"Yes, but they all started with a true story, even if time manages to obscure what truth there was. Maybe you knew someone who knew him?"

"The truth is that the man was most likely a serial killer and murderer. He likely had some talent with divinations, which combined with illusory magic, explains why no evidence was ever found. The rest is fancy for how it could have happened."

[Techwarrior]

Note to self: Don't push elves

"Fair enough, I concede to your superior knowledge of the situation. Any idea when your next show will be? I'm taking a liking to theater. I remember a passing troupe coming through the village when I was younger, but I had chores to do and wasn't able to make it to the show."

Aandilar glances at Aveline, trying to gauge whether they should leave, or if he should be paying more attention to her.

I probably should have payed her more attention... I wish I knew more about this kind of thing...

[planswalker]

"We'll be here for a month. Shows every night."

Aveline seems to have grown bored with talking to the crazy old elf woman.

[Techwarrior]

"Well, thank you for the show, I hope to see another one here at some point. Good luck with your month of shows. Those actors will probably need it, that's a lot of acting."

Aandilar stands and bows to Mellie.

To Aveline
"Are you ready to go Aveline?"

[planswalker]

"Yes, I think so." she says politely.

[Techwarrior]

"Alright then, let's go. Mellie, it was a pleasure to meet you."

Aandilar offers a hand/arm to Aveline, and then intends to leave.

[planswalker]

"Be sure to come back again, dearies. You two make such a cute couple."

Aveline takes your hand, ready to leave herself.

You leave the theatre, and the night is young.

[Techwarrior]

Aandilar was enjoying himself. The city was soooooo big, he had a beautiful date, he'd just seen a wonderful play, and he'd met an ancient elf. All in one day. The night air seemed to invigorate him. Aandilar takes a deep breath, as if trying to breath the night in. He has the happy look of a young child as he turns to Aveline and asks,

"How long do we have before you need to be back at the barracks?"

"Oh, not for a while."
