The boy blinks. He'd never had a beautiful girl talk to him before. "Are you talkin' to me?" He looks around. surely there must be someone else around her she's talking to. He's definitely not handsome.

[The Bushranger]

[Streets]

"Who else would I be talking to?" Patty asks, smiling brightly. "I thought you looked a little lonely, so I figured I'd say hi..."

Of course, her top is displaying her assets quite nicely, so the smile could be missed.

[Halae]

[Streets]

He seems to be doing his best not to stare down her shirt, but the boy is having a hard time keeping his eyes on Patty's face. "I... ah..." a blush creeps across his face, "I have to go!"

And then he runs. Patty can feel the desire radiating off of him; he's probably just scared. She may, of course, be able to catch him, if she chooses, but the high heels may get in the way again.

One thing becomes evident though; she doesn't go back to normal when the person who transformed her leaves. She stays that way.

Patty frowns a bit, and sighs, but chooses against pursuit. After all, that wouldn't be the Angelican way...
She looks down at herself after a moment, frowning.
...what did you do to me? You know, if you'd talk, we could come to a mutual arrangement...

[Halae]

You're not talkative, are you? And yeah, he desired me. That's kinda what I do, Patty points out, crossing her arms over her chest and turning to resume her walk. I'm not gonna chase him though, if that's what you're asking.

[Halae]

... His desire... you... shape...

Given her chest is a bit larger, it's her dress is probably a bit ill-fitting at this point. An elder man sneers at her apparently brazen display and hurries on his way. Does patty get close to anybody else as she goes, knowing the same thing may happen?

Patty frowns a bit, deciding not to argue with Gozer the Head-Ghost, and picks up the pace a little, trying to adjust her dress. And she might well pass within 'desire range' of another person or two...

[Halae]

[Streets]

There's an elven woman that she passes by, and Patty will find herself growing taller, more muscular and... hairy. Her hair will become short cropped,a lantern jaw set, hair on her arms and legs, and the powerful feeling of muscles in her limbs and body. As the elf see sthis - blushing furiously - she hurries on her way, possibly to avoid revealing the sudden nosebleed Patty may have caught sight of. This will, unfortunately, likely rip a bit of Patty's dress.

Another person walks close, curious as to Patty's transformation. It's a middle-aged man, hair graying at the sideburns. even as this happens, Patty will find her body transmuting to his desire; a young woman with some chub to her, perhaps about twenty years old, and not exactly as voluptuous as she is fat.

Either one of these transformations will likely feel uncomfortable for the priestess. Despite this, the creatures puts urges into Patty's mind; she wants to bed this man who made her chubby. Him with his silly grin and predatory gaze. That's a dangerous look to a man.

Desire is... strength. The voice is becoming stronger now. perhaps It's gaining power the more of these transformations occur?

[Streets]

Patty gives the elven woman a wink and a nod, smiling and shivering a bit, even as her dress rips, and then she feels herself shifting again...

For a moment, she turns torwards the man with a smile, starting to say something...then shakes her head, hesitating for a moment before she turns, hustling along the street as best she can.

Desire is strength, but so is will, she counters, managing, suddenly, to trip, rolling to a stop at the base of a newsstand.

Feed on... Desire... I...

She leaves the man behind, a disappointed look on his face. That cane probably meant a bum leg; no chance for him to make chase.

Still, a new desire is present here at the newsstand. A fat half-orc dressed in a beret and turtleneck sits here, and Patty will feel herself shifting once more. This time, though, she will become something stunning; she doesn't have a curvy figure, but her body is perfect. Flawless. every imperfection eliminated as she takes on a slim caste.

"Usin' magic to look like what people want most, eh?" that half-orc said curiously, "Neve' 'ave I seen a more beautiful woman than you, Mi'lady. But burn me, you wa' not so a momen' ago."

Once more, the urges are there.

Patty pants for breath, and looks up, blinking in surprise. And finding herself blushing at the compliment.
"It's...an imperfect science. And...thanks." She manges a smile at the man, as she pulls herself to her feet, her dress quite a mess indeed. "But..sorry for just dropping in," she adds, a sultry tone in her voice as she winks.

Feed? How? she adds in her head, trying to maintain her willpower.

"Ah, no worries, miss. Free paper, thanks to da show. I'll 'ave to paint you when ah get 'ome." he leans forward, "Paintin's better with a model than a memory though..."

Take it in. Consume it. Make it strength. Starved. Hungry. So hungry.

Despite it's firmer messages, Patty should be able to maintain her own mind.

"Thank you, sir. And...well...I'd be willing to pose," Patty suggests with a smile and nod.

And what do you do then? Does it hurt them? Or me? Are you just hanging out until you get...fed?

[Halae]

[Streets]

No hurt. Never leave, but no hurt. Cannot feed with no body.

The fat half-orc grins, then reaches down into his stand to pull out a trench coat, then hands it to Patty to cover the places where her dress has torn, "Ya dress ripped. Bes' Replacemen' ah got. Sorry." He stands, starting to close up shop for now. Maybe it was a bit early, but he rarely got business in the afternoon and selling a potential painting of an incredibly beautiful woman was more important than his weak business.

"Thank you, sir. You're quite kind." Patty smiles, wrapping the coat around herself and slipping her hands into her pockets, looking around with her smile fading a bit as the newsvendor closes the shop.

Well, I appreciate that you don't hurt, but...never leaving, see, that's a problem. My mind might be open but that doesn't mean there's a 'For Rent' sign hung out for everybody who comes by. I might be able to help, but permament residence is...out of the question. as I can't be changing every time I get near someone. Do you have a name?

[Halae]

[Streets]

"Come wit' me, please," the half-orc painter says, walking off away from his cart. Nobody would touch it while he was away. There was no point.

He'll begin walking away towards the yellow zone

No name... Cannot feed without body. Host. Compromise?

Patty nods, falling into step next to the painter, looking around idly as she continues on with the conversation in my head.

Psychics: talking to and answering yourself isn't necessarily a sign you've gone mad!

Well, then you're Harvey. And you need a host, yeah. Trouble is, as I said, I can't just go around shifting to suit appearances of everyone I see. It's embarassing and awkward. However, I might be able to help with a compromise. Have you ever heard of Angela, Goddess of Lust?

[Halae]

[Streets]

Harvey... Need not. Shift... "appearance". Do so instinct. Controlled. Compromise.

Harvey is afraid. He doesn't want to be cast out of this new body.

the Half-orc seems to be leading Patty towards the residential district of the yellow zone at the moment, but it'll be something of a walk.

Well, that'd be a start. If I can keep control of how I appear, and you don't harm anyone else as well as myself, we might be able to strike a compromise. Alternatively, I could see about getting you a body, perhaps?

Patty will keep up with the half-orc easily, but unless he starts a conversation she's going to stay quiet.

[Halae]

[Streets]

The half-orc almost seems shy, despite his artsy exterior. Likely, Patty would have to be the one to strike up a conversation between this pair.

Misunderstand. Not appearance... at will. Adjust to desire of target.

Ah, I get it. But...well, you can not instinctually change, right? That would be a good start. Do you need a sapient mind to, well, possess? Or if we provided you with a body that was a blank slate, would that work for you?

Patty looks to the half-orc with a bit of a smile. "So. Have you been working the newssstand long?" she asks.

[Halae]

[Streets]

Do not know. Never try. No memories. Just Hunger.

"Ah, no. Just a job betwee' jobs, you see," the half-orc says pleasantly. He does well to hide his nervousness, "Try this, try that. very rewardin'."

[The Bushranger]

Well, we could possibly find out? Especially if...well, you get stronger as you're 'fed', right? If I helped you become especially strong, perhaps that would let you have your own body. Experience your own life, instead of having to ride around inside somebody.

"That sounds like a good idea to me. Test out to see if you enjoy something, without the risk of it being something you're stuck doing," Patty agrees with a nod.

[Halae]

"I..." the half-orc looks back towards Patty, stopping short. He seems on the brink of tears, "Forgive me, angel, bu' ah canno' paint you. I coul' nevah do justice," and he turns away from her, sobbing as he tears away into the streets.

What had that been about? Was that the nervousness from before coming to a head? He forgot his massively oversized trench coat on Patty though.

Harvey seems a bit stunned at the half-orc's sudden departure, but quickly recovers, I am Frightened of self body. He seem scared of it.

Well, that was unexpected.

Patty stands there, blinking in surprise, unable to think fast enough to call him back.
She pauses for a long moment, then closes her eyes, sighing.
I think...people are afraid of seeing what the desire most. What they desire most is...unattainable. It's a fantasy, you see - something to aspire to. When they suddenly are confronted with it...it scares them, because they feel unworthy of it. Exhibit A, right there. It's...unsettling. Too perfect, and so they are frightened.

[Halae]

Odd. I will consider. Patty, what do desire really mean?

There's a group of people approaching, and Harvey doesn't have the stabilizing influence of the half-orc to hold this form anymore... this could prove problematic without proper instruction.

Patty frowns, taking a deep breath, and turning away from the group of people, hurrying torwards a quiet alleyway that she hopes doesn't contain any hoboes...

That's...complicated. Very complex. A lot of people have spent their lives asking the same thing. Basically, I'd say it's a wish to be happy. It's something you want, that having will cause happiness. But it can either be a true happiness or an empty one. Just...'getting' can lead to empty happiness. But a true, and mutual, desire? That can lead to trueness.

[Halae]

No such luck I'm afraid, Patty. There's a man in a box nearby, and he'll catch sight of Patty, and his desire will begin to affect her.

Her body hidden by the trench coat, the change won't be obvious to the outside world. Her face, the perfectness of her form remain the same, but under the coat she'll feel the tightness of her dress as she becomes more voluptuous. Ridiculously voluptuous.

Damn hobo and his ridiculous fantasies. Thin waist, but massive rear and breasts. Oddly, she'll have a sort of walk that makes her seem poised and beautiful from every angle, despite the massive growth. The sudden weight may be a bit hard on her high heels though.

Complicated is all Harvey sends back.

Patty sighs as her body shifts, her dress surrendering just a bit more as her curves swell out.
Dramatically!

She looks down at herself, blinking, running her hands across the trench coat that barely contains her new assets. Hm. Could be worse...

And, looking around, she pauses, tosses back her hair, and starts unbuttoning the trench coat...
