Gale casts Voracious Dispelling, rendering the item non-magical for a bit, followed by a Baleful Utterance, trying not to harm her with the effect(Luckily, no real damage dealt)

We walked. Krgg, already tiring of the back-and-forth prattle, was anxious to be on towards the castle. You know, we do have a job to do here, ladies...we should be about it!

Gale glares at Krgg, amazed at his statement
"Krgg, if all we do is kill and destroy, we are as bad as the planars. If it takes 5 minutes to save a life, then that is probably 5 minutes well spent. However, I do agree, we should get moving. Tulip, you might want to come with us, unless you have a safe location to go. As a side note, the group in undermountain is no more. They were driven off by the formains."

Zaavariel watches on suspiciously, "We need to be careful who we trust... and what we say."

[mucco]

"I agree. This whole thing sounds fishy, and anyone could be a spy in disguise. Make sure you never disclose important information in the presence of those you can't trust - and there are very few people we can trust", says Bleerie while tapping on her chest.

She then resumes walking toward the drow's place.

Krgg

Agreeing with Zaavariel about not trusting the human, Krgg adresses the girls, By all means, save her life so she can be killed or enslaved again....then she can spill her guts to the planars about us and everything that's already slipped into her little ear...if she can't fight she can go starve in a doorway for all I care.

"If we don't try to help where we can, what use are we? What would make us any different from those we fight? I suspect that she can give us some useful information, such as maps, enemy numbers, and other things like that. If we kill all the planars, then there are no worries about her being captured. Nevertheless, we should not tell her all about our weakness to cats. After all, she might get recaptured at some future date."

[Medic!]

Krgg the Kittybane

Krgg snickers at the cat comment, You don't use a sword to build a house, Gale. We're a sword. Leave the charity to those with less important things to do.

"Like... who? The only major group of humans we have encountered are dead. That being the case, I figure we should try to save as many as we can. Still, somehow, I don't think we are going to agree on that point, so we will see what happens."

Gale resumes walking, near Tulip, towards the drow merchant.

Zaavariel passionately adds, "We've already saved her life! He rest is her choice. We fight for Toril! Not one girls life. Saving one girl cannot be allowed to jeopardize our world." there is fire in Zaavariels eyes.

[Archmage1]

Her eyes burning, Gale turns to Zaavariel
"Zaavariel, you raise a good point, but where does saving her jeopardize the world? In order for her to be recaptured, we would need to be dead already, which I won't plan for, since I would be dead. We don't fight for the land, we fight for the people. In what way is saving a life contrary to that objective."

"Calm, elf. Until proven otherwise, she is an ally. Are we in any position to discard allies, however weak they may be? She might prove useful one day, and once Bailey is back we can leave her with them. We need all the help we can get, even if it is only one person."

Bleerie keeps walking. "We are losing too much time on this. If you prefer, I'll take responsibility for the woman. But she'll be safe. Let's go."

"Then she is your responsibility. Know this, if she has evil intent I won't hesitate to remove her head fom her shoulders." Zaavariel speaks in complete sincerity.

Krgg looks at Zaavariel with a bit more respect. It doesn't take evil intent to ruin the pie, Elf...an innocent mistake could just as easily prove disasterous.

"Fair enough. Just make sure of her intent before you sentence her to death."

Noru doesn't bother throwing fuel on a fire, instead deigning to animate one of the hound archons skeletons, equipping it with whatever mundane equipment it was carrying.

"Noru, that is a point, we might as well see what they have."

Gale searches both of the hound archons for useful items, using detect magic to help.

"Ehh talking about killing her just before her. Yes my heroes, that's the way. She was saved, we can bring her to merchant, the rest is left in her hands. Will she live or will she die it depends on her actions.

... and I agree giving her information about us is both meaningless and dangerous..."

Says Garrin with bored expression and somehow irritated voice.

"Shall we go now?"

[Allyzedl]

Tulip eyes at Bleerie as she talks about spies and taps her chest. She then whispers to Bleerie as everyone arrives at the shop in the merchant district, "Are you part of The Ash?"

The party sees black smoke coming up from a building a few blocks south-east of the shop. A few blocks north from the shop the group can see light coming from a building and hear some noises coming from the building, although they are faint.

[Archmage1]

"I wonder what is making that noise and light. We should investigate before we go selling stuff. It might be more planars. Tulip, you should be safe enough here."

Gale starts heading towards the building of interest.

[Lexin]

... and Garrin follows.

"More planars would mean more things to sell... Yes it would be better to check the other place first..."

[Tharione]

Noru trots his horse along behind, issuing orders to his newly created minion.

"Skeletons, follow me and protect me. Exoskeleton carry the hounds equipment."

[mucco]

Bleerie is surprised that someone knows about the Ash. The likelihood of Tulip being a spy was raising. "No time now. We're in danger. Battle signs south-east and north, we can't go to the shop: we risk getting flanked. Let's head north." She then follows Gale, who is already on her way.

[Medic!]

Krgg

Krgg starts to follow Gale north to investigate, but hesitates, worried about getting in her way. Then an epiphany comes to him. If something's there, it'll be easier for her to be sneaky if they're busy staring at him!

He brandishes his falchion and begins marching north towards the lighted building in plain view.

[Allyzedl]

Gale heads towards the building with the noise and lights, the rest of the group follows behind her. As they approach the building they are able to see inside it, as it has large windows wrapped around it. Getting closer, Gale begins to feel pressure on the area where her mark is, following her, the rest of the group feels the same sensation, like someone is pushing on their marks.

Looking inside, the building resembles a tavern. There are several figures sitting around drinking beverages. Scoping it out, the group scans from left to right. They see that the tavern is filled with half a dozen outsiders, until they get to the end, at which point they see a drop dead beautiful human woman sitting on a stool at the end of the bar, seemingly drinking with the outsiders.

Interesting. Time to see what we have here.

Gale turns to face the group, and speaks in a low tone that is unlikely to carry into the bar

"What do you think? There is a Lumi, Lupinal, Slyph, Solar Angel,and that woman in there."

Gale walks into the tavern, making no effort to be quiet.

[Allyzedl]

Behind the bar are two humanoid figure, there is a medium sized creature sitting across from a small creature at a table in the middle of the room. The human woman sitting in a stool at the bar has a large creature standing next to her, a large winged creature.

As the party feels the pressure on their mark getting stronger the human woman inside begins to inspect her own chest, as if searching for something.

Behind the bar (2 of these):
A solemn and dignified head floats about six inches above the
shoulders of the otherwise headless body of this stocky humanoid
creature. The being’s skin softly glows, and white light peeks
between the cracks of its armor.

Medium creature at the table:
It looks like a werewolf, with its long muzzle, fur, and backward-bending canine legs.

Small creature at the table:
The creature appears as a small, beautiful woman
with translucent, brightly colored wings. The
typical sylph prefers filmy clothing and brightly
colored jewelry.

Large creature near the human woman:
The creature resembles a towering, powerfully built human with golden skin, and gleaming white wings.

Human woman:
The woman is quite short for a human, on quick inspection she looks barely 5 ft. tall. She has shining blonde hair, tied up in a bun on her head, as well as luxurious rings donning her fingers, a jeweled scrunchie around the bun in hair, and lavish clothes.

Garrin walks in after Gale... but prepares to teleport out just in case...
