Yuki blinks a few times, then gazes up at Emi. "...so your father left you to die as a child, then? But you survived. So why do you still say you shouldn't exist? You have."

"Well when you put it that way, it makes me sound insane..." She leans back like in the picture, but with her arms folded in front of her. "Except that once he found out, he's tried to kill me every so often. It's why I became a ninja. Although I should be safe here in the Nexus."

Turning around fully, Yuki looks Emi in the eyes. He sighs, and pats the stool beside him. "Please, sit down. It seems as though it's something that's really stressing you out. Talking has always been one of the most effective cures. So perhaps you should start at the beginning. Why did your father try to kill you?"

((Counselor!Yuki. He is a doctor... ))

Mimi flies into the mall and looks around. Wow, this place is so big. How is she ever supposed to find what she's looking for? The pixie flies down the concourse, looking and listening for any sign of her goal.

A tall drow woman enters the mall dressed in more casual wear then usual with a red t-shirt with the tag "Sword Dancer" paired with a pair of tight blue jeans.

When Dena gets to the magic shop, she'll see an older merchant-man behind the counter, human and balding, arguing with another man. The second one, the customer, is about five and a half feet tall and of slight build, but the way the slim tunic falls on his shoulders and chest shows that he's able-bodied and quite athletic. At first glance, the man appears sick, but on a second look it's revealed that his entire body has a slightly green tinge to it. Even his shoulder length brown hair has a green tint to it in the light. His white tunic is tucked into simple brown trousers, but his shoulders and upper arms are covered in a light chainmail, implying that he might have a tad more on underneath it all.

On his right hip lays a morning star, and a kite shield is strapped to his back. Oddly, it almost looks like he's wearing black lace around his neck, but closer inspection will reveal that it's a tattoo around his neck. Overall, he'd be a moderately attractive young man, except his face is in his hand as he sighs in annoyance. "I just want to return the ointment since I haven't used it. You never said anything about it degrading in light before."

"And I said that it had to be used, didn't I?" The merchant replies with a hint of annoyance and anger to his own voice. "No return."

Well, well, what do we have here?

"Do you treat all your customers like this? Or are you just having a particular bad day?" Dena asks as she confidentially steps into the shop, looking at the shop keeper curiously while pretending to glance on one of his most expensive wares.

"Just with me most likely." The green man admits before the shop-keeper can mention anything. After closing his eyes and taking a deep breath to calm his mind, he tilts his head towards the owner slightly. "Apologies. I hope in the future I won't be inclined to give into such rashness." He says before nodding toward Dena. "And thanks for the interruption, Ms...?" He asks, looking over her body.

As for the "more expensive item", Dena will find a small hand crossbow labeled with directions saying that any bolt fired from it will strike the person holding it instead.

"It isn't easy being green." Dena quips with a shake of her head. "In any case, I'm Dena Xifara, and you?" She gives him a curious look.

"Sometimes it's easier than you know." The man replies with a wry smile as he looks up at her. His eyes stop when he sees the words "Sword Dancer" stretched across her chest and cogs in his head obviously begin to turn, but he's smart enough to keep those thoughts to himself. "Initiate Bramwell."

"Oh, I ensure you that it's even easier being black. You know what they say about black after all." Dena comments as she starts to slowly wander deeper into the store, expecting him to follow. "So dare I ask what exactly you're a initiate of? I'm a sword dancer, obviously." She had noticed his look and it made her smile.

Given the sheer number of shops with their perpetually open doors, it would definitely be a dizzying experience for those uninitiated to the controlled chaos and noise of hundreds of pedestrians roming the halls and byways of the mall.

Still, if she were dilligent, the pixie might eventually locate at least a few places that might fit the description she was seeking. One appeared to be some kind of jewelry shop by the name of Newtonmire's although some of the wares appeared to be somewhat.. Arcane in design. Another appeared to be an active goldsmith's forge called Ironshod Apparel although it would be clear that some magic was keeping the smoke and soot from building up inside the contained area. Or from leaking out and poisoning the air around it for that matter. A third was less a shop and more of a stall run by people wearing gold circlets and passing out pamphlets as well as selling some kind of religious iconography. They seemed to be friendly folk if a bit odd, at least.

Mimi stops, hovering in the air. Partially to make her decision, but also to get her bearings. This place is so big and loud and there's so much to see. After a bit of thought, the pixie flies into Newtonmire's. Her torc is jewelry after all, right? Once inside, Mimi goes poking around, not being very conspicuous about it nor mindful of places she shouldn't be.

A lust priestess walks into a mall...

Patty strides into the mall, wearing a comfortably tight aqua dress and accessories, and heads in the direction of the first clothing store she sees.

Where one can find all manner of clothing!

Patty may note a half-black dragon girl shopping amongst the aisles, and is the only person inside at the moment. She seems a bit nervous, as her tail twitches from side to side.

Patty eyes the offerings for few minutes, studying mage outfits with curiosity, and her path takes her in a direction that angles torwards her fellow shopper...

"Good afternoon. Something on your mind?" she asks pleasantly.

If Patty can sense such things, there's a transmutative divine enchantment on the girl. It's rather powerful, so it may have been given directly by a deity or from a very powerful priest.

"Oh, nothing, really. Just... you know. Shopping," and she scoots away. Now that she's closer, Patty may note a dress in her arms; a dress with different proportions than Ormirrah has. Specifically, actual cleavage, and it's built for longer legs.

And she looks at the dress curiously, even as she discreetly tries to determine just what sort of transmutation magic is involved...
"Do you think this would look good on me?" she asks, holding up a surpisingly modest black dress.

The transmutation effect is fairly minor, and is only about a month old. The big thing it does, however, is changed the proportions of the subject to... that of what she's wearing at the time. in fact, if she was to wear men's clothes, she'd turn into a man outright. Chances are that's what she's nervous about, and the reason for the dress.

"It, uh, I think it would look good on you."

"Thanks. I think that one would suit you, too," Patty says with a breaking-the-ice smile. "My name's Patty, by the way - Patricia O'Connell. What's yours?"

[Halae]

"Ormirrah Shaendra," the half-dragon says, "I don't know if it would fit me though. Seems a bit too large, doesn't it? I guess I'll just... put it back,"

Oh how the awkwardness flows.

"Oh, I don't know," Patty says, shaking her head a little. "Sometimes when you take a chance...magical things happen."

[Halae]

Ormirrah blinks for a moment, before closing the distance between them and whispering, "You aren't related to Eris somehow, are you?"

Patty blinks in surprise.
Then shakes her head emphatically.
"Discord? Hardly. I'm actually High Priestess of a...different goddess, though."
And she lifts the necklace she wears - a silver crescent - looking to see if it's recognised.

[Halae]

"I, er, I met Eris during Halloween, and she sort of cast a spell on me. You're sort of detecting that, aren't you?" There's no sign of recognition in her eyes towards the pendant though.

"...yes. I don't mean to pry, of course, but...well, it comes with the priestesshood. Have you heard of Angela?" Patty asks.

[Halae]

[Arcane Threads]

Ormirrah shakes her head, "I haven't. Is that who you're the high priestess towards?"

[The Bushranger]

[Arcane Threads]

"Yes, it is. Angela, Goddess of Lust."
...and here Patty waits for the running-away-screaming to start.

And yet, that preparation goes to waste, as it never comes, "Look it's, uh, nice to have someone who knows about this too. I've been almost too embarassed to even go out in public. I decided I may as well get some outfits to try it out... you know?"

"Yeah, I do." Patty smiles, looking relieved. "If you'd like, I could help? Or at least make sure nobody comes around the changing rooms while you're trying them on?"
