that if you scanned it identifies at Medicham sends a message, however. You will be telephoned if any further information or testimony is needed. Meanwhile, I am sorry, but it is simply the law. Pokémon with sub-human intelligence, and as a Pokémon I can attest that such a thing exists commonly, have no legal rights, and even us only some. Again, if he is found guilty they will be removed from his custody and likely sent to you, depending on factors such as time with trainer, specific treatment, and so forth.

If you have your Pokémon healed, they are done within ten minutes. Very efficient.
