Naera smiles back, hugging her tightly, but gently.

"Hey. Do you have some time free?"

She twists around to hug back, nodding excitedly.

[Lady Serpentine]

[Vo]

Naera kisses her forehead, smiling.

"Good.

So... How would you feel about basically adopting someone? I met someone at the tournament, and she really needs to get away from her foster parents..."

[Beans]

[Vo]
Vo blushes, fidgeting.
I-I... er... I... i-if you think I'd make a good foster parent, I-I'll try my best...

[Lady Serpentine]

[Vo]

Naera holds her close, smiling reassuringly, and going to silence her with a quick kiss.

"You'll be a wonderful foster parent, love. Okay?"

[Beans]

She hugs back, nodding and smiling shyly.

[Lady Serpentine]

Naera goes to kiss her again, smiling back, and unless something would prevent it, leading her over to the couch.

[Beans]

She comes over, giggling and blushing.

[Lady Serpentine]

Naera goes to pull Vo into her lap, giggling as well.

"I have some time before we have to actually head back there for you to meet her... You want to take advantage of that?"

[Beans]

[Vo's]
She blushes, hugging her close.
Mmm, maybe...

[Lady Serpentine]

[Vo's]

"Well, let's see if we can't settle your choice, then...", Naera says, smiling, and going to kiss her.

[Beans]

[Vo's]
She kisses back, hugging her close; her skin and lips are pleasantly cool as usual.

[Vo's]

Naera holds the kiss for as long as she can, hands starting to wander as it goes on.

[Beans]

[Vo's]
Vo picks her up, starting to stand.
Bedroom, I think, dear...

[Vo's]

Naera grins happily, nodding, and nuzzling against her as they go.

[Beans]

Clearing
Robo-Aseti shook her head.
"Time may be wonky in the Nexus, but it isn't that wonky."
She looked around the clearing.
"Where's the person known as Karyana? Shouldn't she be here by now?"

Man, she is totally gonna be here.
Soon.

((This is why I don't have my characters attend more formal events...

I did not intend to write anywhere near as much as I did on her appearance, so if you don't really care about that, everything past the first line of the second paragraph can be safely skipped.))

A few moments after Aseti speaks, Karyana appears on the outskirts of the clearing, probably with at least Zwei and Paisley, though if possible she'd prefer to also bring Tsiln and Aephiti.

In any case, whoever is accompanying her, the vampire is in her fully human form, and wearing a black velvet gown, the back, sides, and sleeves of which are made of rather elaborate lace, along with dark green velvet gloves, the tops of which, from the wrist to the tip of each finger, have a matching pattern worked into them, and soft leather ankle-boots of the same shade as the gloves.

Her hair, normally kept short and blonde, is currently just brushing her shoulders, and has been dyed pale, wintery, green, while, in stark contrast to her usual make-upless state, her lips are black, with tiny metallic flecks, while her eyes have a touch of shimmering green-and-gold under them, just enough to bring out their unusual dark purple without overpowering it.

Robo-Aseti looks in Karyana's direction.
"Oh, it looks like she's here!"
Robo-Aseti definitely needed to find out who did her make-up!
Megan looks in Karyana's direction and smiled before waving!

Behind her are Zwei and Tsiln---the former wears a suit the color of dawn mist, her vest and tie a muted purple against her crisp white shirt; the latter, a pale blue sari.
Aseti bounces up to Karyana, babbling excitedly.
KARY KARY LOOK I'M GETTING MARRIED LOOK ALSO YOU'RE SUPER PRETTY.

Karyana gives Megan a smile and a wave in return, though she's quickly distracted by Aseti, who, in an attempt to calm her, or at least make her stand somewhat more still, is quickly hugged.

"I know you're getting married, dear. That's why I'm here.
And thanks! I'm glad you like it. You and Megan are too."

Karyana may find herself being hugged by Megan.
Oh dear...it seems the hug train has left the station.
And the hug train don't make no stops.
"Glad you could make it, Karyana! The wedding wouldn't have been the same without you."

Zwei and Tsiln get Aseti-hugs too and excited babbling as always.

Karyana smiles, returning Megan's hug as well.

"I'm glad I could make it too. If nothing else, I haven't seen you in way too long..."

Megan nods.
"Yes, it's been way too long!"

"Who did your makeup? I must know." >>

Karyana grins, showing no inclination to end the hug either.

"That'd be me. Though you seem to be quite good in that regard yourself, dear, seeing as you look even more beautiful than you normally do..."

Aseti pops up with a grin, reaching up on tiptoe to pet Megan's ears.
I know, isn't she cute?

Megan blushes and hides her face.
"Mfrrrrrrrrg~"
Megan obviously doesn't believe that.

Karyana smiles, reaching up to gently pet her ears as well.

"I mean it, Megan. You look lovely. Okay?"

Megan's face turns a deeper shade of red.
"I'm not that pretty..." comes the muffled words of Megan.

Aseti pets her ears softly.
