"It's not the arm that makes you weak, you son of a *****, it's that foolish head of yours," Hour Tales growls loudly along with Laughs. "I saw you twist that blade. That was beyond the duel and uncalled for!"

Deep Fang ignores Laughs growls, and speaks to Hour Tales.

"Did you not hear me offer her to yield when I disarmed her? She choose to continue. I could have killed her with this weapon Hour Tales, quite easily. Instead I ended the fight without killing her. Don't lecture me Jason. Perhaps the worst of me, yet I am only defending myself. She challenged me. Not the other way around. Whatever that has been done to your mind has clouded it of the truth."

In the distance you see Spray Can and Cries Loudly running towards the clearing.
"Walks the Walk, stay here and make sure she's okay. Everyone else, let us leave before another fight is started."
With that, Deep Fang leaves with his pack behind him. Walks the Walk approaches and attempted to re-bandage her wrappings while using Mother's touch

As Soft Paws slowly regains consciousness, Cries Loudly yells at her like a frightened mother. "What were you thinking? A Klaive Battle? Do you know how luck you are to be alive? Garou die all the time from such battles. It was foolish of both of you. But I expected you to know better."

Pushed aside, marginalised and ignored for the third time that night, Lifa stands up and walks a bit away.

"**** moots..." she utters under her breath.

"I'm so sorry..." Softpaws begins slowly, blinking and holding her leg, "I really thought I could do it..."

"So you chose to injure her badly," Hour Tales continues to growl. "You chose to keep going with your blade when you knew you didn't need it. You were the one to go and twist the blade in her leg to make the wound worse. You say for me not to lecture you, but I won't be lectured by a sadistic wolf that feels that he most rule with an iron fist. The only one he still has, by the way..."

As you are helped up by the others, you can't help but notice it's still tender in your leg. More or less it feels like a badly pulled muscle. But the thought occurs that if she had not received healing so quickly, she likely would have a limp for the rest of her life, if not worse.

Now who's a coward? Hour Tales thinks as he watches Deep Fang storm off. He returns to where the wounded Soft Paws was taking, wondering about her condition.

"Soft Paws..." Laughs looked at her sadly. "I'm sorry. He was supposed to take out his anger on me. Not another."

"Are you all right?" Hour Tales says as he finds that Soft Paws is beginning to stand up slightly. "I should have challenged him when I had the chance," he whines softly.

"Hey, hey guys... It's okay, I can take it," the young Metis says softly. "I think I almost died. But, I can't follow him anymore. He's changed..."

"I know," Hour Tales says. "I just wish that it didn't have to happen like this. I should have challenged him at our own moot."

Laughs shook his head. Antoher day he would have said "told you so", but not this one. "So what happens now? He refused my challenged. You refused his challenge. You lost in your challenge. I think Spray Can has had enough, but the others will follow him. Do we leave them to die?"

"Provoke him into challenging someone, and that person chooses Gamecraft as the challenge. Deep Fangs as thick as two planks of wood, he'll fail miserably." a voice came from behind the group.

Laughs nodded in agreement. "An easy victory for sure, but who is he to challenge? He is Alpha."

I will point out, that the group is not alone. It's fair to say Walks the walk is no longer around. She healed Soft Paws and left her in the care of cries loudly. But Spray Can and Cries Loudly are standing right there.

"So I sadly have to agree that peaceful reintegration of the two packs seems unlikely. Perhaps a better strategy would be to let things cool down for a few days?" Cries suggests optimistically.

"Maybe..." Softpaws says skeptically. She doesn't seem quite up to full capacity yet.

"You guys know that won't fly. He's had a whole week and it's only made him worse." Lifa says.

"I agree," Hour Tales says as he stands with the others. "I know I shouldn't have tried to provoke him just now, but I was just so angry at him. He could have killed you, Soft Paws, and I almost don't think that he would have cared. He has become a tyrant, that's for certain. I don't want those new to his pack to be hurt by his one-Garou crusade against Wyrm forces. I don't know what to do about it, though."

Everyone remembers Spray Can is there again, as she speaks up for the second time ever. "Well you can't really force them to turn against him. If if you had that ability, it would make you no better than him. Your only option really is to lead by example. Hopefully they can overcome their emotions and see reason."

"I'm certainly not going to force them," Hour Tales whines as he turns his head to face Spray Can. "I'm talking about trying to talk them into leaving. That said, I don't think I'd be able to even get close after all I've said to him tonight."

"So are you offering a place in your pack to those that leave Deep Fang? Or is this still a attempt to subvert his authority?"She asks meekly.

"I'd offer a place in the pack for every single Garou here if I knew that we could handle leading so many people," Hour Tales says.

"Well add one more to your numbers. That guy scares the hella outta me."

"Welcome, Spray Can," Hour Tales says with a smile, offering his paw out to the newcomer.

Spray Can shakes Hour Tales hand, and as she does the group can hear shouting from the bonfire once more. The moot is about to start back up.
