Ormirrah blushes, her scales - oddly - Turning from their normal almost-black-green color to a dark red, "Thanks, I'd appreciate that. I've never been good at picking out clothes."

"No problem!" Patty smiles cheerfully, and encouragingly. "I can make a few suggestions, and you can go from there."

And she'll steer her new friend in the direction of some comfortably modest outfits.

That's certainly appreciated. Ormirrah will pull out a few different tops, but, like her current outfit, none of them seem to really match her well, no matter their proportions. The coloration is off, for one.

"Hmm. You know, maybe this would be better?" Patty pulls out a comforatble, almost peasant-style outfit in a shade that perfectly matches Ormirrah's scales. "The color on the others is a little off, but I think this would work well..."

[Halae]

Ormirrah looks at it oddly, before nodding, "Yeah, I think I see what you mean. it looks good." She puts the other shirts back for now and will take the peasant-shirt from Patty.

And then she grins, "Look, you're better at this than me, right? Bring over some clothes while I'm in the change room, I'll try them on, ok?" and then she scurries off with the shirt Patty pulled out, assuming she got it from the priestess. She'll head into the changing room to... well, change.

"Sure thing." Patty grins back, and sets about selecting a few dresses of similar proportions. And one that is black and rather more daringly cut...with somewhat...larger proportions to fill.

[Halae]

Ormirrah will come back out of the changing room to show Patty relatively quickly, her body having changed to shape to the shirt she was handed. Blushing, she seems rather embarassed by the transformation in front of patty, but puts on a good face, "Alright, what's... oh, wow. Really?"

Blushing a bit harder now.

"You look wonderful in it!" Patty says, honestly, nodding after a quick examination. "And really...but you don't have to try it on here, if you don't want to. It would fit me perfectly...so I'll buy it, and you can take it home, but if you're not comfortable in it I'll take it, but if you are, you can keep it as a gift."

[Halae]

"No, it's fine!" Ormirrah says hastily, "Really, it's fine. Give it here and I'll try it on!" she moves to take the dress, and will get into it if nothing stops her, before showing patty.

Patty won't stop her, but is a little surprised at the sudden boldness!
And when the dress is modeled...she oohs and ahhs a bit, grinning. "Oh, goodness. That looks marvelous on you..."

Ormirrah blushes again, "You really think so? I... well, I've never really looked like this before, you know? It's rather nice."

"I do," Patty declares, nodding emphatically. "Now, you will turn heads in that, mind, so if you don't want to be attracting attention, it's not the choice for you. But if you like it, it's wonderful."

[Halae]

Ormirrah smiles, still blushing, "I really have no idea what I want. Anyways, let's keep going. Find something else, will you?" Ormirrahs hands go to her chest, feeling their new girth a bit before she stands awkwardly back to normal.

Patty giggles softly, and will steer Ormirrah in the direction of a few comfortable T-shirt-and-skirt type combinations, in sizes that match her new/current figure. "...and what about jewelry?"

[Halae]

Ormirrah hears 'Jewellery' and immediately cringes, "I don't... you know... wear jewellery." She will, of course, get into the shirt and skirt that Patty provides for her

"Alright." Patty happens to be curious as to the severe adverse reaction, but doesn't press the issue. "Say, when we're done here, would you like to head to the food court with me?"

[Halae]

"Sure," Ormirrah says, smiling. I imagine they'll get Ormirrah to try on a few more outfits before heading out, with the half-dragon back in her normal garb t be back to her normal shape.

It's a whirlwind of try-ons!

Patty winds up getting only a scarf for herself.

"So, how long have you been in the Nexus?" she asks as they head out.

[Halae]

[Arcane Threads -> Food Court]

"About eight months. I've heard that some people have a lot more things happen to them in that sort of timeframe. I guess I'm lucky i got away with just this." Ormirrah says

"Yeah. I've heard of one poor girl who's lost count of the number of things that have happened to her in the year or so she's been here. But still, it's a neat place, isn't it?" Patty asks.

[Halae]

[Arcane Threads]

Ormirrah nods, getting into line at a Beef and Burrito's, "Yeah, it is. And the people here are a lot nicer to me than in my homeworld."

[The Bushranger]

[Food Court]

"Oh? I'm...well, sorry to hear things were bad there, but glad to hear you're doing better here," Patty says, as she plans to drop theget a chalupa.

[Halae]

"Well, They're justified. When you live in fear of dragons all the time, you learn to hate them," Doesn't make it hurt any less though, does it? Ormirrah will order a bean burrito for herself when it comes her turn to order.

Patty orders two chalupas! Chocobo supreme.
"Just because the dragons are mean and nasty doesn't mean all of them are," Patty points out. Some of her best friends are dragons!

[Halae]

"Neither are criminals," Ormirrah says, "But people tend to be wary of them all the same," she shakes her head, "Anyways, it doesn't matter so much. It's not the same here."

Patty frowns a bit, but doesn't press the point.
"It is. There are some places where it's not quite so nice, but in the main city it's wonderful."

[Halae]

[Arcane Threads]

"Can never seem to find proper work, though. I've been living off the treasure I made before I came to the Nexus."

Which means... she's got jewellery. Why would she say she doesn't wear it?

"Well, as long as you have enough of a nest egg, it's better to be able to relax and enjoy life, isn't it?" Patty suggests, raising an eyebrow.

[Halae]

[Arcane Threads]

Ormirrah sighs, "Maybe, but it gets pretty boring at times."

"Have you considered mercenary work? It might suit you."

Patty nods in agreement with that. "True. Maybe you could try adventuring?" she suggests with a grin.
