Re: Things You Never Noticed III: The Search for Spot
The planet in the main setting has two continents shaped a bit oddly - until you realize there is a continent "chunk" in the west, north, and south, not the east, which makes sense due to the lack of eastern gods. You can see it more clearly in SOD during the crayon flashbacks if you have it, but otherwise, check it out here: http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0639.html
But the plant that Black wing reports in the Azure City Rift has land equally spread across all the points of the map - as though there were to be a domain for the northern, southern, Eastern AND western gods. http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0672.html
And what about the first world made by all the gods seen in Shojo's retellings? It matches... The current world. Possibly as though the gods created the world the same way twice, possibly as though Shojo, lacking knowledge of it appearance, imagined it to be the same as the current world. http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0273.html
Not really a full theory, just something I noticed that I thought was kinda neat.Last edited by DaggerPen; 2014-05-18 at 07:00 AM.
