Not outside of his office, he isn't. That cyborg's just been so withdrawn lately, hasn't he? He used to be so much more comfortable around the other AMENites. I think it's because he's realized he's not qualified to rule them. Messed with his ego a little. Blagh.

So there soon will be new people running around, who appear as human and who are dragons. Live will even get harder.

"Nothing noteworthy, just a personal thing." He shrugs and hopes that will be enougth for the boss.

Maybe go find Isabelle or Shayan then, the two people whose ends of the plan she's least concerned about.

"Uh-huh... well, alright. I'm glad we had this talk, but I still have a lot of preparations and work to do." The door behind Zefir opens up for him.

A small wind attemps to close the door, it's not very strong so any resistance can stop it.

"There are other reasons I went here expect my room." Zefir mentions. he just hopes she isn't to annoyed yet.

Well since the door is controlled mechanically, I don't think it will close from a small wind.

But it closes of its own accord anyways. She thought Zefir was done with everything since they had moved on to other topics.

"What else did you need to speak to me about?"

"... That's ok. I think it will be wholly unnecessary. So, you're a clergyman on top of everything else? Who's Medee?" Ilpholin asks, moving on.

Clegg laughs out loud. WAS. Was. No' anymore. I served fer a very brief time as a clergyman fer th' Cylarian Church of Medee befer startin' trainin' fer becomin' an Inspector. Medee is the goddess of Justice and Execution. She's th' one tha' di' thi' t' me after I dishonoured th' code.... accidentally...what wit' th' whole Reinholdt incident.

Hey, look, at some other point in time when there's not people already talking to Ilpholin, Isabelle decides to show up and knock on her door!

With a squirrel on her shoulder.

"The one that you were unfairly blamed for and cursed even though it wasn't your fault and he deserved worse?" Ilpholin asks.

Clegg glares now, judging her facial expressions, if there are any. Yes. Tha' one. I 'aven't foun' 'im yet. Bu' when I do...I will personally make sure 'e gets wot 'e deserves....even if not by my 'and...'e will pay fer wot 'e did t' me...

"Hi Ilpholin." Isabelle steps inside, a happy smile on her face as usual. "Hope I'm not interrupting anything, but I figured you'd probably want to see the prototype for the vermin we'll be using in Riverside. Heh, prototype is an odd word. Can I really call an animal a prototype anyway? It sounded science-y though!"

No facial expressions to judge. Too much drow time.
She was looking to see if Clegg would flip out again though. On this he passed. Or rather failed. She was hoping he would. Make him predictable. Easier to control. Ah well, he still could be useful.

"One last question. Where do you see AMEN and yourself in ten years?"

"I don't see why you can't." Ilpholin says, looking the prototype over. "Looks pretty normal to me." That's a compliment.

"At a glance, yes, it should look pretty normal." Isabelle picks the squirrel up and places the creature on Ilpholin's desk. "If you look a little closer though, you'll see what's different about it."

And indeed if Ilpholin does look closer, she'll see the squirrel is quite a bit fluffier than your average squirrel.

"I didn't make this little fellow my friend the normal way, I just befriended him over the course of a couple of days. Shayan said they need to naturally be quite tame, you see, to ensure they come in close contact with a lot of people."

All in all, I 'onestly don't care too much abou' th' Organization as a whole. Bu' I like t' break, steal, and harm things...so, why th' 'ell shoul' I no' come 'ere!

Ilpholin considers petting it, but decides against it with something specifically designed for carrying a plague.

"That's probably a good idea. What's the normal way?"

Clegg grins. Excellent! So, wot shall I start wit' doin'? Anythin' special?

"Maybe a speech therapist." Ilpholin mutters to herself.

"Actually just getting an aquatic ship like the one you claimed to be after will be most beneficial. I want you to concentrate on that foremost."

"Magic of course! I don't have time to make friends with all my animals. So I just...make them my friends."

Well that cleared things up nicely.

"The changes made to the squirrel were all according to Shayan's instructions. They're what she recommended would work best."

Isabelle peers thoughtfully at Ilpholin for a moment.

"There's one more big change. Well, two more. But one of them hasn't been implemented yet. The last change is the tricky part. Going to take a lot of squirrels to get that one right. Do you have a heater in here or something? I'd appreciate it if you turned the heat up a little."

[Ipholin's Office - Isabelle]

"A heater? Well no, I usually find other ways to heat the room." Ilpholin says, her tail swishing suggestively around the desk and just into Isabelle's view.

"Or just ask the base to turn up the temp a little I suppose. Could take a while." Ilpholin says, having HALlelujah do that.

"Are you cold or is this related to the squirrel?"

Seeing as how Ilpholin's office is quite crowded with scenes for the foreseeable future, Shayan has foreseen that she should probably take her own appointment to the head of AMEN's personal quarters instead. So here she is, knocking on the door of whatever room Ilphy uses as a bedroom these days with a packet of of vacuum-packed antigen gel in one hand.

She's wearing a labcoat over a red turtleneck and knee-length skirt for the occasion, dressing professionally after remembering and slightly misinterpreting Isabelle's recommendation about keeping things professional.

Isabelle glances at the tail, letting her smile grow just a little. Seems she approves of that method of heating the room up.

"It is related to the squirrel. I was going to demonstrate it, but without a heater that'd be somewhat awkward, so I'll just explain it. Shayan also suggested making the squirrels be sort of attracted to heat. Making them tame keeps them from running away from people. Making them be attracted to heat encourages them to get close to people. Maximum exposure to people. So, if there'd been a heater in here, you could've just stuck it at maximum and after a few minutes this squirrel would probably have decided to go curl up by it and take a nap."

"Ah. Clever." Hopefully this will all get started before summertime.

"And the other feature?"

Ilpholin somehow manages to not explode from being in all the places at all the times and opens the door.

"The last change isn't a feature as such. How did Shayan put it? Vegetative state? I think that was it. Basically we're just going to work on buffing up their brains so they can keep running about and spreading the plague for longer before they themselves are overcome by it."

Isabelle frowns, taking a feather out of her hair and playing with it for a moment, thinking...

"Oh! Oh yes! That was it, I knew I was forgetting something. They're also capable of breeding very rapidly, so they'll be harder to get rid of."

"I was working on two things, right befor the sudden change in leadership here. One thing is done, which is a space base that could fall down any time I want. "

This excludes any places like Inside, Riverside, etc. For OOC things it's best to assume the station never flies over these points, just close to draw attention.^^

Somewhere in the base, someone's (read: Darcy's) communicator seems to be demanding attention. Though it's not the loudest in the world. That would defeat the purpose of something designed to aid in subterfuge.

After being pie-d by the clown at the door, Darcy retreated to Ilpholin's room and just finished cleaning off when the communicator beeps. Ilpholin is in her office dealing with various minions, so Darcy feels safe answering it.

"Yes?"

"Hello. I thought I should check in." Oh dear, it's him. "It's been some time since AMEN withdrew from the Council, and despite that, it's been quiet. What's going on over there? Something big, or are they just at each other's throats?"

"Ilpholin transitioned back to nymph, and we found Koro and his sort-of family to bring here. Now she's making sure that AMEN's energies are focused on Riverside instead of Inside." Darcy says, trying to put the best spin on her girlfriend's plots.

"We're not Remnant. Our responsibility extends beyond one city." It appears the 'different city' thing isn't really doing much to dissuade DC. But then, he has business there himself. "How bad is it?"

Darcy sighs. "Jack's got a group of vampire minion/slaves and there's some new guy who is some sort of drowned undead. Smells terrible. The beargons are the best company around, except for Ilpholin. I'm sure I'll get used to it though."

Ilpholin raises an eyebrow. "I can think of many better uses for a space base than crashing it into something. Let's leave that as a last resort."

Though admittedly, there'd be a great deal of irony if it fell on Watchtower.

"That's good. Only cuter thing than squirrels are lots of baby squirrels." Well there's actually lots of things cuter than squirrels in Ilpholin's opinion, but they're still pretty cute.
