"As for the book... well Jana deserves it as a token of her knowledge and abilities. I think she can maybe use it to start her own library of such things!"

After having split up the loot and parting ways with the priestess, LG will ask Jana, "So, what do you want to do with your share of the loot?"

"Buy some nice things for my aunt and uncle or maybe even buy a bigger house for us! How much do houses cost?" she asks.

[planswalker]

"About twice or three times what you have, but
if you save your cash from our next few adventures, you sure can. I don't think you should sell that wand. I believe you will find it very, very useful."

[Monodominant]

The girl considers your advise and nods.

"Okay. How do I save money? My aunt keeps some money insider her mattress but that doesnt seem like terribly safe!"

[planswalker]

"No, your best bet would be to open a line of credit with a bank."

[Monodominant]

She seems uncertain.

"A bank? Are those safe? What if someone robs it?" she asks you.

"I mean I guess its harder to rob them than rob our house but you are often in our house so its safer than your average bank!"

[planswalker]

"Modern Aldhaven banks do not keep large stockpiles of coin lying around. Also, can you tell me the last time someone robbed a bank in this city and actually got away with it?"

[Monodominant]

"Well actually yes!" she says.

"I remember a story about Encarne Du Guilen six seven years ago from what I read. He was one of those rabble-rousers in the city that kept speaking against the Nobles and the existence of the Noble Quarter wall. He disappeared for almost two years and it was off course rumored that someone got pissed of at him sprouting his nonsense and had him killed but he resurfaced when the Aldhaven Centurion Bank was burglarised and the funds stolen were used to fund his scheme of breaking into the noble quarter!" she says.

[planswalker]

"Uh-huh. And when was the last time someone's home was broken into?"

[Monodominant]

"Errr... I havent... -heard- of any house breakins lately!" she says with a vague attempt at trying to bluff you.

[planswalker]

"Yeah... don't bother lying when you know it won't work. If there were less than a dozen home burglary attempts last night, I'll pick all my scales off one by one."

[Monodominant]

The young girl shakes her head and sticks out her tongue.

"I dont think we should go around checking each Guardhouse and asking of the burglaries so I will take you on your word" she says with a flare of the theatrical not wanting to concede the point.

"So bank it is. I wouldnt mind also getting some rest and going to say hi to my uncle and aunt!" she tells you.

[planswalker]

"Indeed, such is wise." LG said, willing to be magnanimous.

"Now, then, let us find a bank." He says, heading to the mage district.

[Monodominant]

You arrive in the district and you remember that there are at least two major banks where most Mages from the University. at least those without access to their own extradimensional space, store their money.

[planswalker]

Not really caring which, LG will lead Jana to the closer of the two.

After Jana sets up her account and deposits her money, LG says, "So, now we have one final issue to tackle: how are we going to get you home?"

btw, any chance that Jana taking the potion of anti-longevity would physically age her? I'm not familiar with this kind of effect at all.

Er I was 100% sure I had replied to this! I had responded that yes off course, Jana drinking the potion would become older... thats what the 'broken' potion does! Ages you! Physically and all that!

"Easy enough! I can slip inside and go to bed and then in the morning I will suprise them!" she says with a smirk full of mischief.

"And what will you tell them about where you've been for the past week?"

[Monodominant]

Jana thinks for a single second and she has her lie out very quickly. You could have been convinced had you not know the truth.

"I was with the Sisters of Salvation, helping their cause to bring goodness to the heart of this city and support the poor and needy! I hanged out with a particular Sister, Sister Abigail and we were almost the entire time within the area the Sisters control" she says with an excellent poker face.

"Now that" LG says with a smile. "Is a very good lie." He'll give her a hug.

"Go back to your aunt and uncle while I take care of some business with an associate of mine."

As Jana scampers back off, LG will seek out Ahriman.

You find him in this offices in the University furiously writting down notes on a notebook. On your way there you feel for a second that you just passed next to someone but there are no traces of anyone there other than a swift displacement of air.

The professor looks up at you with a very intrigued look on his face.

[planswalker]

"Greetings, boss. Did you find something interesting? Can't help but see the look of curiosity on your face. Last time I saw that was when I learned a new draconic secret."

[Monodominant]

"This time I feel like I assume you felt by learning the draconic secrets. I was... well... I was gifted by seeing the impossible right before my eyes... a fusion that was the work of genius and madness at the same time. I am simply taking some notes to ensure I do not forget even a sliver of the information... I doubt I can recreate it at my current level of knowledge and ability but when the foundation is set it could revolutionise transmogrification and grafting!"

LG quickly recounts the events that have passed since their last chat.

"Well, boss, don't get me wrong, I love the whole "working for myself" angle you've let me pursue, but surely you have something you wish me to do for you?"

[Monodominant]

The professor listens to your story quite intrigued and also takes some notes this time.

"Truly marvellous... and it was just under our feet!" he says sceptical.

"In any case good job to you and to your apprentice. There is indeed something that should interest you that I have managed to uncover while you were occupied..." he says and smiles.

"You asked me if there were any dragons in the vicinity. Well... a contact of mine has volunteered the location of an abandonded dragon hoard... nothing major mind you but still greater than I would expect near here. The hoard itself was considered lost when a proud Silver dragon slew the White dragon owner of it... in the hoard there is rumored to be a particular trinket that I would be interested in and I have agreed with my contact that we can split the treasure in half assuming I get to keep my trinket regardless..." he says and pauses again.

"Now knowing my contact I suspect a trap somewhere down the line... you know what they say... too easy to be true. So I suspect someone or something is either also gunning for the hoard or is already there and given the nature of my informant I can bet it is draconic in nature... so I would like you to investigate further and well we can take it from there... should a dragon speciment be found there I will off course use it to further augment your abilities, plus a percentage of my half will go to you."

[planswalker]

LG grins wickedly. "As long as you can promise that I won't have to go through inane religious rituals to get there, this sounds like a perfect job."

[Monodominant]

He smiles and shakes his head.

"No, do not worry about that. Its rather straightforward I would say... but its not close as you can imagine... its a few days march till the mountains and there it is supposed to be at the bottom of an ever frozen lake. I should have a map for you ready by tomorrow. I would like you to set out within the next3-4 days as we are not in terrible hurry but also cant afford to waste time."

"Of course. My apprentice and I will be ready to depart in three days. If that is all for now, I will begin to make preparations for the journey."
