Karyana holds her close, gently murmuring comforting things to the goddess, and the two likely find themselves teleported to a rather pretty black sand beach, with three moons overhead.

"You're welcome... Can't you dump that off on the Guides for a few days, though? You need a break..."

And she needs someone to stabilize her life, not that she plans to admit that to Carrie.

She leans in to gently kiss her friend, then will teleport out...

Shortly followed by a Guide trying to teleport in. ((Tekteking her.))

Karyana smiles somewhat, nodding, though she still seems a bit sad, and returns the kiss.

The Guide, as a representative of Carrie, and, from the Guides Karyana has met, probably a fairly nice person in her own right, is quickly let in.

This is one of the higher-ups, and has met Karyana before.
Her name's, uh... Corcra.

She looks rather worried and sits down next to Karyana.
"Hi, Miss Karyana... was Carrie just here?"

Karyana nods, the fragile happiness she'd managed to gather pretty much evaporating when she sees the worried look on the Guide's face.

"Hey, Corcra... And yeah, Carrie just left; she said she had work to do. Why?"

Corcra sighs.
"Okay, look, I... I know you're having the worst time of your life here, but... I'm going to be terribly selfish and ask you to help me deal with my goddess before something gets broken forever.
I'm going to kick her out and back here ASAP because there's no way we can keep her in her own realm."
She puts a wing around Karyana.

Karyana slips a wing around her, too.

"Honestly, I asked her to stay anyway... She needs it, and helping her gives me an anchor, some reason not to just shift into a cloud of mist and let myself evaporate. So don't feel bad for asking, okay?

And... What do you mean about keeping her in her own realm?"

"I mean... look, you know how Carrie's often slept with us Guides when she didn't have anyone. Thing is, we're basically incapable of saying no, even if we know it's not good for her. She's... it's hard to describe, but when she came to each of us what we saw was an angel and not one of us didn't fall in love.
And if we let her and we let ourselves, we'll coddle her and fix every little thing for her and she'll just drink and bone girls in nice hats and atrophy until she can't do anything else."
She sighs.
"If she's with you, things won't always be perfect. You'll disagree and you won't always be able to cheer each other up and you'll have to work to feel better and that's what'll save her.
Help me out here, paladin girl."
She goes to hug Karyana.

"I'll do whatever I can, Corcra. Can't promise it'll work, because like you said, I'm not perfect, but I'll try to keep her healthy...

I don't suppose some of you could help me out with that, could you? I've been kind-of-not-really-coping in pretty much the same way Carrie has..."

The Guide nods and smiles, kissing her cheek.
"Thanks, hon. You're a lifesaver... I'll try to make sure you get the help you need for this. She'll be along soon... for now, don't let her drink too much and keep her out of the medicine cabinet, okay?"
SHe goes to stand.

Karyana smiles a little, squeezing the Guide's hand, and lets her up without trouble, once their wings are disentangled.

"Okay. I'll keep her out of anything else like that, too... And you're welcome. Thanks for helping me, and making sure that Carrie can't just sit off in her realm and drink away her troubles, even if she might not have wanted you to. I'm glad her well-being and happiness comes before her wishes, in this case."

((T'would be nice... Honestly, though, it's partly my fault; I'd just pull up a Firefox window to listen to music in cases like that, but I have two windows saved in it, each of which has thirty+ tabs, and there's no way to stop them from coming up when I do that.))

Karyana smiles slightly, and nods, going to hug her.

"So it seems. Told you the Guides could take care of things..."
