This I was unaware of, the extent of my knowledge to this game series has been following Illven's runs. As such I can't really speak to their character growth, only the characters as I see them now.I'm not saying she couldn't improve, I'm just saying that right now she's the character I currently most dislike on the team because of her current attitudes.

Of course when she starts experiencing her character growth I will probably be charged with being a fool for these opinions, to which I will confess myself guilty should it occur.

And here I honestly thought Lugh had died, still a terrible loss but there are at least replacements for him and Echidna doesn't even begin to touch Dieck's effectiveness. Bleh. Here's an update. I'm not sure if my lost of interest is because of A) I'm being a whiny baby and want my god-units back, B) Having a death already, C) Just being fire emblemed out at the moment, or D) Just not liking Fire emblem 6

Rest assured if I do ever decided to stop early, I will go back and ret-con the Fire emblem 7 ending. And it will be happier for everyone (Except Dart)

Hector Lycian General/Florina Pegasus knight
Lv 1-20 (Promoted)/Lv 1-20(Promoted)



Hector and Florina were married shortly after Hector became the head of the Lycian league. Although the nobles were scornful of Hector marrying a mercenary from Illa, none could convince him to marry their daughters.

The happiest moment of there life was one their first daughter was born. They dedicated the rest of their lives to making the people of Ostia, and Lycia happy for their daughter. However you can't please everyone and when Hector was over 70 he was assassinated.

Aw. Good for them. I hope Florina cooled Hector's temper though.



Eliwood Lycian Paladin/Lyndis Lycian Swordmaster.
Lv 1-19 (Promoted)/Lv 1-19 (Promoted)



Eliwood and Lyn were married weeks after the battle with Nergal. Together they grew strong and happy.

When Eliwood and Lyn had a child there was much celebration among the court.

Dawww! They do compliment each other.



Nino Hidden talent/Jaffar Angel of death
Lv 5-20 (Promoted)/Lv 13 (Promoted)-18 (Promoted)



Nino and Jaffar settled in Phreae shortly after the battle. Years passed and eventually they were married and had twin boys. Hector considered vengeance but Florina managed to talk him out of it.

Nino and Erk eventually worked together to build the most influential magical school.

And Serra isn't pissed that he's working with Nino.



Dart Badon's commando
Lv 8-20 (Promoted)


After the final battle Dart threw down his axe. The fact that he had killed his sister invaded his mind every-time he wielded a weapon.

Eventually Dart decided to join the church to seek peace. To this day Dart refuses to fight.

... Will he ever get better?



Oswin Impregnable knight.
Lv 9-20 (Promoted)


Oswin was made General of Lycia for his service to Hector in the fight against Nergal. Although he never married he was happy. He said he was married to the job.

When Hector was assassinated, Oswin made it his life's goal to catch and hang the Assassin. He was successful.

Huh, I suppose marriage isn't for everyone.



Guy Great swordsman
Lv 3-20 (Promoted)


Guy continued on his quest to be the finest swordsmen of all Sacae.

One day out of the blue. A swordsmen called the Sword-demon attacked Guy, Guy felled him in a single stroke. Out of guilt that this man had a family. Guy talked to him in his last moments. He now goes by the name Karel. “The Saint of swords.”

Guy. I know the guy had a family, but why would you feel guilty about killing him after he attacked you?



Canas Supreme druid.
Lv 8-19 (Promoted)


Canas returned home to his mother, wife, and son. With the knowledge he gained from his journey, he managed to open up a school for dark magic.

The school was considered one of the most important things for ending dark magic discrimination,

Sain Heroic Knight of the Green lance.
Lv 1-6


Sain continued his life-style of hitting on any moderately attractive female that crossed his path. When Phreae and Caelin were joined, Sain was let go.

Now Sain wanders as a Mercenary. Women that need his aid always get a discount,

Of course women get a discount.



Kent Loyal Knight of the Crimson shield.
Lv 1-13


Kent continued to serve Caelin faithfully. He would have continued to serve when Phreae and Caelin were joined, but figured Sain would get himself killed without him.

He left with high honors.

Yeah, Sain probably would have died.



Wil Moderately competent archer.
Lv 2-4


Wil resigned from his post in Caelin shortly after the battle with Nergal. Wil eventually traveled home earning the money he said he would earn.

Nowadays he works as an archery instructor.

Really. Was he that good of an archer?



Dorcas Loyal Husband
Lv 3-5


Dorcas used his pay from his service with Eliwood to finally buy the medicine his wife needed to fix her leg.

He and Natalie live in a small village in Phreae now. They enjoy a simple life of peace.

Good for them.




Serra Unique cleric/Erk Studious sage.
Lv 1-19 (Promoted)/Lv 1-1(Promoted)



Erk was given a position as a court mage of Ostia after the conflict. They used the power of magic to help the Marquess of Ostia govern the country. Erk and Serra both retired from their positions after Serra gave birth to twin daughters. They retired with the Marquess's blessing.

Serra had matured by the time Erk and Nina teamed up to form an Anima school and thus did not have an emotional breakdown.

Oh, good for Serra.



Rath Wolf of Sacae
Lv 7-7


After the battle Rath thanked Lyn. His service under her, and aiding in defeating Nergal was surely the great evil he was supposed to defeat. He left for his tribe quickly.

He eventually found a wife and had a daughter and lived a life of happiness on the plains.

Well, glad we could help I guess.



Matthew Thief and Spy
Lv 2-9


Matthew continued his service as a spy for House Ostia. The memory of his beloved Leila lingers on in his heart.

Matthew dedicated himself to his work and helped the Marquess of Ostia for the rest of his live.

We got vengeance at least.



Nils&Ninian Children of destiny.
Lv 1-19



Nils and Ninan bid farewell and went through the dragon's gate sealing it from the other side. Nils and Ninian then told the story of men who did not want to kill dragons. And the name Eliwood took much fame among dragonkind.

Ninian often wished that Eliwood had returned her love. But she still wishes the best for him.

Yeah, sorry about screwing that up.



Lucius The light
Lv 3-6

Lucius opened up an orphanage in a remote area of Araphen. The children loved him, but anyone who visited would always say Lucius seemed sad.

Well maybe if he helped us he wouldn't have been so sad!



Wallace Former General of Caelin.
Lv 12-1 (Promoted)

Wallace had used the intervening year before the greatest battle never told, to slaughter the Tavalier bandits. When Lyn found this out she threw him in the dungeon, but eventually Eliwood helped her see reason, and he was released.

He was stated as saying he didn't care if he had stayed in the dungeon for the rest of his life. He just wanted Lyn's parent's death avenged.

At least they are dead now.



Marcus Paladin of Phreae.
Lv 1(Promoted)-3 (Promoted)


After the battle with Nergal Marcus returned to Phreae with Eliwood. Once there he dedicated his life to helping rebuild the slaughter of Elbert's knights.

He did eventually succeed in doing so, and then retired with honors.

Let me guess, he conveniently forgets to buy the one weakness our final foe has, even though I told him to.



Lowen Swift knight.

Died in Chapter 17x to a crit from a Pirate's killer axe. (Lv 2-8)

*sigh* I thought you could handle it, it was my fault.



Rebecca Master archer


Died in Chapter 28x to a crit from Dart (Lv 1- Lv 11 (Promoted))

And thus a family was ruined.



Bartre Wild axefighter
Lv 2-5


Bartre continued fighting from country to country until he fell in love. He and his wife one day had a daughter.

It is said that the wandering spirit in Bartre was in all three of them, and that they traveled from family to family.

Huh, maybe we even met his wife, if she's a wander.



Merlinus Great merchant
Lv 5-10(Promoted)


Merlinus opened up a shop in Ostia. It did great and made Merlinus a wealthy man.

Merlinus always thanked Illven, Hector, and Eliwood in his heart for giving him the confidence to open up his own store.

Priscilla Secluded princess.

Died in Chapter 16 to a Cavalier's Iron lance. (Lv 3-6)

Fiora Winged knight.
Lv 7-7


Fiora led a stellar record as commander of a whole fleet of Pegasus knights. She helped many poor families in Illa. And inspired a new generation of Pegasus knights,

Fiora's name was spoken highly all over Illa.

Legault. The hurricane.
Lv 12-13


Legault looked for the few remnants of the Black fang that remained. He sought to return the group to it's former glory or failing to that find a home.

Legault found a few survivors and then found a home in the same village of Nino, and Jaffar.

Isadora True Paladin.
Lv 1 (Promoted)-1 (Promoted)


Isadora went right back to serving Phreae after the final battle. She continued to refine her combat skills, and was hailed far and wide as the world's fastest Paladin.

When she wed, she retired from her position. She now has three children that she rises with love.

Who did she marry?



Heath Noble knight.
Lv 7-7


Heath became a simple wanderer after the final battle. Heath traveled from land to land helping people out.

No one can really say where Heath is at any moment, One can only hope that Heath will find them and aid them.

I'd rather have Florina helping me honestly.



Hawkeye The guardian of the Desert.
Lv 4 (Promoted)-4 (Promoted)


Hawkeye returned to the desert after the final battle. He spends his days training his daughter to take over the guardianship of the desert

He lived to see his grandchildren before dying.

I wonder if my siblings have children?



Geitz The wanderer.
Lv 3 (Promoted) Lv 4 (Promoted)


Geitz continued to wander after the final battle, searching for a purpose. Although he never stopped searching he died happily.

At least he died happy....



Farina The great wing
Lv 12-12


The rift between Farina and Fiora had grown too much for words or time to heal. Farina couldn't even attend Florina's wedding knowing Fiora would be there.

Eventually she would have gotten a promotion that would have required her to work under Fiora, at this time she resigned in the army, and took up farming.

Pent Unreasonable expectations Asian father/Louise Unconditional love giver
Lv 6 (Promoted)-17 (Promoted)/Lv 4 (Promoted)-4(Promoted)



Pent had the difficult task of explaining what happened to Priscilla. Thankfully for him the road to the shrine of seals, and ability to shift the blame onto Erk prevented him from being executed. He was merely fired.

However even through all of this Louise still talks to Erk, and invites him over on Erk's birthday. It is said that the chill in the room could kill dragons.

Well, I'm glad the book helped.



Harken Depressed knight.
Lv 8 (Promoted)-Lv 16 (Promoted)


Harken was promoted to General of Phreae after the final battle. Harken used his time to prepare the army for the coming war, and then when his work was done he took his life.

His funeral was a major event that all the Phrean knights attended.

Vaida Loyal rider
Lv 9 (Promoted)-Lv 9 (Promoted)


Vaida returned to Bern to serve Zephiel. Although she could not help openly, she stayed in the shadows and aided the Prince well.

Vaida was told in myth as the aide of shadows.

Renault Secret bishop
Lv 16 (Promoted)-Lv 16 (Promoted)


Renault disappeared after the final battle. No one knew his past, and no one could divine his future.

He disappeared without a trace, just like he wanted.

Athos died in a land not his own. Succumbing to the fiery wounds of dragons. His last words were words of warning, and judgment.

To this day Athos is a name that is said with much awe.

A tactician whose brilliance changed the course of history. Bern and Etruria so desired this skilled mind that they went to war.

For his part Illven spent his years wandering. If asked why he would respond that he was looking for home
