Frankly, you smell like you've been hugging a Red, but most people aren't going to really be bothered by that. You're still welcome to the shower.

If there's nothing else, Dante will bid Jace tonight and try to get some sleep. Despite being exhausted, Dante will end tossing and turning on the floor all night. He won't remember any dreams the next day, but considering his nature, that's probably for the best.

Dante may wake up the next morning to the smell of pancakes! And once he opens the sound-muffling curtains, the sound of Jace's (actually pretty decent) singing voice and a harmonica.

[But don't look back in anger], I heard 'im say."
Apparently he's one of those people.

After a moment of thinking, she asks, "Is there, perhaps, a somewhat more obscure word for a beetle? Perhaps even an ostentatious one? It would be fitting for me now."

[Hadlin's Room]

Hadlin scratches his chin, "The only ones I can think of are Scarabaeus and Drekis."

Hadlin's Room

The fairy thinks for a moment. "Then we can call me 'Scarabaeus'." It's an okay name, she thinks. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Hadlin."

"Same to you, Scarab," the full name is a bit of a mouthful, after all, "Do you have any questions before we start the day in earnest?"

"Do you have a way to tell what my new powers are? I don't know what I have yet, and I can operate on guesses but I would prefer some foreknowledge." A step from forest spirit to beetle spirit is, as was discussed, a bit of a jump.

Lucy happens to be in the kitchen, and it's entirely possible that, if the means of making them were there, BLT sandwiches are being made.

Or PB&Js.

Or both.

She looks up when she hears Terry approaching, and smiles, looking her over appreciatively. Her eyes do linger on the pink-haired woman's hips for a lenghty, and apparently very appreciative, moment before finding her face once more.

"Feeling better?" the towel-clad ninja asks brightly.

[Terry's Apartment]

What self respecting bachelor has a pad without peanut butter and jam? No tomato or lettuce on the premises, though, so no BLTs are to be found. Terry will go to sit down next to Lucy, feeling a great deal lighter on the front, "Definitely," she says, leaning back. even without the oversized breasts, her shirt clings to her body due to Waldorf's curse, and she doesn't have a bra in this size. Not that she had one in F-cup either, but still.

PB&Js for everyone! Hurrah!
"You look good too, you know. Not that you didn't before, but you look...well...good." Lucy blushes as she does, indeed, make note of the tightly-clinging shirt, and, on impulse, she leans over to kiss her gently.

[Hadlin's Room]

"Every between worlds being is unique, as far as I can tell. why don't you try to contact the local insects? I'm sure there's some just out the window, if there aren't any in here."

[Terry's Apartment]

Terry will return the kiss as well, leaving Lucy's lips as rainbow colored as Terry's. Lucy may well be dealing with a much longer kiss than she intended here.

Quite possibly; however, there are absolutely zero complaints from Lucy on this score. As the buxom ninja is perfectly willing to hold the kiss until coming up for air is required, if desired.

Needless to say, the PB&Js are very quickly forgotten.

Hadlin's Room

"I-yes. I can hear them, now that I listen. They are simple things... I do not think they could distinguish their own thoughts from things I send to them. It would be easy enough to puppeteer one."

She looks down at Herslef. "Perhaps I can change my form to something that makes more sense? No, no, I seem to be stuck-" She then, with some surprise, turns back into the brown beetle.

"Rot!"

[Terry's Apartment]

"I'm not interrupting anything, am I, girls?" Oh, look, it's Giacomo, standing in the doorway to his/her room, looking less than pleased. Terry will break off and has a retort ready, but... Well, Lucy is only wearing a towel. It's pretty clear where this would have gone without interruption. Terry's ears twitch in annoyance.

[Hadlin's Room]

"... huh," he says, curious, "See if you can't change yourself back."

[The Bushranger]

[Terry's Apartment]

Lucy looks up, blushing and also looking slightly annoyed, and clears her throat. "Maybe, but now the world will never know," the ninja replies, extracating herself from where she had been in the process of settling into Terry's lap. While one hand brushes fondly down the appretence mage's arm... "Need something?"

Hadlin's Room

The beetle changes back into the small humanoid form, the same as it was. She sighs. "But no flexibility? Bothersome."

Dante awakes to the muffled music and singing playing downstairs. He's still very tired, probably from the restless sleep. He wondered if every night would be that bad. He looks around the room to see several small scorch marks littering the loft. Somewhat embarrassed, he ponders whether or not he should try to find different accomadations, some a little more fireproof. At least until he learns to control his powers.

On second thought, he should probably find his own place anyway instead of just mooching off of Jace. But one step at a time. First he has to get out of a bed.

What Dante fails to notice is the feather is actually encased in ice.

Amusingly, the feather only stops working if physically broken, so if allowed to defrost normally it shouldn't actually stop.
Anyway, since Dante hasn't actually gotten up, nothing happens to alter the musical breakfast-making happening downstairs. Except that now Zebes (as that is who's playing) has ENGAGED EPIC HARMONICA SOLO.

Hildur's Cave

When flying, it doesn't take all too long for Hildur to arrive with her girlfriend. She quickly enters the cave.

Thryza kisses her cheek, trotting into the spring room to start setting up the futon. She's really quite excited."

Hildur grins and follows Thyrza. "You need any help, sweetie?" She looks happy that there'll finally be a comfortable and non-gold place to sleep.

Thryza giggles, unfolding the mattress and slipping out of her coat and boots.
Yeah, help me test the comfiness!

Hildur's Cave

Hildur grins and takes her boots off before practically flopping onto the mattress. She holds her arms out to Thyrza with a giggle.

Thryza flops into her arms, grinning. Whee! This is nice!

Hildur chuckles and rubs Thyrza's back. "Good thing, too, all those nights on the ground were making my back sore."

The alchemist nods, giggling. Mmmm, mine too... I can't wait to sleep on this every night!

Hildur grins before trying to pull Thyrza into a kiss. "Mm, sleep and snuggle and kiss..." her speech fades into giggling.
