It's fortunate that coolness, not -stringery, is also taken into account.

And the vampire lizgreaper is much ... cooler ... than the main protagonist

If I were voting, I'd vote for Roy Greenhilt... just saying

Also, Nale now holds the record for most votes in a single round. He's currently winning 58-6, in case anyone cares about that result.

What you call third stringer villain, I call a cool, fun, interesting character :)
Roy shouldn't be impossible to defeat just by virtue of being the main protagonist.

    Going to vote for Roy...

    and Nale.

(I think Nale probably only has so many votes because so many people bothered to vote in this particular Favourite round... and this LC round is an easy choice.)

Why do all the Malack fans keep insisting that this is the only reason people would vote for Roy? Roy is the cooler character for many of us, not just the more important character.

Looking back over at the first post, I've just noticed something incredibly cool.

If Malack wins this round, he'll go up against either Wizard Guy or Sabine. Whichever wins that, I'd put money on Malack to beat them.

Then we have Durkon against Demon-roaches (easy win for Durkon), followed by Durkon against either Kazumi Kato or Tarquin in round 3 (difficult to call- Tarquin might beat Durkon, but I'd bet that given recent events, the dwarf would swing it).

Although it's a bit too soon to call, that means that if Malack wins this round, he could very well be squaring off against Durkon in a couple of rounds time!

I wonder who would win that popularity contest?

Wow. Can't believe how close this is, and has been for some time. I get that Malack is a pretty damn cool villain, and that he has just had his Big Reveal. It's obvious he'd be pulling in some supporters. I even get some of the criticism of Roy as a blander character (a sentiment I do not share, by the way). But to have just a single vote in it, after a good few days of voting...Wow. Never wudda thunk it.

Resist, Resist, Resist, Resist the temptation to vote for the Evil meglomaniac who killed Durkon and turned him into a mindless blood-sucking Undead monster, thus depriving our favorite Dwarf of his long hoped for rest...

Hey, if you loathe a villain for what they've done, that's good too.
