wrong, we see the true form of the demon in Angel S2E20

Also, in the TV show, and the Comics, last i knew, we only see one true demon ever, every other is a halfbreed or lesser demon.

I think it still works if you make a special exception for the Archosaurs and exclude the Mammal-like Reptiles.

Carolus Linnaeus established a precedent of grouping everything according to how much you like it and ignoring the facts to fit your preconceived notions, so I can still have my tidy little classifications.

There is no such thing a "tidy" classification in evolutionary biology. (I'm looking at you, seasponge.)

I wish there were a D&D method for removing vampirism so this wouldn't be so wrenching. Ah well - I trust the Giant's narrative capabilities.

Nope. A vampire is undead and when an undead is killed (destroyed) it is reduced to dust/ash/bone meal/whatever and is unresurrectable.

    Evidence against, would be:
    http://www.d20srd.org/srd/spells/resurrection.htm

You can resurrect someone killed by a death effect or someone who has been turned into an undead creature and then destroyed.

I don't think Buffy-demons HAVE a soul. But I doubt it was ever worked out to that extent.

Yeah, it seems that Buffy vampires have all the range of human attridutes, love, hate, pride, arrogance, etc. EXCEPT for empathy and concience. That seems to only be connected with a soul in the the Buffy-verse.

ALL order is imposed from the outside. You just have have to get comfortable about that and the fact that without at lest SOME order (even if it is artificial), it's impossible to come to grips with all the information out there.

Oh, Giant. Such sadness and joy for Durkon.
Going to raise a tankard of ale for Durkon tonight. But I cannot convince myself he is really gone.
Going to revisit some of my favortie Durkon comics: Durkon heroically fighting trees.
