Re: Ooze (Interactive)
=/
We probably could have approached the TV creature more politely in the first place but we couldn't set it on fire and he'd made it very clear that he'd have killed us if we hadn't left, so I'm not sure what else we could have done. =(
I feel bad that you're doing all these neat drawings for us but we're not giving you the answers you need.

Re: Ooze (Interactive)
You make a fair point Andre. I guess I got a little freaked out by our close brush with death (and therefore the end of the comics) that I just wanted to make sure we didn't do anything too reckless to get ourselves killed.
But as you say, over analysing everything has sucked some of the fun out of it, so while I'll continue to follow the strip, I won't put suggestions forward.
I will however reserve the right to facepalm if we die from doing anything really dumb. Or if we try to eat a bridge again. =P
My final suggestion: Go forth, embrace the joys and delights the world has to offer, make new and exciting friends!
Then eat them.

Re: Ooze (Interactive)
I have opinions about this.
There are a lack of people suggesting things as is. I've made more than one comic based off of a lone post. So I'll ask you to reconsider.
New extra special update, it glows in the dark! - Wander off / Look for something to hug
Spoiler
You wander aimlessly for several hours.
A bleak gloom envelops the landscape as evening sets in.
*Sigh*
You feel slightly grumpy at how un-grandoise your thrilling adventure actually is.
You're bored, tired and kind of hungry. You miss your field.
Well.. Maybe there's something over there?
There's something over there!
You've discovered the Luminous Pond!
You see a few things.
Most noticeably, the air in the glade is filled with pretty glowies. The water itself looks shallow and clear and there's a lonely stone sitting in the middle of it.Last edited by Tiffanie Lirle; 2012-11-23 at 01:27 PM.

Re: Ooze (Interactive)
I agree, try to see if the glowies want to frolic. If not, then try tasting one, it might make us even more light-making! ^_^
After that, try studying the rock, it could be an excellent spot for jumping, or the secret home of something!

Re: Ooze (Interactive)
That wasn't meant to discourage you or anyone else from posting, Succubus, just a personal observation. The more opinions the better.
My suggestion is to try and communicate with fishes (if any in the pond) and ask them if there any news from the other provinces.Last edited by Andre; 2012-11-23 at 06:29 PM.

Fire at water.
Maybe some big fishies will get hit by the heat and die and float on the water and we eat them.Despite everything, its still me.

Re: Ooze (Interactive)
A couple of thoughts - maybe we could use our small blue flame to mimic the patterns of the glowies? Could be fun to see what kind of responses we get.
Another thought - familiar with the angler fish? Could be a way to catch glowies.
A small drink from the pond might help as well if we're thirsty.

Re: Ooze (Interactive)
New small update, there are no fish in the pond - Frolic with the glowies
Spoiler
You hop through the glade, playfully chasing after a glowy. After a few moments they somehow end up chasing you instead.
You stop at the water's edge after several minutes with the glowies trailing loyally behind you.
They seem to like your flame.

Re: Ooze (Interactive)
Can we turn our flame on and off? If so, we should blink a pattern and see if the glowies respond.

Re: Ooze (Interactive)
Seconding the blinking experiment. The glowies seem very friendly and nice, perhaps we can communicate with them? :3
Or maybe they are insects of a sort, being attracted to light, but they might be fun insects. ^_^Treasured Quotes

Re: Ooze (Interactive)
Notice - This Monday's update will be done on Sunday. As I won't actually have time to do it then.
New update, the movie - Blink your flame
Spoiler
You lower your flame, extinguishing it temporarily
Almost immediately, the glowies sink to your center and hover slowly in a tight circle around you.
You feel a variety of sensations from the individual glowies as they make contact with you. You quickly notice that some of the glowies seem to be really warm (Red, Pink, Yellow) while the others (Blue, Green, White) emit a somewhat colder aura.
As your flame reignites itself, the glowies resume to hovering slightly outside of your personal space.

New update, you must be this tall to read - Attempt to train the glowies
Spoiler
You like the glowies and decide that if you're going to keep them, you may as well teach them a thing or two.
You're pretty sure you saw a boot-monster do this once.
