It went on sale during the Thanksgiving sale. I thought I saw the regular Civ 5 go on sale, but I'm not sure the expansion has gone on sale yet.

Well, it's 50% now, I'm just holding out for a better one. And if Civ 5 had been on a deal, the DLC would have as well, and it wouldn't likely go up again.

Aha, that'd be nice. I've been holding out for that for Gods and Kings. It has a pretty good reputation, and from what I've seen it does make 5 a better game. With that kind of content, it seems like a classic expansion pack rather than just the shoddy DLC we've seen with Civ 5 so far.

It's generally agreed that DS1 is a better than game DS2, based on opinions of gamers and critics who have played both. Not that DS2 is a terrible game; it's an ok game especially for sale price. It's just that DS1 is better, especially as a PC port.

It's also based on what type of game you like and why you bought DS2. If you bought it for God-Of-War type brawler gameplay, then DS1 is much better.

If you like the "more expansive world" and "side quests" and "added RPG elements", then you won't mind playing DS2. But ppl who liked the tight gameplay of the first game won't forgive DS2's less impressive brawler aspect just because it added a rehashed RPG aspect. For example, in DS1 the character had block and counter-block functions, but in DS2 those are removed entirely.

Well, I played the beginnings of both (About 1-2 hours wach). And I have to say, DS2 feels alot better then DS1. The "dodge" you mentioned is less of a dodge and more of a football tackle in a direction. Not to mention that the "tight" gameplay feels a little constraining in comparison to DS2's wider locations and extra nooks and crannies. Not to mention I solved most of War's problems by blowing a horn at it and mashing E, while with Death I have to avoid getting hit as much as possible. Atleast they were both worth 1 dollar each.

So I picked up Black Ops II on Christmas day, and found a nasty little bug prevented me from completing one mission, which was a ten minute slog through waves of soldiers in a crummy-to-control "RTS" segment.

Action game + Crummy controls meant for a controller + RTS = Really bad time

DID ANYONE LEARN FROM THE STELLAR SUCCESS OF BRUTAL LEGEND?!

Anyways, every time I beat said level, the game crashed. I tried this three times, with different oddball solutions, and still got crashes. Same problem with the Leaderboard and Career Record screens. Then I found out through the fiftieth Steam Community thread on the game that apparently the friend's list has to do with the issue: the game isn't meant to accommodate a large number of friends on the PC platform, so clearly deleting friends would fix the issue. That's insane, right? Couldn't possibly work.

That was the problem.

Such a simple oversight nearly destroyed the game for me, and taught me a valuable lesson: friends are far less important than killing people on the internet.

I played yesterday the new MvM map Bigrock, and it was buggy as hell. We tried Bone Shaker on 3 different servers. First server had an unbelievable lag for all of us until we gave up. It was kind of frustrating that the spy couldn't do any backstabs. And on the next 2 servers connection broke down. Is that normal for Bone Grinder? We played on free servers.

Try engineer picking up building after 3-5 seconds, something that is not supposed to move -.-

I even experimentally right clicked and moved away, only to find sentry in my hands some 40 steps later...

Anyway, it's sad paid servers don't seem to have these issues, except for pansies disconnecting halfway. Pay to play, indeed

Well it seems to be far less overpowered. (I never used house mods for any Bethesda games because they tend to give you a gazillion things.

Dawnguard is well worth the money. I just finished the "good" playthrough and it was definitely worth the money and time. My ONLY complaint is that the new NPC isn't marriageable.

As for the mod, I don't know. Do you get housecarls with that?
