    Violetta seems to have missed an important detail. That, or she's just God-awful at interpersonal communication. Bluntly telling Fizz that her best friend got carried off by torso-stealing Star Things prrrrrooooobably wasn't the most delicate or tactful way to break the news.

    I have some facts about Stable 111! If anypony's interested, read further!

    East of Hollow Shades, Vault 111 was originally inhabited solely by unicorns; all references to pegasi and earth ponies was removed, various historical figures (such as the Ministry Mares, but not the Princesses, griffins or zebras) had their species changed to unicorn. Approximately fifty years ago, the Stable opened for trade with the outside, letting 10 unicorns out to scout for others. Three returned with settlers, including earth ponies. One stumbled onto a band of raiders and was tortured; before he died, he revealed the location of the Stable, and they later attacked. The Stable security forces, bolstered by earth pony settlers and merchant guards, managed to fend off the attack, though it was very close. The Overmare promptly decided the Wasteland was too hostile, and ordered the mechanism for opening the Stable from outside disabled and invited all the surviving settlers inside before closing it again. Since then, the inhabitants have corrected as much of their history as they can and the earth ponies are accepted. A few of the older ponies in the Stable still think they're horribly mutated unicorns that don't know any different, however.

    @Lycan: Alright, I don't know how much you can actually say, given that you are the DM and all, but I'll posit the question anyway: Is Bucky doomed if we go to sleep now?

    OOC, I suspected we'd get some sort of hook/chance to do something about him, and I'm not sure if that critical window is now or not. On the one hoof, I can think of some plans that might get us abducted (along with some hapless Brahmin) and give us the chance for a rescue mission right now. On the other, Fleetwing got a description of the aliens star-light-pony-things taking off into the sky, and Fizz gave us a day when they usually come around, so it could also be the case that we'd actually stand a chance of getting intentionally abducted if we act then. But if we have to move now, then we might be needlessly condemning an NPC to death without realizing what we're doing OOC.

    IC, Fleetwing wants nothing more than to turn tail and run, but I can see him getting guilted into helping. So it's still somewhat relevant to him/me.

    I'll be honest. There is nothing you can do for Bucky. As you seem to have forgotten, the lights didn't fly off into the distance. They flew up. Into the sky. As in, they left. Soooo, unless you can find some way to contact deep space, there's not much your characters can do to get their attention and/or help Bucky right now.

    ...alright, the honesty is certainly appreciated. I would ask more, but I feel like anything you might say would only spoil what's potentially yet to come with Girdershade. And voicing my concerns right now would get me either aforementioned spoilers, disappointment, or "no comment." So for now, I'll keep going on with the scene, see what happens, and trust your DM-ing.

    I assumed Fleet and Violetta had left the museum to retreat to the shed, hence why I went ahead and had Fizz give the ghouls a tour.

    Also, there was the fact that, y'know, being in an enclosed space with Fizz is, um, deadly. Soooo, I assumed you'd want your characters far away from toxic radiation deathmurder...

    If memory serves, I don't think she's figured out TK yet, so it would have to be in her hooves or mouth. I think, anyhow. Best to wait for Purity's word on it.

    Also, I hope it isn't too much of a stretch to give Fleetwing passing knowledge of memory orbs. Despite his age and relatively sequestered upbringing, he's been around enough that it seemed likely he'd at least know what they were and their general purpose.

    Two things I'm waiting on before I'm ready:

    1) Violetta going to sleep, and

    2) Seeing if anypony would wake up and offer to take over the watch for Fleetwing in the night. Because unless anypony offers, he'll stay up most of the night, lightly dozing off only for a few hours here and there.

    In all honesty, that would be a very short scene, but it's one that I would like to RP out if it happens.

    At least he didn't have the pleasure of seeing a spilled-out satchel of chems next to them. They must've had a wild time in the five minutes or so they were out of sight.
