    Pedivere grunted as the bolt pierced him. What the? he cursed. These creatures did not seem to want to let them go. This whole place was just a bizarre, abysmal place, the creatures were obviously deserving of living here.

    Pedivere's axe and Bishop's bullets strike true, bishop's bulle piercing the creatures chest. and Pedivere's axe splitting it from head to stomach.

    Vash's sword slices through the already injured steelskin, with next to no effort.

    The creature in front of thar flinchs as he meets it's eyes, and instead steps over the dead body of his companions body and attacks vash.

    the one that was heading for pedivere starts running in the opposite direction, towards a tunnel leading away from the group.

    Cael stands still unsure of why it is happening.

    the creature misses vash narrowly it's blade flying past his ribs.

    Vash effortlessly cuts down the additional assailant and then quickly moves to block the tunnel. Wooooohhh now.... hold up little man. We have some talking here, you and I.

    By the map, the tunnel at the top is only 5ft wide, Vash should have just enough movement to block it perfectly.

    Pedivere wiped the blood from his axe, his face frowning. He hated violence against those that were undeserving of it, and he was sure that these creatures weren't deserving of the death just brought to them. He shook his head sadly and continued on his way, back to the Wolf settlement.

    I am going to the Wolves. Leave them Vash, they are defeated.

    Bishop reloads his gun "For being so small they sure are a vicious little lot aren't they? As for heading for the wolves... well I have a sneaking suspicion that we will have to go through this tribe so it would be best to finish that one off so we can at the very least have a fresh start with the next batch."

    Bishop shakes his head "No, I do not want to kill ALL tiny people, just any survivors from this group since they witnessed the unfortunate events.     I'm not about to slaughter him in cold blood. Plus, further sentries are bound to wonder why the perimeter guard didn't address this.

    He does however, need to understand that this could have been avoided and it was their aggressive actions that lead to this course.

    We were prepared to leave, and with only the minimal harm of a few bruises on the one I first struck. They lashed out at us as we attempted to withdraw.

    Unable to effectively communicate with the sentry, Vash tries to use body language to gesture that he wants it to release it's blade.

    If it does so:
    Vash will check it for any other weapons before releasing him. He will then collect up one of each of their swords, crossbows, and a quiver of bolts. To the hells with this place. Pedivere is right. We need to find out what these wolves have gotten us involved in. You can choose to take this tunnel or not; however, know that I'm locking and sealing this door.

    Anyone that decides to go through the door to the gnomes side can; then Vash reseals it, using the small sword as a wedge to jam the locking mechanism once it's locked.

    As you walk back along the corridor, vash quickly jamming the door shut and carching up. You arrive back at the ladder, you begin to climb the white light seems to have disappeared as you near the top. The inside of the temple now stands deathly quiet, which is even more unnerving then children's warped laughter. You finally begin climbing, andfind the demolished village. A few wolves still walk around,but many seem to have vanished.

    Bishop grimaces at the sight of the village feeling a slight tinge of guilt for being unable to fulfill the wolves request. "Looks like we were not the only ones to run into a spot of trouble eh? Well lets find who we're looking for then and if we're able to we should head back down and deal with this other feller."

    Pedivere grunted. He looked at the village with confusion. They had only been gone a short period of time. Then the wolf they had spoken to previously appeared and declared that the quest had been a success.

    I didn't go down into that temple, he said the word with more than a little cynicism. for reward. I went down because there was a need to stop the evil. Though I am not sure that the worst is over. And saying that, if there is a war coming, I do feel that I am under equipped for it. If you could find your way to equip me better then I would not say no.

    That in mind, if you have a suit of magical full plate to fit me with spiked gauntlets, a Cold Iron Greataxe and a Wand of Cure Light Wounds, then I would be most appreciative and in your debt.

    I have to agree, we are grossly under equipped for what likely lies ahead. He thinks about the offer for a second. Then unslings his sword and sheath. I've always wished for this to be a proper Elven blade. It was made in their style, but it lacks their refined craftsmanship and arcane endowments. I've also heard of bags or backpacks that can hold more than their size should physically permit. If I could have one of these such haversacks to hold our equipment in, it would help greatly. If that is asking too much, then possibly just the haversack and some kind of token or ring that can offer some protection.

    Bishop puts on a grim face as he examines the ruined town Sweet Sarenrae, what the hell could have done this... I am glad we didn't run into it that's for damn sure. We should get as far away from this death trap as soon as possible before we all die.

    Pedivere listened to the wolf speak of the fight with the necromancer Ruin. He shook his head and turned to the girl. You are a seer? What can you tell us of this Ruin? And why does that other Necromancer want you. What are his schemes?

    Vash, still beat and exhusted from the bolts that hit him finds a shadded spot and sits down to rest.

    I have a better question... What in the hells is that place? Its surely no temple of any kind... unless it's to pay homage to the elemental chaos. And whats with the cavern below it and the annoying little grey things that live there? Hostal little bastards have some mean crossbows. Feels like I just ran through a friggin briar patch.
