The card system is one of the best parts of Baten Kaitos, though the way the cards were also objects within the game world was fairly irritating.

As for Crystal Chronicles - I enjoyed singleplayer, but multiplayer is far better. The necessity for GBAs and adapters is extremely irritating, but there's a good chance that those are available.
I would really like to see a game made by Obryn, Kurald Galain, and Knaight from these forums.

I'm not joking one bit. I would buy the hell out of that.

Question about the Zelda games for the Wii/Gamecube: do they have the greatest Legend of Zelda Character in them:

I refuse to play any Zelda game that does not have the legendary and awesome Tingle in it.

Wind Waker has one, he is in fact a fairly major character. Neither of the Wii games have it.

Hey, what's not awesome about some little kid that's way hyperactive and can use a mystic art in stupid kid ways or some weird old man that thinks he's a fairy and sells maps? They'd make a pretty awesome team. Tingle and Meelo. I can see it now.

The newest iteration of Wii is NOT backwards compatible and has no controller ports, so even Wii games that require a special peripheral are a no-go. The previous iteration is the one you want (controller ports + motion plus included). The ones before that will require a motion plus add-on for your remotes.

Are you perhaps confusing the Wii and WiiU? Two separate systems there.

That said, for third party games, I recommend Okami, which is awesome, and if you've played it on the PS2, try it again. Try the Wii version of RE4, it's a completely different game from one using a controller. You can even plug in a GB controller and see the difference for yourself.

Also, Bully. Metric tons more fun on the Wii.

I really liked the Force Unleashed on the Wii. It's a totally different game than the PS3, or 360, or even PC versions. And it's tons of fun.

As in, conflating the two would be like conflating the Xbox with the Xbox 360. And an iPad.

If this was directed at me, no, I am not.

As for games: I think most of the good ones have already been said. My personal favorites include Super Smash Bros: Brawl, Okami, Super Paper Mario, and Elebits.

You know, based on what I've heard Super Paper Mario isn't as good as Super Scissors Mario, but it is better than Super Rock Mario.

I dunno, I hear a lot of people say that rock is better than scissors. They still say paper's better than rock.

Really sorry for the double post, but I have an important question about the Wii and I didn't think to ask it before. Does it use memory cards or what? How do I save game progress? Just wondering if I have to buy something else. Sorry if this is a stupid question.

No, it saves to the memory on the system itself. I don't know whether it has a limit worth worrying about, but I never ran into one myself.

You will need Gamecube memory cards for games from that system, however.

You happen to have posted just before I refreshed the forum, and the question was easy to answer. Works out nicely that.

Next time I'll have to think of a more difficult question then.
