Enshadu didn't murder a woman who loved him unconditionally and sacrifice his own child for power. He's a psychopath, but he didn't do anything so cruel as that.

There's basically no redemption for something like that; Marty must die at this point, or descend further into villainy. He's passed the tipping point, the moral event horizon.

Indeed it does. Especially as The Hunter seems to be kinder than Marty, at times. Look at that silversmith, for instance.

Enshadu's power hungry and...well, prone to being an insane gibbering pile of breaking machinery, which gives him that not quite as intimidating, but still effective shtick. He's basically there to **** stuff up. Why? Cause...well, he can't do anything else very well.

Marty....is not power hungry. But he's insane. He was made to be a good guy, damn it! And he was for...A long, long time. But... People used him as a punching bag because he was a good, innocent guy. When he was first made up he dealt with Sleet deceiving him multiple times, Chez doing horrible things to people he loved, and Shada's weirdness. He would have been fine with a little therapy and a vacation. Kale, pretty much started Marty's descent into madness. Thanks Third. Kale was a mirror to Marty, eerily so. Just flipped onto the other side. That freaked him out. Kale was on Sleet's side. Sleet's evil. Shada's good. Marty lost Shada, and a limb. Kale won Sleet, and was happy! This defied every moral Marty ever had. And....Was cursed in that Cylar plot.

Since then Marty's tried to get over his guilt and anger at life's cruelty by cutting himself severely, selling sections of his soul, and having someone entirely removing the part of Marty that made him feel sadness. Then, he got a break. He met Trissy, fell in love again, was happy....was going to be a father, his inn was going great! Happily ever after! Psh, no. **** that. No, a freaking dragon burnt down his inn. Then Trissy was assassinated for NO APPARENT REASON. I still don't know why. Hell, Trissy was killed when she was WITH CHILD. How did Trissy AND Sylvia survive? Dunno. They clearly died, someone resurrected them. Then, he went to GLoG trying to get therapy.

Kinda worked, met Vidalia...was happy. She had him fix his left leg with some Magtok technology. Yay! Marty was looking like he was starting to become that goodish character, after a while more in GLoG. Psh, happy endings? Hah! Vidalia made him speak, delving way too far. He ran from GLoG. Okay. He went genuinely insane around this time. He proceeded to Trog's, and tried to kill Nort. Out of the blue, just wanted to kill someone. Everyone's guilty. Kay. Then, Zane!

Zane burns the ENTIRE LEFT SIDE OF HIS BODY, STABS HIM TWICE IN THE GOOD LEG, ONCE MORE IN THE ARM FOR GOOD MEASURE, THEN KICKS HIM OUT A TWO-STORY WINDOW ON FIRE, THROUGH GLASS?! A bit of overkill. He wanted to avenge the loss of his families and friend, but was too weak to do anything. He still had Trissy's cash, so bought lessons. He wanted more power. He fought Zane again, and actually shot his apprentice hermit and escaped. Then called Calublufiok. Here's where it gets nasty. Cal tells him his firstborn daughter is alive. As is Trissy. The child, for great power to destroy his enemies. Mr. Psychopath finds his daughter, and Triasy...inexplicably alive. (More sanity damage, it's Cthulu!) then, goes on a fake picnic back to the glade. He then proceeds to SELL HIS OWN CHILD, SHOOT HIS WIFE SEVERAL TIMES, SUCK OUT HER MAGICAL POWER, AND BLOW UP HER HAND. :

Hey, don't go blaming it on Kale. Kale was a pretty good guy besides all the racism. He didn't even bother with Marty until Marty started freaking out and trying to strangle him every few minutes.

Marty and Kale played against Shada and Sleet perfectly. Honestly, Kale and Marty were really fun to read due to the big fat cluster**** of moral ambiguity around the two. Marty's been on the moral edge for a while....currently he just jumped off the cliff doing the cannanball...

Shadow walks over to the wall, crouches and dips his hand up to the wrist - although you're not sure how he's doing it - into the blackness of its shadow. He is motionless for a few moments, then withdraws his hand.

"Besides, I don't really need a tour to know the place. I just accessed the shadows inside your building, and I now know the exact layout, size and contents of it. I also heard all the conversations for the past... oh, about a week, because time is variable inside shadows... but I did want to get to know the place through the eyes of an inhabitant. It's a pity I had to do it the supernatural way.

He half-turns for a moment.

"Oh, surely not... I do believe it is!"

Shadow soars up into the air again - giving the guns tracking him a disparaging glance, then looks over towards Mallside. A moment later, several wisps of shadowstuff rejoin him, and he looks down at the guards.

"I do apologise for leaving so suddenly, but something very interesting has come up..."

He flies off towards Shadowside.

GrandDM, I'm afraid this post is godmodding. Shadow can attemptto access the shadows of another PC or their property, but it's up to the other player to say whether he succeeds. In this case, there are strong magical wards all throughout Remnant that prevent this from working. If you want to edit your post to having Shadow attempting to shadow scry the base, I can post the reaction.
