Karnack

Something was definitely wrong with Book Man. Firstly Karnack looked around at the people Book Man was pointing out and he didn't see a single one who could take Karnack's axe from him, though the thought was a funny one.
Secondly he's not exactly sure what he meant by wrought. Me rot? Was it an insult? Well surely that wasn't right.
Thirdly Karnack could barely remember a mother when he was stolen all those many many years ago. He had no idea about a brother, but then again Book Man was really smart and he definitely knew stuff that Karnack didn't.
Brother? What you talk about? What Brother? he pauses, thinks a little more "Me want revenge not avenge. Not sure what avenge is. Know very much what revenge is!"

Ian

Seeing the situation calming a bit, "May be wise for all to finish their drink and retire for the evening.". With a coy glance at the barmaid and an exaggerated yawn, "I certainly wish to retire soon."

Another round is poured for the group and soldiers, the mood calming.

Karnack

Unsure of what's going on the Half Orc excuses himself from the tavern finds a nice tree to lean against and tries to fall asleep for the night. He wonders where the healer in town might be but his friends could probably help him. And with that he dreams of large hairy women.

Tryst

Hallucinations...Tryst accidentally exposed some of his secret when attempting to divert Karnack. He did not know what he was saying because his spirits was raised too high.

He vaguely remembered anything other than lumbering out after the orc but he was too far off outside for him to reach. Can't help but to fall a...

Within moment, he lapsed into slumber, just near a grove. He wakes up early next day, meditating, feeling the whole thing yesterday a mid summer dream.

The dwarf doesn't remember getting a room, but apparently he did, as he awakes the next morning with a pretty good headache, and no idea where he is. Less then pleased he straps on his gear and makes his way, finding himself in a low rent inn not far from the tavern.

The sun is brighter than it should be, but at least he knows where he is.

Thunderstone- Third Morning

As the sun crests the horizon, each of the party begins to saunter to the tavern common room for a hot breakfast. Some look more worse for the wear. Karnak looks as if he slept outside, Veltar and Tryst look as if the floor of the room did them little rest, Gorsomm looks much the same, hard though the bed did him good. Ian makes his way, a smile on his clean shaven face, cloths clean as ever, "Mornin boys, have a restful night?"

Veltar grumbles Inaudibly in dwarfish at everyone around him, and seems to be in no better a mood than the day before.

Tryst replies casually, not even glancing up from his book, the words unerringly absorbing into his expanding mind every second he enraptures himself into his usual tendency.

"It is so."

Karnack

"Me ok, tree was comfy." he looks around at the rest of the disheveled crew with the obvious exeption of Silver Tongue. "You look like you sleep good too Een. Me want to find healer here before we go back out hunting little goblins."

Gorsomm

Gorsomm shrugs at Ian, "It is what it is." He then looks at Veltar, "Cheer up Veltar, we should be able to go kill some goblins today."

Glancing at the rest of the group, "Does anyone else require a healer's services, or anything else before we head back out?"

Veltar huffed. "Goblins eh? yeah why not, I suppose it beats another round of the crap you men call drink."

He drew his axe and ran his thumb over the edge, drawing a bead of blood.

"I could certianly due to rid myself of this headache, they say killing things is the best way to do so."

Ian

With a catlike stretch , serpentine smile, and an audible pop in his back, "Well rested without much sleep. But, you seem to have a different interpretation for morning wood." Ian jests about Karbak's night under a tree.

The dwarf looks up at the massive orc, and sheathes his axe.

"Come on Orc, lets go get you patched up, most humans I doubt would be inclined to deal with a seven foot barbarian if it showed up on their doorstep all uninvited. Most dwarves would be inclined to cut your knees off."

Karnak

Karnack looks at Silver Tongue and then over to his dwarf friend and is unsure of how to respond. Finally he goes with. "Don't need patch, don't need wood, me need healing. Plus need knees so me no go see dwarf healer."
They make their way down to most well known healer in town Ms. Crabapple. She must be an amazing healer thinks Karnack because the woman in front of him must be over a hundred years old.
"Me got hurt by Wolvreen but don't worry he dead now." he pauses and then remembers "Me also got hit by flimsy flying stick of little goblin, but that only scratch."
He sets his axe down nicely on the floor, sits, so he's on the same level as the old lady and pulls out his coin purse. "How much you want? It ok to charge more, me know me big scary Half Orc."

Healer

The little old lady just smiles at Karnak, seemingly unafraid of the massive brute. With a muttered incantation in a slow measured tone she places her hands over the his wounds, in a matter of seconds the seem to melt backtogether. Karnka's wounds are nearly fully healed, she motions to a small dish on the table, expecting payment.

After the party reunites after breakfast, "Well gents, we'd best be back at it, at this rate another group of misfits will beat us to our prize."

Looking at Karnak, "I trust you are feeling better? may be a good idea to avoid any enemies too dangerous in the future, wouldn't want you to get yourself hurt again." his tone jesting.

Gorsomm rolls his eyes at Ian's playful barb and says, all business, "Let's go."

"Me ready, Me axe ready too!" He looks over to Ian and chuckles a little. "What more dangerous out there than me?"

"It is good then, let us be off!"

He grinned up at karnack; "two of you, Obviously, or two wolverines."

Once Again into the Infested Hills

As mid morning approaches and Karnaks has been healed the group of adventurers sets out once more, looking to find that band of Worg Riders...

As the group rounds another hill, Gorsomm swears he hears the sound of metal...or teeth crushing metal...

A moment later, Tryst sees the Worg party they are hunting and it appears anther group of mercenaries had recently met their end...

It looks as if the previous group didn't fail to leave their mark, two Worgs appear to have been killed along with one of their Goblin Riders. The Wounded Worg from earliers appears to be getting around just fine and recognizes the group, shouting in the Goblin's gutteral tounge...

Karnack

Seeing the goblins and the wargs scattered around the broken bodies of another adventuring group brings and awful taste to Karnack's mouth. Visions of the scene from day before of the wrecked carriage and the young woman alive while her father laying dead near here. The blood in his veins begins to boil. He knows he's on the verge of losing it all and he's not going to hold it back too much longer. "Here little puppy! Come and play with Karnack!"*

assuming that Karnack's shouting will certainly be enough to draw the goblins and their ilk in, Veltar moves up to take better cover, drawing his bow and readying an arrow, watching the natural pathway between the two hills ahead of the party.

Tryst inches his body towards a cover, positioning himself behind Ian and Gorsomm. He is hoping to slip to the high ground as of the previous scenario as Karnack taunts his opponents.

Gorsomm draws his bow and prepares for the impending fight. "We need to wait until they get a little closer before firing this time, since they ran like chickens last time."

"Lets hope it is more successful this time!?" as Ian moves up the hill, readying an arrow for the Worg's approach...

With a chattering in their gutteral toungue, the Goblins quickly dismount and begin moving towards positions of cover, their shortbows in hand....


Worgs

The three healthiest Worgs blitz towards the group, taking arrows as they come whilst the most recently wounded approaches the hill more cautiosly...
