Hrm <o.o> Weird in what sense? (I was trying to make it a bit more masculine since I usually draw petite feminine noses) Not saying there's nothing wrong, merely that I'm uncertain what to fix <o.o> cause I want to make this good.

Ah, on DA it's been pointed out that the nostril is probably a bit high >.< as well as the eye. Will fix.

So out of curiosity, what do you make the images in?

I use a program called ArtRage these days, it's a little unintuitive, but it has some features I really like. That said, I used to use GIMP a lot, and that worked quite well for years. < . .> I'm tempted to try Sai, but I haven't gotten around to it yet.

The background is odd I know - but I was trying to get a 'quiet sunset into twilight' feel and I think I got as close as I've ever gotten to that. Far from perfect though. Feeling quite rusty.

Should add 2 notes:

1) I don't know why photobucket messed up the top of the pic like that; but it's on their end not mine.

2) You can see a bigger version on DA if you can't see this version well enough; my DA is in my sig; I mention that cause photobucket really cuts pictures down and while that's no problem on a headshot; it's more difficult to see a full body image this way I think.

I decided not to put the fairie in the human's lap as the size difference made it hard to make out the fairie - and she fit on the shoulder pretty darn well I think. I need to make some alterations to the human I think, there's something 'missing' there but I'm not sure what.*

I wanted to make sure I'm going in a decent direction before I ink and paint it since that takes the longest while sketching is the easiest (usually).

*No it's not the ears - they'd be covered by her hair, unless C'nor wants a different hairstyle.

I think its the face itself thats lending to that - something is off - feeling. The eyes look properly placed, but I feel the nose may be at the wrong depicted angle, and may need to be redrawn to point it in a better direction, and because of it, it's also throwing off the mouth. Otherwise, I think your sketch looks quite nice, and I like its direction.

Yeah, I think if I get approval to go ahead with this design, I'll completely redo the larger woman <. .> About the only thing with her I'm happy with at present are the eyes and hair; but I'm happy with the fairy at least!

So, uh... I really, really, like how you did Nycca, except for one tiny thing (emphasis on 'tiny' ): I apparently didn't describe her very well, 'cause she's not that small. She's probably around four feet tall, or thereabouts, with Talina being six feet or so.

I dunno, it might just be me, but she looks smaller in relation to Talina than I meant her to; maybe it has something to do with the body type you gave her, since she seems very... Delicate?

Talina and Nycca are lovers, if that helps with how they should look together? I just realized I don't actually know if I mentioned that or not and that it might be relevant for both posing and size.

Oh < . .> I was thinking fairies tend to have an elvish bodytype (ie: significantly slimmer than a human of the same height); and I figured 4' wasn't particularly tall (though I do admit she's probably more like 3' in that picture >< I tried, really I did!)

I was trying to make things kinda intimate but casual, like they'd been sitting there talking and someone walked in. That's why the human has her fingers around the fairy's leg like that. >.<

I'll do another sketch soon - I probably won't get to it today since I have a load of stuff to do this morning and then I'll probably be asleep for a good while; but I'll get to it ASAP.

It's fine, and yeah, the three feet is probably what I'm seeing there. I know you tried, so don't worry, okay? If it helps more than measurements, I see Nycca as being maybe... Mid-chest on Talina?

And aye aye, that makes sense. No worries on posing, that's definitely something that might happen. Elvish bodytype is also probably appropriate, given Nycca still has weight issues from some backstory stuff.

And that sounds good~ Really liking what you're doing in the abstract, and sorry to make you keep doing it over to match up with them.

Sorry for the extra delays everyone, it's been a heckuva week here. My computer crashed on the 26th and I lost everything, then in the past 48 hours I've had a 103 degree fever and been in the hospital.

Anyway, your requests are not forgotten, as soon as possible I'll give C'nor's another go and then get on Alucard's < . .> I just wanted to let everyone know what the holdup was.

I may color it, may not, we'll see. Overall I'm pleased with it even if it isn't perfect, I feel like I got the body "mostly' right though so that's important.
