    Bump.

    Ideas? Comments?

Do you think we could have oceans and landmasses in an underground world?

Ok, this might sound weird, but stay with me for a second.

What if the world is literally manufactured? You could go back to the inverted gravity. Now it's artificial gravity created by the planet-ship spinning. Some kind of wizard spaceship. Generations live and die on the ship, factions form, people forget. It would also explain why nobody ever goes above ground. Nothing out there but the cold vacuum of space.

Sorry, but this is a fantasy world, not a sci-fi world...

re. underground oceans: It's not a huge leap. A group of seismologists found what they're calling an ocean deep underground.

It's an area of rock supersaturated with water. The amount of water present is apparently at least the same as the amount of water in the arctic ocean. Not an amount to be sneezed at

    Article here: http://www.livescience.com/1312-huge...red-earth.html

It can't be much of a jump from that to a body of water we'd consider an ocean. Or perhaps a really big lake.

For the colour* thing, I suggest you simply continue experimenting with emblems and seeing what works. White might be a nice air colour though, since that's the same as clouds. But then, the sky is also blue.

Oh wait, underground, right. My bad, ignore the above. Hmm. Perhaps a bit of fluff relating to a mythical figure who made it to some far away place where the ceiling was blue unlike anything s/he'd ever seen?

*yes, I'm from that side of the pond

Colorful ceiling sounds like a brilliant idea!

Here's a homebrew RPG system used for this world.

The introduction to Treskri has been revised.

A friend suggested I make a PDF, but I feel too much is missing - for example, half of the noble houses are not described.

Ok, I am thinking that making it a Magitech world would help solve some problems and explain some stuff, like why the elves are so impeccably clean and the lower the race is on the scale, the more dirty they are (the idea was mythos-based, but then, if I need to insert techy stuff to avoid immersion-breaking, let it be!)
