She nods respectfully, and then upstairs she shall go.

Upstairs... is a mess. Setting up the Hunters is a complicated process and there's a bit of a bureaucratic nightmare on the second floor. Still, the woman will be able to spot a man in a dark blue longcoat with black epaulets and a more ornate badge - the Hunter-Commander Johann Pannewitz.

Irena nods, "Yeah... that reminds me though, once we're done with the ultrasound, we need to find someone to take care of it."

Kami Hunting

Once the fey left Cessie let's out a deep sigh. "I did that poorly didn't I? I'm just too nice for this, too naive."

Exbourne Manor

"So you're growing more powerful. Is this power coming from inside you, or is it an external source? Like another dimension?" Astrana asks while leaning back a bit in her armchair.

[The Rusty Dagger]

"They are called Erath, vampire servants." She says with a dismissive gesture. "Only a threat for people down here, up in the air they can't even move. They're just slaves really, rumor has it the lords turn criminals and savages into Erath to serve them." She sounds rather calm about the situation, but is still just talking to Samona. Trying to not look at Ghoul at all.

"I don't know. Its like there there is something inside me, giving me power. It's not me, but it's not outside of me. It doesn't think. It just does what it does."

Some of the veins closer to the skin turn ink black... but that's really only obvious on her hands and a little on her arms, so Astrana may miss it.

"Mmm... I wouldn't say that. Could use a little bit more ruthlessness maybe, but it's not like they didn't have a case." Harnel admits, going to put on hand on her shoulder reassuringly.

"But it's your call. If there are situations desperate enough that call for the use of kami, even if they are dangerous, then it's best to decide so now and where the line lies. Though I suspect it is always going to be hard on whoever has to police that line." In this case, Cessie.

"I know, my father always told how much of a responsibility it was going to be governing this considering there aren't any actual rules. Only vague guidelines." She says turning to Harnel. "But I'm getting tired, it has been a long day hasn't it?" It's like it have lasted for months.

Astrana pauses a bit before her next question. "How dangerous do you think you are Eadelain?"

"I don't know. I haven't tried to hurt anyone yet. But if someone made me angry, I might try to hurt them. I know I could. I could kill if I needed to." Other blood vessels, in her arms and face, turn black; Astrana most likely notices that now. What she's less likely to notice is that Eadelain's shadow is bigger than it should be. "I don't need to, and I hope it will stay that way, but I want enough power to defend myself. I don't want anyone to mess with me."

And the silver-haired former rancher walks up to the man with the steenkin' badge, and salutes.

"Andromeda Myslyvets, reporting for duty, Commander."

Nadia nods slowly. "Yeah, I know." She frowns. "I don't even know where to begin thinking about that, though." She knows she's been making a point of not thinking about it. She just didn't want to worry about it, that's all.

[Zefir]

"We set up a shooting range in an empty warehouse. We hope to set up something more permanent soon."

[HRC]

"Good to know."

The man answers, checking for the new weapons again.

"I think I should now go an met the Commander. Where can i find him?"

"Even with the break in between, we've been doing a lot of running." Dragons get tired right? Maybe not sweaty, but probably tired.

"Wanna call it a day?"

Samona nods thoughtfully. "The lords? Tell me more about them, will you?" Samona pulls up a nearby chair and takes a seat across from the woman. "I'm afraid I've never encountered shadow vampires before."

And the silver-haired former rancher walks up to the man with the steenkin' badge, and salutes.

"Andromeda Myslyvets, reporting for duty, Commander."

Johann turns around and gives a curt nod.
"You're one of our new Hunter recruits. We're getting a lot of them, but we'll need every single one. This will not be an easy job."

[HRC]

"Good to know."

The man answers, checking for the new weapons again.

"I think I should now go an met the Commander. Where can i find him?"

"He's upstairs now. He's very busy, but he'll talk to you if he can find the time."

"I didn't sign up for easy," Rommie acknowledges with a nod of her own. "And I'm willing to do what it takes to do what is right."

[Zefir]

[HRC- Upstairs]

The winged man nods and heads for upstairs.
As he notice One of the other recruits talking to an important looking man he keeps some distance and waits.

"I didn't sign up for easy," Rommie acknowledges with a nod of her own. "And I'm willing to do what it takes to do what is right."

[HRC- Upstairs]

The winged man nods and heads for upstairs.
As he notice One of the other recruits talking to an important looking man he keeps some distance and waits.

"Good. We'll need it. This city has been festering for a very long time. Before the factions came, the criminals had their way. This new government is our chance to make things better for Eastside and, hopefully, the rest of Riverside as well. But we'll need to be always vigilant," Johann says solemnly. "There are no doubt forces that wish to ruin us from outside or inside. But the people of Eastside put their trust in us."

"I hope to be able to live up to that trust. That's why I joined up - it's been too long since anybody has been 'in charge' in this town without far too much of 'what's in it for us' involved," Rommie admits.

[Morty]

[Hunter Recruitment - Upstairs]

"Yes, quite. Everyone has tended to see Riverside as their own private playground, ripe for the picking as it were. It's over now," Johann says gravely. "Are you a native of Riverside?" he then asks.

"No, but I might as well be. I...have no memory before waking up in a Riverside hospital several years ago," Rommie says, sighing slightly. "Since then I have lived here, but before then, I know nothing."

[Morty]

[Hunter Recruitment - Upstairs]

"I am... sorry to hear that," Johann says. "It makes me all the more glad that you decided to fight for the good of this city nonetheless. Our ultimate goal is to bring democracy to the whole of Riverside. For now, however, we focus on Eastside."

[The Bushranger]

[Hunter Recruitment - Upstairs]

"Today Eastside, tomorrow the world."

She nods, smiling slightly in gratitude. "Thank you. Is there anything I need to do right away? I suppose there will be an extensive training regimen."

Jeu the winged man steps closer to Johann, assuming it is time now to introduce himself. With a salut he speaks up to Johann

"Excuse me Sir. Are you the Commander of this organisation."

[Morty]

[Hunter Recruitment - Upstairs]

"Today Eastside, tomorrow the world."

She nods, smiling slightly in gratitude. "Thank you. Is there anything I need to do right away? I suppose there will be an extensive training regimen."

[Hunter Recruitment - Upstairs]

Jeu the winged man steps closer to Johann, assuming it is time now to introduce himself. With a salut he speaks up to Johann

"Excuse me Sir. Are you the Commander of this organisation."

"In the future, yes. For now, there's a training ground in a nearby office building. Go there. Right now, as you can see, I have another recruit to brief."
With that, he turns to the winged man.
"I am. And you are another of our new recruits. Both your numbers and diversity are good signs. What's your name?

[Hunter Recruitment - Upstairs]

"Yes that's right. I'm Jeu Gelarion, Sir."

He sais with another salute. Sadly he miss the Uniform since they don't have a winged man version.

[Morty]

[Hunter Recruitment - Upstairs]

"I see. You've been with the Democracy Now movement since its inception, as I recall. Luckily, there wasn't any need for protection back then. It's about to change, however. We might be required to do our best to defend Eastside very soon."

It's hard to guess if the mage is sweaty or not by in that dress anyone would be unless dragons in human shape are different in that regard. In response the dragon nods. "Yes, let's return to the hotel now... I need something to eat. What about you?"

"The lords... Harold and Ryhe. That's what they are called, you usually see Harold during the grand ceremonies but I only think my cousin have ever seen Ryhe once... erm. Yes, never call them shadow vampires, they don't like that name, just call them ther'adun. As for what they do, I'm not sure. They're blind of course, no eyes and they feed on memories and use a great deal of temporal energy stones. I heard they can shift into shadows too and mind control people, not to mention shapeshifting. But that might just be rumors, they don't really like talking about it." She finishes in a nervous tone.

[Suncrest Manor]

"We could put up a wall-poster about it, but I'm not going to put that kid in a orphanage though. Whatever I might think of them." Aw, you do care!

[Exbourne Manor]

The tiefling nods in understanding, "Okay, I see. So how do you feel about your parents then Eadelain?" And that's the question that is supposed to end the trance.

"I don't..." She shifts, and the effect disappears from her eyes. "I don't... I... feel odd." The inky blackness is disappearing slowly from her veins, it'll take a minute or two for it to get back to normal.

"How much of that am I supposed to be able to remember?"

Harnel grins. "FAMISHED. I'm ready to eat a whole cow."
He kids, of course. Probably.
He's not going to terrorize farmers for their cows. That's just low.

Nadia gives Irena a smile. "Okay, let's do that. I want to be very selective, though. I'm not just giving a baby I gave birth to awa to just anyone."

"Sure, but you have to put up the add, I... probably shouldn't. I'm not really good with children. Like at all." Irena admits while scratching the back of her head awkwardly.

Cessie chuckles, "I recall the time when I did eat a whole cow, with the farmers permission of course. It was rather... fulfilling." She says with a grin.

"You're not, don't worry about it though. This session is over for now. I don't think we will be able to learn much more until we go deeper. That's going to be quite risky on my part though considering I will be at the mercy of your mindscape." Astrana explains.
