She pulls out (from nowhere, presumably) the preening comb she uses on herself and smiles, getting behind her friend to shampoo her hair and wings, as well as preening the latter. She's very good at it, thankfully.

Karyana's wings and hair aren't in the best of shape, as she hasn't been taking care of them to her usual standards recently, but Carrie is probably able to deal with that fairly easily.

She seems to enjoy the attention, and, once she's been preened and shampooed, goes return the favor.

She summons sleepwear, though only in the form of an oversized t-shirt that's nearly falling off one shoulder, and brushes her hair happily.

Karyana doesn't bother with sleepwear, unless Carrie seems like she'd prefer the vampire do so, and snuggles against her friend as her hair is brushed.

((Yep! I was kind of surprised, actually. But Dessa's more hurt and lashing out at people than really mean, and she's not terribly unreasonable, so I didn't really stay any reason for her to stay horrible to Nike, especially since she already felt bad about taking it out on her.

Karyana certainly won't stop her, doing her best (which, having had a fair bit of experience with Zwei and Ashley, is not bad at all) to make sure Carrie enjoys herself.

Carrie's pretty good, being... well, not entirely unlike a bicycle in certain social circles.
Afterward, she's snuggled close and blushing heavily, panting slightly.
I thought redheads was my thing.
Now I know it's girls with lots of arms.

Karyana happily returns the snuggles, and is also panting somewhat, though not blushing, since she's had a thing for Carrie for a while, in-canon and out, and isn't really embarrassed by this sort of thing anyway.

Though I do feel the need to point out that, for the most part, redheads are a lot more common than girls with lots of arms.

Carrie has a little crush on her in canon, sort of like one might have on a friend's pretty older sister, but that's more outweighed by her platonic feelings.

Nah, hon, I like blondes fine too...
She puts a wing around her and smiles blissfully, yawning.

Karyana feels similarly, especially since Carrie is happily married, canonically, though possibly a bit more intensely since that's just who she is.

In any case, she wraps her wings around Carrie as well, smiling back, and going to kiss her goodnight.

Carrie, on the other hand, will be seeming to have a bad dream at some point; not quite a nightmare, but it's something confusing and she's not very happy about it, making unhappy little mumblings and squeezing closer against the older girl.
