He just sees her flying on her boulder and just pulls his sword with a lock on his foreleg.... Which would be actually really rare for him to do instead of telekinesis, then the sword is suddenly imbued in humongous amounts of pure dark power AKA a LARGE black fog with green and purple arcs, and as Barb's just close, he swings HARD, like, enough strength and power to possibly send it away, or block it, or not .... At least hoping it works since it's shimmerite and he doesn't know how strong Barb actually is
