As for the techno-undead plot, it'd start out in a warzone, with various people having been rebuilt for use as soldiers. Memories would be hazy, probably, but dependent on the individual; some would have all of them, others none at all.

Some of them would be civilians from the city, others military forces, some from completely elsewhere.

It might take a while, and it's physical mutations of your character, so it could be anything you want. It's from the Warhammer universe, and typical mutations include tentacles, oddly-placed eyes, horns, extraneous mouths, extra limbs and so on.

With stuff like that, or the mutations caused by a D20 Artefact, I don't like to state outright because they aren't my character and I like to see what other people can come up with.
