Something like this:

Roy: Former special forces, now some form of law enforcment. Maybe FBI och U.S Marshalls. I think maybe a little like Booth from Bones, but Roy would be an highly intelligent and educated agent and not a 'gut' feeling type of agent.
Haley: Hacker, used to be a Black hat who was in for the lulz, but now she works with law enforcment. She will however occasionally fall back to her old ways.
Durkon: I'd say that he is a devout man, but not a fanatic. He works with construction, were he is respected and well liked. He also has a microbrewery that he has won awards for, but he will not let that get to his head.
Vaarsuvius: Used to work with experimental physics, but felt they had to little freedom so switched to the private sector and now develops weapons.
Elan: Winner of american idol or something similar, he dabbles in most things entertainment and has a big and loyal fanbase.
Belkar: Has been in and out of jail for most of his life, tend to get into barfights.


Nale: Low level career criminal with big plans, racketering, loan shark, illegeal gambling. stuff like that. As long as he stuck to those crimes he managed to go under the radar.
Thog: Nales trusty sidekick and muscle. Used to be a professional boxer, now he just beat up people who own Nale money.
Sabine: I'm thinking either an event planer/hostess at a Las Vegas casino, or some form of PR/advertising. She uses her sex appeal to get her way, she is highly intelligent and fiercly loyal to those few she cares about.

Tarquin: Managment consultant.
