Alright, then, find me a character who had dialogue in-comic prior to their first appearance, which was not until several hundred strips after their death.

This might be a bit of a stretch, but would Girard Draketooth or Soon Kim count? Since we have dialogue from both of them but not actually featuring either of them in person, gathered long before we saw either of them, and they both died hundreds of strips before they actually appeared (since they both died long before the start of the comic).

This question is apparently a bit more general than I was hoping for. I was thinking more specifically of a character who has dialogue visible to the reader in the online archives, but who the reader cannot actually see until quite a while after they are killed.

Hint: The character's only dialogue before the flashback in which they are seen involves greeting someone who promptly kills them off-panel.
