In any case, she picks out a pair of pants with a charm attached to them allowing her to control her hair color, along with a few other things, before heading off to change:

Callie bounces excitedly.

Polly giggles happily, grinning at her.

"So, more blue in the future then? Or more skin?"

Her voice, while still soft, and a touch strained, at least manages to come above a whisper, so it would seem she's starting to heal.

Callie grins.

Polly goes to hug her, smiling.

"Thank you. And in that case, maybe I should dye it, so I can do both at once without trouble?"

She shrugs.
Not unless you really want to, I dunno.

Polly blinks, looking somewhat surprised.

"Is that actually an option, then?"

There's, like, every option in the Nexus. You can get robot ankles, marry a magic space pixie, build a house out of asparagus...

"Why would one need robot ankles? And wouldn't a pixie be kind of small for things to work well?"

Robot anything is cool.
And I'm sure having a tiny fey marital partner is workable with magic and science and stuff these days.
She shrugs and giggles.

Polly nods thoughtfully, giggling as well.

"I guess... Dunno. What are pixies actually like, anyway?"

Callie shrugs.
Uhh... small? I dunno, I'm not married to one!

Well, Maph is going to find himself getting tossed into the air half-way through his jeer. The Doctor sort of pushes him away but without any real force to it, knowing the little dragon-thing can fly. Turning away, he runs a hand through his hair as he examines his surroundings. Running here he'd been rather pre-occupied on his sonic screwdriver and his TARDIS, so he hadn't really gotten a good look at where he was.
"Now then, where am I... Oh! I know! I'm in a mall!" Breaking out into a grin, the Doctor suddenly turns back to face Maph. "Yes, I want the TARDIS back. Of course I want the TARDIS back, what kind of stupid question is that? And I'm going to get her back and you're coming with me because I don't very well trust you on your own."

The weird critter is thrown!

He tumbles through the air a few feet before doing a bit of wriggling and makes sure that gravity is distracted with making sure that little kid's ice cream splats on the floor properly rather than paying any attention to Maph's antics.

"Well! Since you're asking so politely how could I ever refuse? Of course I'll help you get your TARDIS back. Just a matter of tracking it through space and time! And given how riled up space and time are around here that should be all sorts of simple!"

Maph begins bobbing along behind the Doctor as the journey continues!

"My usual game doesn't work here, in case you're wondering," he comments conversationally. "Tried it already. What a mess that was! The whole place fragmented, modified, and reintegrated itself. Undid everything I tried to change. Shame, too."

[Lady Serpentine]

"We should find one and talk to them!"

Apparently, some of Callie's harebrainedness has rubbed off on her...

[Beans]

[AT]
That's a totally reasonable idea by Nexus standards.
Callie nods, immediately looking around as if there'll be a pixie within five feet.

[Lady Serpentine]

[AT]

Which still makes it fairly insane.

Well, there might be. This is Mallside, after all. Why wouldn't there be pixies shopping there?

Though if there is, I'd prefer you be the one to play it.

[Beans]

Perhaps! However, that'll have to wait until I returns; Callie deadtimes, bouncing as usual.

Polly giggles at her friend's antics, alternating between watching her friend and looking for pixies.

[Beans]

[AT > Mall]
She'll pay for the clothes and take Polly out into the mall on a pixie hunt!

Polly mentally notes down the cost again, and then follows her friend out, listening for little fae heartbeats, and otherwise using her vampire abilities to try to find them.

Callie follows, ears perked in interest.

Eventually, Polly hears what she thinks might be one, and sets off after it!

They'll find a pretty young woman about the size of Callie's hand, then!

"Must have something to do with, y'know, robots." Eileen snarks, exiting the changing room wearing something like this.

"Needs, what are you talking about? Inside is perfectly fine! There's no shoggoth attacks, either! And Magtok is totally alive!" Tracey says. Then Eileen comes out, and Tracey barely keeps herself from facepalming. "So, what, black is the new grey? Okay, okay, it's an improvement, but would it kill you to wear some colour?"

Needs goes silent when corrected. Trying to make sense is hard, Tracey! Can't you just ignore the weird bits, and only attempt to make sense of the ones that sound a bit more intelligent, like everyone else does?

"Green. Green is definitely a color."

Yes it is. But Eileen could probably make even a bright neon green look lame and drab, couldn't she?

The pixie jumps, and spins around, frowning.
