Reinholdt returns the attention by nipping at her chin and kissing his way along her jawbone when he gets the chance.

He takes a few breaths himself before replying.
"Candlelight dinner and a movie or sunset walk down the beach?"

"You will be contacted over the civilian help hotline. That is the proper protocol, is it not?" the voice replies.

Apparently she knows how to use a phone!

[With the Doctor!]

Amil does interject when talk of the Nexus starts up! "I got dumped here pretty early on. Maybe just a few months after the crazy fight between that dragon and werewolf when the city began growing around the arena. It's really weird..."

She wrinkles her nose a bit.

"There was hardly anything here at first. A few restaurants and Inari's, really. But then all at once it started growing explosively. And what's really strange is that some people have lived in this city their whole lives. Forty, fifty, sixty years. Older. But at the same time near as I can tell the Nexus couldn't be any more than... what... six years old or so?"

Time sure is wonky here.

Aaaaaand then yelling no at the sky.

Welp.

That's usually a bad sign.

"Whoa whoa whoa!" As his life points drain down to zero in a flurry of numbers, Leon waves his hand in the air, trying to get the attention of the judges. "That card is banned, little buckaroo! Looks like you've got yourself a disqualification, sicing such an unpleasant beast of a spell on a good, rules-abiding player like myself!

"Hmmph." Mustering up as much wounded pride as he can muster, the boogeyman picks himself up and dusts himself off, turning up his nose at the slenderman. "Don't know where you're from, that you think you can go around, grabbing people off the streets and tickling them like that. I'm telling this to ya for you're own good too, why, some crazy psychos would try and kill ya for a stunt like that, some of a' them even have the power to pull it off too." He says, shaking a cautioning finger in Slendy's direction. Being a spook in these parts is dangerous enough without adding assault and ticklery to it.

"I'd hate to spend Thanksgiving at your grandma's." The Doctor says in response to Victoria's story about her family. "Still, that IS quite interesting. This Nexus place. The Nexus, that's a clever name. The centre point. The gathering. The meeting place. The place where everything comes together. Brilliant! You'd think I'd have heard of a place like this before. I wonder how it exists? Some sort of applied anti-harmonium vortex perhaps, or..."

The Doctor carries on rambling in techno-babble as he walks along, and doesn't seem to be about to stop any time soon. Luckily for Amil and Victoria, he's distracted as they return to the place they left the little blue box.

The area's a little worse for wear from when they left it. The top floors of a few buildings are missing chunks where the Captain's pirate ship went through them. But thanks to the Nexus' resilient nature they're already repairing themselves or getting repaired.

There is one thing missing, though. And that missing thing nearly causes the Doctor to drop Copi. Instead, he shoves her rather roughly at Amil and runs off.
"No! Oh no oh no where'd she go!?"
The Doctor races over to where he'd left his box, reaching out but meeting only dead air. "No no nooo. This can't be happening!" he mutters to himself, eyes wide and running his hand through his brown hair. "There shouldn't be anyone here who can fly her! Unless..." His eyes grow even wider and he stands up straight. "Oh no."

It's possible it got shifted somewhere... but you seem to have an idea of who it is, don't you?" The half-fiend observes.

Arel giggles. "I suppose I need a bathing suit, don't I?" She's never had any need of one, so she'll have to pick one up. Good thing it's a long time till the evening. "Should I surprise you with what I get?"

"Mmm... I love surprises." Reinholdt admits. "Especially from you."

On the flipside, it means Rein not escorting her to Mallside. Granted, they've already been there like... twice. Probably need to find a new place to hang out.

Mia will try to place a hand on her shoulder. And set's a friendly smile on her face.

"Don't hesitate to ask me if something bothers you."

"I won't. It's just... strange, ma'am. I haven't been religious since I was, I dunno... twelve years old? Now, outta nowhere..." Cornelia shakes her head. "I think I jus' need some time alone. Read all this. Think about things."

Teq gives a neutral shrug. He hadn't been expecting that. "Works for me." He glances back toward Missy. "Do you need a ride back to base? Or are you going to handle things here?" It's likely that the dimension-locking team Missy ordered has already arrived.

"I'll handle it. Thank you." Missy says. And I'm just going to close this scene for now, as the plot has moved to Ponyside or Canterville or whatever. Presumably Rebo or Bob will poke us OOC if stuff happens in Inside again.

"It's not just a Police Box. It's a ship. The TARDIS. There's only one other person anywhere who can pilot it," the Doctor explains, speaking quickly. He reaches into his pocket, pulling out his sonic screwdriver. "But why? What does he want with it? He has one of his own!" He holds his sonic screwdriver up to his face, hunching down slightly as he focuses on its many settings. Once he's satisfied, he holds it up into the air. It emits a shrill buzzing noise and he begins to walk in slow circles, raising it up and down as though he were following it. "Come on, come on... AHA! He can't take it out of this planet! It's... that way!"

And then he goes running off.

"A surprise it is then." Arel says with a nod. Hm, what to get. She'll have to browse for a bit. "Now I'm not so sure about that nap you suggested, though. How am I supposed to sleep when you keep giving me reasons to stay awake?"

"Mmm... sleeping's overrated. Not when you can be making out." Reinholdt says, leaning in to kiss Arel again.

Arel giggles again and leans in to meet him. Undoubtedly they continue making out for some time longer.

Red Zone

"BLOODPLUNDER!" Mrs. Bloodplunder is charging, far faster than one would expect her to, and with quite a ferocious expression on her face; one that doesn't seem to fit with her usual pleasant grandmother disposition. Her eyes have an indigo light to them, and a pair of translucent indigo orcs fade into view on either side. Light the same shade is leaking from the flail. She's sweeping her flail from right to left to right as she goes, and should it connect it is very powerful. If it tries to dodge whilst she's a distance away, she'll alter course so she still intercepts.

Needle & Thread

Oddball is still on Jamie's shoulder, and looks around with wonder at all the ranks of clothes. He fervently hopes there's no Pokemon accessories for pokemon contests and such like; he really doesn't want to be dressed up.

Natalie will quickly look through the shapeshifter department, though she's having some difficulty finding anything that looks like it'll fit. Most of it, however, is one-size-fits-all and a bit more literal than usual; it changes size to fit its wearer. That isn't quite what Natalie wants, however, as only her natural and her first forms are humanoid. She needs something for lycanthropes.

The minotaur stares at the girl, concentrating, thinking, the gears are turning, sparks are flying, something catches fire(no not literally) then he says simply Is outside, no inside. then he goes back to thinking Nodn once London, long time past. he then pats his chest Is Gird. he pets his goat Is Ba.

Krystal nods a little, knowing now that communicating with Gird will take some skill.

Nice to meet you, Gird. I am Krystal.

London? I think you might have come here from another world.
