Solo jerks a bit as he returns to the present (seeing as his mind was focused on the sea and on Mika).

"Huhuhuhu... Apart from being in the same school as my sister? Well, I'll be going to a military university. Before then, I have to be here, to look after her and stuff." He grins, displaying his white teeth. "Besides, it gives me a chance to play rugby here. I'm on the school team. You should come watch a game of mine sometime!"

"I'm not really into rugby. It's a bit to brutal I think." Mika says.

"How old is your sister, if you need to watch over her?"

"Well, you can come and make sure I don't get hurt." Solo's only half-joking.

"Well, we're about same age. I don't need to watch over her, we're just so close. Besides, I don't have to leave for the army anytime soon, so it's okay."

As he speaks, his hand brushes against hers, lingers for a long moment, then is removed.

Mika is turning her hand away as somethign brush away. she waves in the air assuming a bee or something wanted to land on her hand. She doesn't realize it's solo.

"And what does your sister study here? is she going to take place in the army as well? I mean there aren#t only frontline jobs, right?"

"Well, she's going to major in Literature Studies. She's in a class right now. A class that should end..."

Something around Solo's wrist starts ringing. "Now. She'll come here soon, if you want to meet her? But not for long, we're leaving soon." He smiles.

Miak looks confused at him.

"How does she know we are here?" she asks. maybe Solo did plan this beforhand, but wasn't it her idea to go for an ice?
"Oh I don't want to hold you up. Maybe another time I can meet her."

Solo laughs. "She likes the sea too. She's a water fae, but she's normal-sized, and is my little sister." He smiles wistfully. Sure, she can be super-annoying at times, but she's still his sister.

His face falls. "Aw, that's too bad... I guess... good luck in your exams, then. Maybe we can exchange contact details? I'd love to see you again, Mika."

"I'm not here for long." Mika says. "I can give you my home number. I don't belive I will move anytime soon. Even if I get good grades I will need to earn some money befor I can afford a new home." She will write down the number on a paper and tears out the piece.

Solo takes the piece of paper. "Nice! Here's mine!" He offers her his.

In the distance, a blue-skinned girl is slowly approaching the two. "Oh, there she is. I do hope you get to meet Felicity soon... It was lovely meeting you, Mika."

Mika takes the number and stands up.

"Well then, until next Time." she says and heads off to leave Solo and his aister alon."

Felandria is subsequently pulled towards the gym, where they can start practicing while they wait to see if any other members of the team show up.

Yuki grabs a few volleyballs and tosses one to Fel with a grin. She did enjoy the first few moments of practice where it was just them. "Feeling ready for the game this weekend? Anything you wanna practice in particular?"

Caroline smiles and her tail wags gently. Mairyn is so shy he makes Vulpan boys look positively assertive! Maybe he'll relax with a bit of friendly encouragement.

Sure, I'll play with you: come on.

And she leads the way over to the wall where the court lines are painted.

And so they play racquetball!

As it turns out, he does relax some as time goes on. All it takes is for him to forget that she's a girl 'cause there's every reason to be nervous around girls.

After a while and a bit late, Mika runs into the gym. As she sees the other girls she stops. She Looks like she had taken a run to the gym, but is already changed.

"Sorry..." she says between breaths. "was at....lake...for an....ice..after...exams."

As it turns out, he does relax some as time goes on. All it takes is for him to forget that she's a girl 'cause there's every reason to be nervous around girls.

Naturally: just as things are starting to actually get comfortable, the bell rings. Caroline is panting somewhat by this point: exercise has never been all that high in her priority list, and being both fuzzy and of a sort that doesn't sweat because they basically don't have sweat glands makes the exertion rather warm overall.

Dunno what... you were worried about... you're really good... at that!

She's looking forward to Art class now: a chance to sit still sounds lovely.

Harley shows up to the Volleyball team practice, finally. Wearing exercise-type clothing instead of her leather jacket and dirty jeans makes her feel self-conscious, especially because her body type draws too much attention to her way-too-short hair. (It's all her sister's fault for cutting it while she was sleeping...)

She, of course, doesn't have her cat; letting a kitten roam around where balls are being thrown around is just recipe for disaster. Cat's left in the locker room, actually.

Harley mumbles some random excuse under her breath, and joins in the practice.


[Gym: Class]

Mairyn, who I'm pretty sure doesn't have art class next, says, "Er, thanks," to the compliment. "You, too." Not sweating has got to suck. "It was fun, thanks."

Then! He remembers. Jocks. Or, rather, a particular one. He'll be in the changing room soon; Mairyn had better get back to the changing room quickly to take a shower really fast.

"...yeah. Uh. I'm going to go change now. Bye." He starts to race back to the boys' locker room, hoping he's fast enough.

Caroline takes her time, but does run into a trouble of her own. A classic "mean girl" decides to tease her about her lack of... ahem... "development", with the result of Caroline casting a spell to turn the unfortunate girl bright purple.

Mika looks confused. She isn't in the team for long enougth to know such things.

"That's odd. How did that tradition came up?"

Felandria waits for someone else to talk, then responds.

Not sure, really.

Traditions are like that, they happen so long nobody remembers why.
