Libby gives a smile to her approacher.
"Waiting on someone else to get here, at the moment. But you could tell me if a new supply of that 'special' ice cream has arrived or not?"
New supply?

Oh right, she definitely didn't maybe steal the last one.

Yeah...giving yourself up like that? To a speedy predator?
Not really the best way to escape.

Especially a small, speedy predator that can just dart between the legs of other mall-goers, while you have to bumble around them like a madman.

Magtok probably shouldn't be surprised (especially when a grumpy "hey!" precludes it) when a small semi-robot lizard launches itself off of someone else's head aiming for his.

"Gah!"

Nooooo! No no nooooo! He was so close! Dana's was just a few yards away, he'd nearly made it! Dammit, Rhode! Magtok goes limp, hoping to bore the dinosaur and let him go free.

The man's eyebrows rise a bit, but he doesn't seem suspicious. "Oh? Not many people ask about that. We actually did get some more in. I'm guessing you'd like some when your friend arrives?"

Rhode looks entirely too pleased with himself as he bounces up and down (on top of his prey).

He doesn't seem to get bored particularly soon...
And also at some point drops a little six-inch cube of a gift box in front of the limb Magtok's face.

The reaper gives a small little head nod, pleased by the man's accurate assumption.
Not that her intent was terribly difficult.
"If possible, please. It was how he introduced me to the dessert, so it'd be fitting."

[Gullara]

[Dana's Place]

"Alright then. I'll be around with the ice cream when he gets here." With that, the man gives her a nod and goes about his work.

[Lord Magtok]

Just Outside Dana's Place

"Blargh..."

Oh, huh. Well that's weird, Magtok could've sworn the present was going to be the very same assault he'd been running away from up until now. Better open it, then. Maybe it'll get this dinosaur off his back, both literally and figuratively, and then he can head off into Dana's.

"Okay, great. I'm gonna get back to what I was doing now. Talk to you later." Ad with that, Syela leaves.

Once Syela is gone, Dorota walks over to Crissy and tries to wrap her arms around the half-elf's waist.
"You know, it's our anniversary as well, apart from Sizewell's birthday..."

Crissy blushes, shifting just enough to try and wrap her arms around Dorota as well, resting her head on the alchemist's shoulder.
"Wow. It seems like it was just yesterday..." she whispers.

[Morty]

"I know," Dorota says, holding Crissy close. "But I think we should do something special to celebrate."

[The Bushranger]

"I agree." Crissy turns her head, kissing Dorota's neck. "We should, like, get a cake or something! But what did you have in mind, love?"

[Morty]

[Erin's Emporium]

Dorota responds first by kissing Crissy's cheek.
"I'm not sure... we could go somewhere, spend an evening together..."

"Not a party." Crissy giggles a little nervously, and blushes, smiling happily. "But maybe somewhere nice and quietly romantic..."

[Morty]

[Erin's Emporium]

"Mhm. Just for the two of us. Should I come up with something or do you want to do it?" Dorota asks.

"How 'bout this anniversary you do it, and I'll totally do it for the next one?" Crissy asks, snuggling closer and closing her eyes wit a sigh of happiness.

A half-ghost and a selkie in a bikini walk into a mall...

Pavati looks around with interest at the inside of the mall. "I've seen this place from a ways away, but I never did come inside. It sure is a big place." A bit claustrophobic too with all these people. It doesn't help that she's so low to the ground because of the way she has to walk.

"It's a pretty popular place," Erin agrees with a nod, smiling encouragingly as she steers them in the direction of Viconia's Secret.

"Yeah, I got that feeling." Pavati will continue to take in the sights as they approach the store. Once they're there, she comments. "I'm guessing this is the place." The displays no doubt make it obvious.

"Yeah. I assume you'll be wanting something practical, right?" Erin will steer them torwards the...ahem...larger sizes. "Some are tattoo-like, you magically attune to them and they vanish while still providing full support."

[Gullara]

[Viconia's Secret]

"Uh, I'll just get a normal one I think. Just as long as it solves my problem, I'll be happy with it." Pavati says. Erin can probably convince her to get something a little more fun with little effort, though.

"Are you sure, though? I mean, yeah, practical is good, but it's also...well, boring. Eventually you'll want something that's both practical and stylish, for those special evenings, y'know?" Erin pauses. "We'll need to get some shirts, too..."

She isn't so sure about the practicality of selkie pants.

Pavati chuckles a little. "Alright, practical and stylish then. I'll need you to help me find something good, so I'll listen to you. Whatever you think I need." Hopefully Erin doesn't misuse her new power over Pavati's wardrobe.

Erin grins happily, and Shopping Commences!

She'll try to steer Pavati torwards a few lacy, red bras for support. And one a bit lacier in black. As well as some surprisngly comfortable and modest tee-shirts, and a few button-ups too!

And she'll also try to sell her on at least one low-cut halter top. >>

Pavati is quite cooperative with Erin and her taste in clothing. It looks pretty nice actually. She goes for the halter top too, not seeing any reason why not to. Once they're done buying everything, Pavai is dressed in one of her tee-shirts and the rest of her clothing is folded away in her bag.

"Thanks a lot, Erin. I really appreciate it." She didn't miss that this had cost Erin something, even though she isn't familiar with currency in this form. "Do you think we could look for one thing maybe? I was hoping to get something I could put on my hands. Using them to walk so much isn't easy." She holds up her webbed hands, showing off the callouses she's getting. "I think if there was something that could go over the palms of my hands, it'd be much better."

"No problem! That's what friends are for." Erin smiles brighty, then gets a thoughtful look at the question. "Hmmm. Well, I think I might be able to find something. Probably not here though. Some variant on gloves might work..."

Meanwhile, a package is opened!

The plain wrappings of the box are removed to...reveal another box?
This one seems solid, rather than a container however.

A little pale blue cube, bordered and etched in gold. The etchings jot around the sides of the cube largely at random, it seems, although the very strict right angles they take make them additions rather than natural formations upon the cube.

No moving parts anywhere though.
No instructions.

"Yeah, sure. If you got any ideas, I'm all ears." The selkie says. It's sure nice to have someone to help her out with this stuff.

Just Outside Dana's Place => No Longer Outside It

Oh, look! It's a...erm...umm...a cube thing! No idea what it does or how it works, though. Maybe there's a button or a password or something? Magtok tries tinkering with the thing, moving it from his left hand to his right, spinning it around and rotating the cube all about. Maybe it's a Jedi holocron? He tries thinking at it really hard, wondering if it'll try to impart some wise space monk lesson about honor and humility. That'd make for a good laugh or two, wouldn't it?

"Hi Libby. Looks like I got a mystery cube."

He takes the seat nearest the courier of souls, still so terribly focused on this enigma box he hardly looks her way for more than a moment. Speak, strange device! What dark secrets lie beneath your cerulean veil?!

"I might actually be able to fix something up myself, you know. It'd be a custom job but it would make things a lot more comfortable," Erin offers with a smile.
