There's only one "l" in the name of the afterworld Dave shares Clarissa's reign over.
And while I've got your attention *pokes to Beachside*!

@C'nor
Just read your Trium-Spec post thing today, so I thought I might as well respond here since this post has already opened and I need to clean out my pm box here pretty soon. Anyways...
If there was no "expiration" to that protection spell, then it'll become a permanent magical fixture once I cook up Spec's character sheet.
I agree that they do need to discuss the selling of the forest-cave thing, then. Shall they chat in Trogs or BDD or in the Home thread?Last edited by The Alexandrian; 2012-06-14 at 04:47 PM.

Re: [Nexus] OoC 32
Um, with the mechano-panthers I'd like to add that they not only go after people, but also body parts that come off of them. An example is Jit's eye. If it were to fly somewhere other than the Main Room, it'd be hunted down.

The eyes are still attached to his head, but they're extreme future tech (which is why they can see through the back of his head and record what he sees).
Also, there goes my plan for infiltrating AMEN with a flying spleen. Why, you ask? Why not, I say.I follow a general rule: better to ask and be told no than not to ask at all.

Re: [Nexus] OoC 32
If I poof tonight, it's because the Stupid Connection Tricks have gotten stranger. It was dropping most of the afternoon; now while the connection is up, about half the web is intermittently cutting out (so far GitP keeps loading fine, but half the time it never gets past 'looking up...' then 'Timed out' for Enup (and Jayski.com, and Wikipedia's image server, and even the Is-it-up site...!))...I love living in the country!

Re: [Nexus] OoC 32
I know. But I sent her a PM asking what I should say, so I'd assume that, even if she doesn't care, she'll at least send me something saying so...
No particular expiration, no.
And I think Home would probably work best, since Trium, at least, would prefer a private location in case they get into a fight over it. Maybe Sparrow's Fall?

Re: [Nexus] OoC 32
Alright, to Home it is, then! Could you post first, as, while I do seem to remember the general atmosphere of Sparrow's Fall, I'd be stumped if asked to poetically describe any of it, as it isn't my location and I can't yet visualize the layout.

To Theater Plot folks.
Upon review of the Inside thread this morning, it would seem that I neglected to recount the next portion of the combat segment. >.< I think I might've started writing the post about all that during a power outage at the hotel the night before last, and scattered it to the wind when the router and lights went down. I'll try to get that up later tomorrow morning in a couple of hours here.Last edited by The Alexandrian; 2012-06-14 at 11:24 PM.

Re: [Nexus] OoC 32
Deadtime now. Goodnight, sleep tight and don't let the Huntail bite.
Also, there's a book in a park in Inside, should somebody wish to encounter a D20 Artefact. And not just any D20 Artefact; a D20 decides the book's title, and a D4 decides what that book imparts to its reader; predominantly knowledge, but one title has a physical effect on the reader's body rather than one on their mind.Terrowin Avatar by HappyTurtle. Re: [Nexus] OoC 32
As far as the Investigation Plot I have started, anything is a go for it. I plan on a potentially large amount of people possibly getting involved as victims begin to pile up, and I can adapt to most anything being tossed about.

Re: [Nexus] OoC 32
Indeed I did. Clarissa basically released the undead rat-thing and checked over her boots to ensure that a splash of blood soiling them wouldn't be that much of a tragedy. She is going to trail it wherever it leads now!

Re: [Nexus] OoC 32
I was originally planning on having the plot inside the HALO thread (because it takes place in...HALO?) And if it picked up and got more involved, move it to it's own special wittle thwead.

Re: [Nexus] OoC 32
Earl, I've got a character picking up the book here.
Fair chance he'll get caught by the mansion mentioned in your sig at some point, if that is still going on.I follow a general rule: better to ask and be told no than not to ask at all.

Hate to burst your bubble Bookboy, but my oversized pixie character kind of got to it first.
A few posts up from yours, in fact.Julie, everyone's nth favorite succubus, by Gulaghar.
An amazing Misha, Mimi, and Riss painting done by Ofride.
For anyone in plots run by me, know that I always tailor solutions to those in the plot. The answer may not be obvious, but it's there, and doable by the displayed abilities of the present characters. If you need help or hints, I'll try to be available to provide them.

Curses. Do you know if the mansion thing is still going on? If so, I'll just reroute him there.

Re: [Nexus] OoC 32
From what I understand, it's a permanent fixture of Riverside that Earl runs as a plot from time to time when undead show up. You'd have to ask him if he's willing to run it again, but it's almost certainly a safe bet.

Re: [Nexus] OoC 32
You are referring to Earl's necromancer summoning undead to the mansion thing using bells in the Outside thread, right? I think that took place awhile ago, actually, so I'd check with Earl to see if he was still interested in rping that stuff and generally let him know I was posting there for him if he was. The necromancer was an odd fellow who seemed fun to interact with, even though I didn't have any undead to send off to the mansion at the time the necromancer was a more active character than he is now.

Re: [Nexus] OoC 32
I just found this useful site and figured people who game more than me will also find it useful. It's called Can You Run It?
Also, I have the vague feeling that I've forgotten to post somewhere, so poke me if that's the case.
Also, who are we waiting on in Dalachrech? My avatar! Isn't it just utterly diabolical? Ashen Lilies made it!

Yeah, that site's pretty cool. It's how I found out that my laptop has better specs and graphics than my desktop. I knew it was pretty old, but not that old. O_o
