Oddly enough, she got what she wanted in the end, while the Hero was left walking the earth, looking for another fight, another meal, and being referred to by her best friends as "Destruction's poster girl".

And yes, I apologise for what Verossa's doing right now. She's quick-thinking, but not especially smart or wise.

@Wordplay: Are you talking about the CMW? You can hold it for as long as you want until you touch something, or you cast another spell (I think). So yes, I'm pretty sure the spell is gone.
The Elf refusing to be touched wouldn't have caused it to be lost though.

@All: How do you guys want to split the treasure? I presume we manage to loot at least some of it? Is there anything anyone particularly wants?

Also, it might be a good time to mention that we don't have items owned by the party written down anywhere, as far as I can see. For example, the tents, women's clothing, and bedrolls stuffed inside the bag of holding. I think we've also lost track of where the woodsman's tools are.

One way to deal with looted gold might be to put at least some of it into a party sink fund to pay for bribes, expenses, healing, etc...or we could just divide it up.

I'm fine with half going to a party sink and the rest being divied up, but a party funds is definately usefull.

I'm thinking about taking the shortsword, but it's not in good condition so I'm not really sure. We should definately take the second bag of holding though.

Just had a really interesting thought, I don't have the stats for Bags of Holding with me right now, but if we put all the bodies in the bag of holding... the all consuming fog, who we kill dissapears into it.

They turned off my electricity with no warning. Because here, they don't send you a bill. Your address has an account with the state power company which you access with a card. You put money on the card and when it runs out they just turn you off.

Off course, there's no way to check yr account details. Nor was this explained by anyone.

THEN they "repaired" the plumping in my building (which seemed to be working fine) so that my shower drain was blocked for two days.

Now that we've escaped, what's the plan?

@Marlowe: The Dwarf offensive was never in this area. It's happening the next day IC time at a location 30 miles North of where you are.
And the reason the camps are so empty is because about 90% of the troops have rushed North, following the Dwarves from the barricade you came through when they went North... I thought I had made all that clear, in here, when Verossa was having her insult match with the Dwarf that showed you guys the map?

You made it clear that offenseive was to the north, but we never got any sense of timing. I was working under the assumption it hadn't started yet.

Certainly the dwarf in the camp never said anything much about it.

As for the plan, we're supposed to be taking shelter in the Blossemwood. Only it's now besieged and none of us have wilderness skills. We might be better off staying mobile and hitting the siege lines hit-and-run.

@Marlowe: Talhruamy told you it was happening in 4 days (including the 1/2 day of the big gathering). You got to the barricade on the afternoon of the 3rd day, so yeah, you're half a day early but it's not like the army can turn and march all the way back in the next few minutes.

Does the amulet Tahlruamy gave us allow us to communicate that we're through? (Though I'm not sure we're through yet...) If we get through we should relay our position back so that the offensive can be halted. It would be great to achieve the result just through manoeuvre.

Yes the amulet allows you to contact Talhruamy from anywhere in the world (but not across plains) 3/day.
