The tall, handsome drow known as Elkandar stumbles in, looking much more unshaven, bleeding from cuts, and depressed than usual. He looks around with bloodshot eyes at the two girls.

A young woman walks in, looking exhausted. The only spark to her is in her fierce emerald eyes. Her brown hair has been hacked short. Her leather armor has been cut to pieces and is only good for protecting her modesty now. Her face is caked with dirt and ash and sweat. Her arms are slightly burnt. She reeks of blood and sweat, demonic ichor and sulfurous hellfire. She stalks up to the bar and takes a seat, closing her eyes to rest for a second.

"Aaaah, hahahaaaaaaaa.


You look like crap."
Lumia says, laughing slightly.

Though, really, she has no right to judge. She's dirty, smells horrid, and the previously mentioned wings? (Draconic, by the by, and brightish purple.)
Have more than a few what appear to be arrow holes in the membrane, with dried blood around the edges.

She gets up and walks over to Lumia's table. Name's Catherine Smith. From the Iskian province. Anyway, this morning I was ready to marry the man I loved, a brilliant and amazing druid I had fought with for a year. I'm all set to walk down the aisle when my best friend, a sweet guy and a cleric to this God of Law, stands up with a crazy look in his eye. I knew he loved me first, but I was still surprised when he launched a spell at my fiance. I leapt in front of him to block it and then, all of a sudden, I was surrounded by hellfire. I spent most of the day running from and battling these damn ugly devils, only to get caught and tortured. And I guess it may have been anywhere from a few hours to all of eternity, but I suffered and suffered without any sleep or food, so I'll call it a single day. And then, all of a sudden, this redheaded angel appeared with a sword taller than I am! She cut through the devils torturing me and handed me a knife. The two of us fought our way out of all the circles of hell until she kicked upon the dark gates and led me into the light. I gave her her knife back and wandered until I came here.

"Well, I didn't get tortured, but I did get the fun of spearheading an assault into an enemy castle!
The archers on the walls really, really didn't like me."
She admits, looking back up over her shoulders at her bloody wings.
"Anyway, tossed about by mages, turned a corner into a line of pikemen--that was fun--, and eventually had to wrestle probably the biggest guy I've ever seen into the ground.

Of course, then the rest of the army showed up and took all the credit. But, you know.
Best day ever."

But then she hears Elk's comment, and chokes slightly.
"Wait.
I did what?"

For anyone paying attention; she and Ven went into the same room, neither of them came out, and the robe Lumia's wearing is fairly disheveled.

Work here! The drow spreads his arms weakly, giving her a half-smile. Employees are dropping- or at least disappearing- like flies.

Then she turns to grin at Elk.

Elkandar stands up and stretches. On the house, ladies! What's your fancy?

The way that came out emphasizes that Lumia is really, really tired. Not wording her sentences the best way, and all.
