Default What If Lurk Used Inspiration?

Or a fuel similar to it?
Like, we know that Lurk is a kinda ok class. The abilities aren’t terrible, but not super strong either. And we also know that they, like the Psywar, suffer from a dearth of power points.

What if instead of PP, they used a /encounter point system like the Factotum does? How would you implement it?

This sort of already exists with abilities that just eat your psionic focus.
The lurk has a lot of out of combat utility and balancing that with in combat power ramp is part of playing the class.

Neither Lurk nor Psychic Warrior have too few power points. The Lurk's problem is its weak chassis for a thief archetype, which forces you to spend those PP doing basic things like staying undetected, bypassing hazards and dealing with social problems, instead of them being available to handle the things that your skills can't cover. (Not to mention they lack probably the best school in the game for infiltration, illusion.)

Anyway, I'd just gestalt it with Psychic Rogue or Psithief, dump psionic sneak attack and call it a day.
