Ironically, the first Super Sentai series to use giant robots was Battle Fever J... which was originally conceived as an adaptation of Captain America.

I really love that they somehow imply that Hawkeye is the 6th Ranger (they show him last, after an action sequence break).

Totally fits the classic "6th Ranger starts off as an opponent but ends up joining the team".
