Well, it seems like a normal enough church...

Gale heads along to a side, trying to find a window to take a look inside the building.

Gale heads to the back of the church, about 50 feet up there is a large stained glass window. Peering through it, Gale is able to several figures inside, moving around, but it is blurred by the stained glass.

Don't know if you have ever tried to look through colored stained glass, but it is quite blurry and distorted.

I have indeed tried to look through stained glass in the past. Time to perform the really really stupid thing...

Time to head inside, to get a better look at what is going on

Gale will cast flee the scene to teleport 20 feet past the window.

Gale teleports inside the church. The multiple figures that Gale saw moving through the stained glass is actually just one: A beautiful, extremely tall, umanlike creature with long, feathery wings and a very supple and lithe body glows with an inner power that makes it hard to look directly at the creature.

The creature then turns around, it has spotted Gale, floating in the air. It then begins to speak to Gale, "Hello there, what are you doing up there?"

The creature has an aura about its body, there is also an aura around the heavy mace at its side.

Also it is speaking common.

The creature is about 25 ft. away, facing the wall and window that Gale teleported through.

"Hello. I was just taking a look around. It seemed a bit odd that one church was left standing, when the rest of the city has been flattened."

"Why? It seems a bit odd to be building a new building, after destroying the city."

Gale sits down on one of the support beams.

Uhoh. That is an Astral deva, which I am no match for.

"I am not responsible for destroying the city, and I see nothing wrong with trying rebuild a building. What is your name?"

"Odd. To date, All I have seen from the planars has been destruction. There is indeed nothing wrong with rebuilding a building. My name is Gale. What is yours?"

"Can you say that all humans are the same? I find that very planarist. Nice to meet you Gale, you can call me Jegudiel."

He then stretches out his hand, as if to shake Gale's hand.

Gale shakes the hand.

"Nice to meet you, Jegudiel. You are the first outsider I have encountered that has not tried to kill me on sight. Who is this church dedicated to? I ahve heard that the gods are rather hard to reach now."

"Dedicated to? It isn't dedicated to anyone in particular, it is more a place of peace, and understanding. I am quite curious, you said that other outsiders tried to kill you on sight. It is impressive that you managed to escape from their attacks, and to do it all by yourself, that is impressive indeed."

"Teleportation is useful at that sort of thing. There has been one question in my mind about this whole invasion thing: Why? I can understand the demons and devils invading, but the solars, formians, and who knows what else don't really make sense to me."

Should I mention the others... probably not, as they aren't here, and this is a planar...

Noru trots about outside looking for where gale went. sadly the horses hooves make no sound.

Bleerie follows Gale to the church, and seeing her teleport in, she seeks an entrance.

[Allyzedl]

Everyone else follows behind Gale, and watch as she teleports into the church. Upon scoping out the church, they find themselves back at the front doors, as they seem to be the only way in, other than teleporting.

"From what I understand, the reason to your question is war. We have been at war with those demons for as long as I can remember. However, I don't know anything more specific about it than that, as I am just a priest."

"To which god? I thought they were out of contact with this plane."

[Allyzedl]

"I do not serve any god, but rather a way of living. I help those in need and promote peace when possible. As for the gods of this plane, I don't know much about them, as they don't matter to me."

"Interesting. Jegudiel, would you be interested in moving the war elsewhere?"

Bleerie tries to shout at her companion. "GALE! ARE YOU IN THERE? NEED ASSSISTANCE?"

"I am interested in a peaceful resolution to the war, however I am unsure whether it will happen any time soon at this rate."

You hear something outside, but aren't sure what.

"Ending the war is most likely almost impossible. I was more wondering about moving the war elsewhere, and thus, getting most of the outsiders to leave this plane, allowing the natives time to recover."

Bleerie kicks the door repeatedly with her plate boots, to make some noise. "She might be in trouble. We should get in."

You hear a faint tapping sound on the door. Jegudiel walks over and opens the doors.

Someone on the other side opens the doors and says, it is a beautiful, extremely tall, umanlike creature with long, feathery wings and a very supple and lithe body glows with an inner power that makes it hard to look directly at the creature.

It looks down at Bleerie and says, "I barely heard you knocking, welcome to my church. Please come in."

Behind the creature you see Gale on the far side of the church.

"Hello everyone. This is Jegudiel, and he has not tried to kill me yet, so perhaps this can be peaceful?"

Gale walks over to the door.

[Zman]

As the door opens, Zaavariel is confronted by a tall majestic and beautiful creature who appears to have been consorting with Gale..."Traior...Pity, she was beautiful..." Zaavariel spits with a bit of venom in his voice.

"Greetings, Jegudiel. I am Bleerie. We are Gale's friends." This being looks like a planar. This might be a trick. There is a good chance this is a trick. Maybe even Gale is a trick, maybe they took the real one and this is a trap.

Bleerie looks around. "Excuse my paranoia, but we are not used to speaking to planars. Why are you here? What is your trade? What is your relationship to the planar beings the humans here call the "uppers"? I will gladly answer your questions, of course, should you have any, and provided it is in my interests to do so."

"Jegudiel, I never said I was alone when I encountered other outsiders. The real question here, is what are they going to do? I honestly have no idea."

Gale turns to face the party

"Of course, asking questions either way would be good plan. Killing tends to be final... Well, unless you are a native of another plane, in which case you are banished, but still."

[Allyzedl]

"Nice to meet you Bleerie," Jegudiel reaches out his hand, to shake Bleerie's hand, "you have so many questions. It seems that you lot know Gale. She has told me that you have been constantly attacked by those from my plane. I am here to promote a more peaceful lifestyle, and help those in need.

My relationship with those of my plane is the same as you have with yours. We are not all the same because we come from the same plane, and neither I suspect are you like every other being from your plane."
