Re: Pokemon: Successors of the Forgotten, part 3, Things just got serious (IC)
"I seem to have inherited my grandfather's bad luck with gambling," Autumn says with a chuckle, "I doubt I'll be doing much betting here unless the prize is really worth it."
The conversation then turns to dragons, "what about axew? I've heard they're friendly before evolving, but not much about how they are after they evolve," she asks, "I'm also interested in the effects of a dragon shifter on pokemon, they are the final prize at the battle hall, and I would like to know what I'm getting into before I grab one."

Sylvia scans the mini voltorb, seeing how she didn't have much of a chance to scan the ones from earlier. "Yeah, at least we manage to get our prizes." She commented as she realized Iris has been around Sienna for bit. "So, is there a place in town that could help with the behavior of one of my mons?"

'I don't use Sewaddle much, but I know a guy in Castellia who I visit often. He'd like it for some new inspiration. You kids ever in the area, I'll hook you up. He'll take you to the galleries and then show you the worlds best ice cream stand.'
SpoilerLevel 10, male, knows Ice fang.
'Ah, so you wantto hear about the other Dragons then, not just these ones? Well, Druddigon is always wild and a handful, but fun. Kingdra is prideful, always treat them with respect. Altaria are loving creatures. Flygon are inquisitive, so keep them out of trouble. And Haxrus... ' Iris drifts off, lookin into the distance. 'They are the best friends you could ever have. They'd give their lives for a friend. And they never give up, no matter what happens. In my opinion, the best pokemon one could hope for. But I'm sure you'd all say the same about your best friends, right?'
'As for shifting, I can't help you there. I still do it the old fashioned way, not with those chips. So I can't tell you if there is a difference. I'll say this though, with Steel, Dragon is the worst type to try and take down. And their breath powers let them have many varied moved to counter their weaknesses.'
'A place to get your natures change? Hmm, I have heard about the creepy fish salesman. He's the only one I know, but I've never met the man. Try asking for him. He specialises in selling rare water types, but he's generated a bit of a name for himself as a powerful psychic. If you want to meet him, go in a group. In this town, you never know who's trustworthy and who's not. And to be using psychic powers in this town...' Iris trails off there, letting you figure the rest out for yourselves.Last edited by IrnBruAddict; 2012-10-18 at 11:35 AM.

"Sounds like a nice place. Do you want to take the Druddigon now as well or later?
If you can get it not to attack on sight then there's a guy in Vermillion who specialises in giving abused pokemon technological replacements for any damaged organs and from what i could see when it was chained up the Druddigon would benefit from that."

"Creepy psychic fish salesmen..." Sylvia pondered about that as her words trailed off. She began to wonder how creepy the guy could be but then realized that the past few days since they left Celadon have been really strange, even by the standards of one who was raised by ninjas. "Yes, this city would warrant caution." Amelia then shock her head, signaling to stop scratching for now. "I'll check the guy out when the others are ready to go see him. Might as well check out what kind fish pokemon he has for sale while we're at it." She stopped scratching fox and allowed it to simply rest in her lap.

"I know what you mean, Lillian here is my first pokemon, she's never let me down," Autumn says, smiling rather than grinning, "so, how long will you be in Sienna?" she asks, curious.

Russ looks at his drink on the glass, shaking it around to let the ice inside jiggle. He felt really guilty about abusing Liam like that, but still thought he should have listened anyways. "Right! So we're all going to see the fish man? Hm... I could go for some fried Whiscash right now."
