Mia smiles. This guy sounds like he has at least a bit of knowledge.

"I create them myself. They can heal seriouse wounds without problems and depending on the energie I spend they can repair body parts like an eye or such. You can ask Adir or Cornelia, if you don't belive me."

"Do you now?" Yuki smiles up at her. He flips out his scalpel and presses it lightly to the palm of his hand. "Perhaps you would care to give me a simple demonstration?"

I suppose the two end up at the Training Grounds then, with Ilpholin somewhat behind Darcy. Maybe even hiding behind her?

"Doesn't DC do business in Riverside? Maybe it'll be easiest to ask him to have his people probe a little," Wenomir says with a little shrug. "We are pretty recognizable, especially if the survivors from the last temple talked to the other ones. Actual Watchtower members shouldn't show themselves there before we attack. When we do, I'll take charge and bring... two members with me, I think."

The mage seems surprised at Wenomir's declaration. "Two members? Shouldn't you bring more? I think it would be more effective if we had more then one group attacking the temple from different entry points. But then again, I have no real experience with strategy."

Malkor isn't found by the scrying spell. Either he's been protected from such divination or he's under ground. However, a boarder search looking for, say, his minions will bring up plenty of results.

Trolls, weights, and revenants, and other nasty things dot the landscape. Some in small numbers, others in larger sieges assaulting villages. Given the vast nature of the periphery of the Nexus it shouldn't come as much of a surprise that there is trouble brewing at all times. But before these attacks would have seemed like disconnected events. Now that a name has been assigned to their master suddenly the sheer scale of their malignant influence is clear.

This is totally a wuh oh! moment.

Hey look, it's Fredrick! The young man is heading toward the entrance of the tower no doubt with the intent of meeting up with the others. Hopefully Wenomir informed someone that he would be coming.

"Um, Wenomir?" Darcy says. "I'm - we're back."

"Right... looks like his minions are running rampant, but no sign of the man himself," Wenomir says. "Maybe if we take out some of them, we can get his whereabouts out of them."

For convenience's sake, let's say that Freddie will be allowed to head to the Observatory to join the rest.

"It's not a big temple," Wenomir says. "A small strike team will be easier to control and can do a lot of damage."

Wenomir is, needless to say, very much surprised to see both of them. I think it's also the first time Darcy has seen him since his demon blood was removed. By now his skin has got considerably darker.
"I... didn't expect to see you both here. What about AMEN?"

"Hi Wenomir." Ilpholin says. "We decided that doesn't matter anymore."

Darcy puts an arm around Ilpholin's waist and squeezes her gently.

Wenomir looks between Ilpholin and Darcy. Doesn't matter anymore? It doesn't sound like Ilpholin. But... the thing between her and Darcy might have changed her perspective. Hm. He would be less suspicious if it wasn't for the plans Darcy revealed to them. But then, maybe Darcy managed to persuade Ilpholin to leave AMEN afterwards? Dammit. He's not good at this sort of thing.
"So you're no longer the leader of AMEN?" he asks Ilpholin.

"Well... umm... I guess I sorta still am, kinda?"

Darcy gives Ilpholin a look that manages to be both puzzled and disappointed at the same time. "You are?"

Wenomir rubs the back of his head.
"Complicated, you say. I'd like an explanation all the same. Just so I know where we stand."

Wenomir blinks slowly. Did he just hear what he thinks he did? Merciful Perun.
"Split yourself... in two? So there's one you who came back here and another you who's still running AMEN?"

"Sounds reasonable enough..." Shinako says, "there sure are a lot of attacks though, you all do have some kinda army or at least special forces to take care of this, right?"

"Or is it all just up to us adventurers?"

Mia hit's the robot with her staff and after a moments one arm starts to move. The arm offers Mia a platform to jump on. The arm will bring her down to the ground. She takes a look of the wound he caused himself. Before she speaks up.

"No." she sais while shaking her head. "I don't think Deus Mechanicus would allow this."

[Morty]

"Very well, you're the expert." The sorceress says with a subtle shrug. "So which members are you going to pick then? We might need to handpick them rather then to just ask around. We want some teamwork after all."

Wenomir rubs his chin.
"Hmmm. I think I'll take Shawna. It's been a while since she was in action. I'll also bring Yazon along. He proved himself when those gnolls attacked a while ago, and we'll need someone to watch our backs."

Spyridon doublechecks the location on both a map and the Observatory's display. Then he meets with Adir and fills him in. Should we tell the Oracles about this?

"It's probably for the best. I'll page them," Adir says, drawing one of KR's pagers from his pocket and messaging their four glorious leaders:

Got Cuthun activity in city called Seaside. Would like a quick talk with one of you.

"That should do it," He says in a dry tone, palming the pager back out've sight. "I'm guessing we're gonna need a team to investigate. You coming along?"

The necromancer gives the pager a curious look, then pulls the hood of his emerald robe over his eyes. He's not terribly comfortable with the idea of coming under the scrutiny of Watchtower's leaders. I would like to, if you will have me.

"Of course. I mean, you can fight, right? We'll probably have to hand out a lot've ass-beatings, with this bunch," Adir grins at the mage.

Yuki sighs and shrugs, a faint smile on his mouth. Flipping his scalpel away, his palm showing the faintest of scratches. Even as Mia stares, it seems to be slowly closing up. "Hey, I haven't even done anything yet."

"Ah well. I suppose I'll have to see what they can do some other time. Still, could I take a look at them anyway?"

Although I have not been trained as a battlemage, and have rarely seen combat, I know a few arcane spells that were developed for conflict. In addition, if I have a dozen minutes to complete a ritual without being disrupted, I can summon ghosts and wraiths. ...There is also... this. Spyridon pulls out an anti-magic dagger from an inner pocket. It has a glowing bloodstain on the blade. It has cut through protective enchantments... And a Goddess who tried to kill me.

"You must be kidding. You can't just... stab gods," Adir looks at the dagger with wide, curious eyes. "Whaddya think it'd do to a demon?"

[FireFox]

She was extremely surprised. He puts the dagger away and shrugs. I hypothesize that it would cut clean through a demon's innate defenses, but would not hurt the demon as much as a blessed weapon. Furthermore, I lack the strength to kill a demon with a single hit.

We should probably aim for the more intelligent minions, eh? Maybe interrogate the buggers! Tenny exclaims, slamming his fist into his palm. Probably don't want any of the undead ones though. Tend to be a bit harder to interrogate!
