Argyle looks through the wreckage intently.
"Valen, evac's arrived. Unit will be entering shortly.

Getting up in a smooth motion, Argyle moves to the exit bays.
"Anex, turn the ship for jump."

As soon as Argyle has a clear jump to the ship's newest hole, Argyle will jump, using his jetpack to guide himself as neccesary.

Watching the ship slowly turn away, Volsung starts talking to Valkyrie again. "Thats no longer an option. Our evac just left and is currently heading towards Leads's position. So either tell me how to get to objective 3 or the best route to the Major."

Anex takes control of the Phantom and starts putting the ship into position for Argyle to jump. Everything happens very smoothly since he is already getting used to this alien vessel. Just when he is ready to tell Argyle he can jump over, the controls make a jerking movement to the left and the ship moves with it, barely evading some debris Anex hadn't seen before.
[Gníomhaire] Watch out, spartan, it is not clear here, I suggest you move over there.
Anex hears in his speakers as a new dot appears on his HUD not far from where he was.
Completely focused now, he moves the ship to the indicated point.
Argyle, you're clear to jump.

Argyle grunts as he is jerked by the sudden position shift.
"Acknowledged. Unit Jumping."

Taking a short running start Argyle jumps to the remains of the engine bay, jump pack at full burn.

[Thump]

"Merda, merda, MERDA!"

The swears being hissed under Ceara's breath are barely audible, though one can still tell that she's more than a bit irritated at her current situation. Tapping into her UGPS, she checks the quickest routes to get from the bridge to the rear of the ship, where Objective Two would be.

"I'm checking the maintenance/engineering hallways now, it's unlikely that we'd be able to get through due to the damage, but it's a possibility."

Volsung, Drake, & Ceara

"I cannot override a direct command, Spartan... you know that. Therefore, I am calculating the quickest route to V21 now. Ivory Three is requesting a similar diagnostic analysis of the ship's structure - combining the directives now."

A series of lines appear within Ceara's HUD, aligning with the corridors and architecture of the Summer Storm's interior. Your UGPS beeps and isolates a series of hallways and ducts from the mess of crisscrossing angles to show just those labeled for maintenance. You can see that the majority of them would do no good, and many were indeed far too damaged to net a quicker route. However, it did appear that the central transportation rail shaft was still intact... until about 100 meters shy of the Engine Bay. If enough power could be routed to the mag-lift systems, the train could get you there in next to no time at all.

Anex

Once you give the All Clear, Argyle jetpacks his way towards the massive crater in the side of the ship. When he was far enough away from your Phantom, you put some distance between you and the still-spinning wreckage to get clear of any potential danger. You kept the plasma thrusters burning for a moment, until your speed matched that of the careening Corvette, and cut them to reserve what was left of the cells in case you needed them. Your momentum, without the drag of air resistance, kept you flying abreast of the Summer Storm... ever closer to that asteroid field.

Argyle & Sapphire Team

You maneuver your way through debris and twisted spindles of metal that protrude this way and that from the hull breech. Looking around, you are having a difficult time discerning what anything was before it was hit, but eventually you find purchase on a section of flat space that appears to have been a corridor. After getting your bearings, you figure out that you are not far from one of the entrances to the Engine Bay and race towards it. When you arrive, you find more mayhem and destruction but no sign of Sapphire Team. You begin picking through pieces as you make your way deeper into the ship, kicking aside plasma-scorched hunks of steel. Up ahead at a corner junction, you see a black and red Hayabusa helmet - the one belonging to Dante. However, as you rush closer, you see it is only half of a helmet and inside it... a substance that you are only able to identify because of your extensive training; that of flash-boiled blood. You see no other sign of X666 anywhere, but there are plenty of areas of the ship nearby that are now completely open to space.

"Over here!", you hear from down the bend in the hallway. Looking past the rubble-choked passage, you think you can see a slipspace drive with two armored legs jutting out from beneath it.

[Thump]

"Alright, we've got something."

Switching her COMM channel to speak to Valen, she quickly details the plan.

"Ivory Three to Onyx One; I have a plan to get you quickly; the central transportation rail shaft is still intact. It doesn't have power, though, so we'll need a way to restore enough so that we can rendezvous with you. We could redirect any power from the engine to the rail, but that's not my thing. Ivory Four should do you some good there if he's still up and kicking, but I can't see much from here."

[Erik Vale]

"Valkyrie, Evidence of Sparten Death, Dante."
Even in his second person, Argyle's voice is subdued. Continueing his search Argyle perks up at hearing Valen's voice.
"Onyx 1 Located!"

Argyle moves over to Valen quickly, his steps surprisingly nimble and quick in the 0G environment.
"Onyx 3 here... Brace to lift the slipspace drive."
Quickly, Argyle moves to where he can get the best leverage on the slipspace drive, preparing to lift it. Part of his mind notes that he simply needs to lift it just a little and then he can let go.

[DoctorFaust]

"If that's the case Valkyrie, Drake, can you take Doc back to the Dawn Evader while Ceara and I finish up here?" Volsung asks. Driving the point of the brute shot into the wall, he rummages in one of his chest compartments until his hand encounters an AI chip. Pulling it out quickly, he checks to make sure that it contains the correct AI before proffering it to the golden spartan.

Volsung, Drake, & Ceara

Drake takes the AI from Volsung and turns it over in his hand for a second.

"I will, Captain. There's just one thing... where is the Dawn Evader located?"

Valen also replies to Ceara, "No sign of Ivory Four yet, but Onyx Three is here now. As for power, you'll either have to hack into the system from the Bridge or get the resident AI to do it from whatever terminal you're trying to use."

Argyle & Sapphire Team

Argyle comes upon Valen, just as he is broadcasting his response to the rest of Crimson Team, "No sign of Ivory Four yet, but Onyx Three is here now. As for power, you'll either have to hack into the system from the Bridge or get the resident AI to do it from whatever terminal you're trying to use."

The Major was pinned down pretty good, apparently unable to get any amount of leverage from beneath the slipspace drive. As Argyle lifts the thing the littlest bit, Valen gets his hands underneath of it and helps remove it the rest of the way. Luckily... the gravity gyros in this sector were knocked out by that last plasma shot, enabling you to move the heavy object with relative ease.

"Thanks. Any sign of the rest of Sapphire?", he asked. Looking around, you see nothing more of Dante than you already found and nothing of James at all. You don't think you see anything of Jason either, but then you spot gloved fingers sticking out from beneath a large piece of intact sheet metal across the expanse of the breech.

[Thump]

"Right, then. Can you get Onyx Three on the comm so he can walk me through this? We're not gonna stall with escorting Objective One to the Dawn Evader."

She quickly scurries over to one of the hopefully-intact computers in the Bridge, and shrugs her shoulders.

Hell if I know what I'm doing here...

[Erik Vale]

Argyle looks around as he moves the slip-space drive, moving it against a wall so that it is immobile.
"No sir, This unit is having trouble linking suit's, but as reported there is evidence of the death of sparten Dante. Overlaying IR now."

Ioach brings up Argyle's infared vision while he tries to get Argyle's suit to link with the various suits of Sapphire team.
However just gefore IR comes up, Argyle notices the gloved hand.
"Gloved hand, over here."

Argyle moves his hands around the sheet of metal, moving to lift it in a manner that is not going to put any pressure on the downed sparten if possible.

Then he he's Ceara's Voice.
"Gnomere, assist Ceara with the ships computers."

[Erasmas]

Volsung, Drake, & Ceara

After receiving directions to your ship, Drake runs off into the dark towards the aft of the Summer Storm in possession of the AI.

Meanwhile, Ceara and Volsung return to the Bridge and T97 brings up a terminal and readies herself for instruction. You then hear Gnomere's voice in your ear, Ivory Three, first you will have to access the Power Grid, located under System Controls. Once you find it, you will have to isolate the circuit structure that facilitates the functions of the rail system. Overriding it with be a little bit more complicated.

The timer for re-entry into Kainan's Belt rolls past the 4 minute mark.

Argyle & Sapphire Team

Valen slowly gets to his feet and collects his scattered weaponry. You pick your way over towards where you saw the hand and peek beneath the piece of metal - it appears to be E507, the one called Jason. As you shove the broken chunk of debris aside, you can see that he is unresponsive and it is difficult to tell if he is even still alive.

Anex

Anex watches the timer for re-entry into Kainan's Belt roll past the 4 minute mark. He then realizes that the Dawn Evader is docked with the outside of the Summer Storm... and very likely will be in danger of being torn away from the coupling and sustaining a lot of potential damage if she stays tethered to the coupling.

[Thump]

Looking through the files, she tries to find the Power Grid, but fails in a most spectacular fashion; not only does she fail to find that, but she fails to find said System Controls.

"Rackum frackum... can't even figure out how to use this stupid... may as well blow it up if it weren't for the fact that I need this thing."

She taps into the comms again, finding Gnomere's voice.

"How the bloody hell do I use this thing? I have no training in this at all."

[Erasmas]

Volsung & Ceara

As Ceara pulled the keyboard tray down on the terminal, she broke one of its hinges and nearly pulled the damn thing out of the wall. Luckily, it seemed as though the wiring was all still intact.

Gnomere's voice came again, somewhat slower and more clipped than before. Find the icon on the interface marked as 'System Controls'. Once you access that, I should be able to bypass the security clearance protocol. Then find the one labeled as 'Power Grid'. Then 'Rail System'. Then, we'll go from there.

As one of the pieces of debris comes loose, the shift in pressure on the armored suit unpins a pair of circuts, allowing the flow of electrons to return to their rightful places, and a moment later, the voice of an AI cuts through the squad radio frequency.

...ry Four is down, life signs weak. Request immedeate support. Repeat: All Onyx/Ivory, come in. Ivory four is down, life signs weak. Request immedeate support. Repeat:...

"Onyx three is here, you may cease transmission."
Argyle smiles slightly as Ivory 4's life signs appear on his hud, weak as they are. He continues to move rubble, Iaoch bringing up common first aid routines, going over Jason's life signs to bring up best treatments, and preping the biofoam should it prove necessaries.

Breathing a sigh of relief as Ivory 4's AI begins blaring into his ear, Volsung sends a quick message to Onyx 3. "Do try and be careful, would you? "Twould be a bad thing if someone died due to our medical care."

About damn time you showed up. Casey called back to Argyle. I'm reading a suit breach under his left shoulder, and it looks like the suit auto-sealed around the debris. He hit his head on the way down, too, so he might have a concussion as well. 'Least the suit kept the damn bulkead from crushing us.

[Erik Vale]

"Can't do much for the concusion just yet. Bringing up his suit's schematics, I'm no engineer but I can do something."
"Don't ready for spot welds just yet. Breach is likely so biofoam neccesary. Casey, do you have link with any of the others suits? Dante is almost definately KIA but assistance as to the other's locations and status's would be helpful."
"Updating Valkyrie... Gnomere can you check to see if that there birdy happens to have some human usable medical suplies unboard, it's unlikely but sometimes they carry the damnedest things. I heard one even had a full first aid kit once.""

Argyle keeps shifting the rubble to get a look at Jason's shoulder.

Negative, external sensors are offline, probably a hardware failure. I'd have the damn thing running by now if it wasn't.

As Argyle clears more debris away, the point of injury becomes clear. Four inches of a piece of metal roughly two inches wide and a centimeter thick are protruding from Jason's back, just about at the fourth rib on the far left of his back, almost his side, with who knows how much more inside him. A quick scan would reveal that the Hydrostatic Gel contained in the armor began to leak, and clotted at the suit breach, maintaning atmospheric pressure within the suit, and likely saving Jason's life.

Guys, no pressure but 4 minutes before we enter meteorite space. And we need to get the Dawn Evader from this giant piece of rubble or we won't be flying home with her.

Argyle, Valen, & Jason

Argyle was able to fully clear away all of the debris from Jason and gently turn him over enough to see the problem clearly. That piece of shrapnel was close to having ended the Spartan's life; depending on its depth, it easily could've pierced his lung or even his heart. Luckily, as his vital signs checked out, neither situation seemed to be the case.

From the other side of the divide, Valen had pushed himself into a sitting position against the slipspace drive and responded to Anex, "Ivory Two, you are the only one with the means of reaching the Dawn Evader with any amount of speed. You need to undock her from that coupling or you're right... she'll be torn apart worse than we are. While T97 is jacking around with the systems, get her to power up one of the port side docking bays and open the doors. You should be able to park her there and seal it back up."

Anex

Now rapidly approaching 3:30, Valen broadcasts back to you, "Ivory Two, you are the only one with the means of reaching the Dawn Evader with any amount of speed. You need to undock her from that coupling or you're right... she'll be torn apart worse than we are. While T97 is jacking around with the systems, get her to power up one of the port side docking bays and open the doors. You should be able to park her there and seal it back up."

It looks like you are going to have to ditch one vehicle for another soon. And with the UNSC ship still being docked, you would probably have to get Valkyrie to open the cargo bay door and spacewalk your way into the Dawn Evader that way.

Copied. Ceara, be ready to open the docking bay when I call for you. Valkyrie, can you open the cargo bay door? I'm coming in.
Anex broadcasts as he turns the Phantom to fly towards the Dawn Evader

Anex

After a moment, Valkyrie replies, "Roger that, Spartan 544. I have you on approach."

[Thump]

"Alright, I've got access to these files. I'll power up the docking bay on your go."

Tapping a series of buttons at Gnomere's commands, she attempts to gain access to most of what she needs.

[Erasmas]

Volsung & Ceara

This time, Ceara finds the route that Gnomere guides her through with only the smallest of issues and soon, the power has been restored to the the central rail system. While she was at it, she also fills the request of Anex... remotely linking the execution of the process to her HUD, so that she could finish the task on the go.

[moomoo]

Anex puts down the Phantom, checks his oxygen level and moves out of the Dawn Evader to undock her from the remains of the Summer Storm.

[Erik Vale]

"Damn, we can't really move him and we can't manipulate the spike but we'll need to move him for treatment."
"Seal the leaks. It hasn't got full penetration so we just need to ensure it can't enter further. Onyx one, have you located any other Spartans?"

Iaoch will use mending on the suit, using as many as neccessary to ensure no further damage.
Argyle will also look to separate the shrapnel from anything it may be attached to.

"No, nonononono. Don't take out the shrapnel unless you have a good chuck of bio-foam on you. We don't want him to bleed out, but make sure it doesn't slide in further either"
