Pumpkin Pattern
I just carved up my Halloween Jack O' Lantern. At the last minute, I came up with this pattern, modeled after our favorite lich sorcerer (post decrowning), and I wanted to share it with ya.
Tomorrow night, I'll post a picture of how it looks lit up.The Future just ain’t what it used to be.

Re: Pumpkin Pattern
Sweet! I may give that a try. My wife and I did these earlier this weekend (using patterns, of course!)
Hers is the more intricate one.Last edited by Roland St. Jude; 2006-10-30 at 11:31 PM.

Re: Pumpkin Pattern
I am having a birthday party/halloween get together and as such I need to buy a pumpkin to carve.
I know it's pretty childish, but I really want to give it a go having never done it before.
I seem to pick up culture from the board like bacteria growing on a damp piece of left over bread....

Re: Pumpkin Pattern
They won awards for that video..
I have carved a pumpkin once, only a basic thing though, nothing as intricate as the other ones here.
Edit: how do patterns work exactly?I WILL round this Cape, even if I have to keep sailing until doomsday!

Re: Pumpkin Pattern
Trace the pattern onto your pumpkin, and cut the appropriate shapes out. For the pattern I posted, that would be the parts that are filled in with black.
For tracing, I taped the pattern onto my pumpkin and used a pick to drill tiny holes along the pattern outlines, then I removed the paper and used a marker to "connect the dots." That way, I could see the shapes better. Then I just carved away.

Re: Pumpkin Pattern
I was considering doing a Belkar...but my girlfriend wanted a cow so we did that instead.
What I do every time I see someone complain that their DM is a jerk just because some class/race/book/feat/etc. is not allowed at the gaming table.

Re: Pumpkin Pattern
Cool video! And cool pumpkins!
A poster (nevered) on the snotling.org website made some very cool Goblins pumpkins, but I can't post links to them because snotling.org is down right now .
I will post them after the site comes back up.
